As you may have seen we published an article on the Dutch hero Sinterklaas.

Tomorrow it's his birthday and one of the things we normally do in the Netherlands is getting presents from Sinterklaas, with an attached poem. One of his helpers, who was responsible for these poems, turned out to not be able to read and write. Can you help Sinterklaas with a small rime?

Be creative and Sinterklaas may reward you with a nice present!

Zwarte Piet was heel blij met niet goede bericht,
en smeerde wat extra roet op zijn gezicht.
De hele discussie hierover was hij inmiddels helemaal zat,
terwijl hij zelf aan het geven van kadootjes altijd veel lol had gehad.

En niet alleen de Nederlandse kinderen worden door de Sint geplezierd,
Zijn verjaardag wordt bijvoorbeeld ook in Duitsland gevierd.
Hij doet echt alles voor eenieder die dat verdient,
En hoe hij de cadeaus bedenkt? Hij lijkt helderziend!

We vieren pakjesavond op de verjaardag van de Sint,
de kindervriend die een ieder bemint.
Met kadootjes in de schoen voor iedereen
en voor het paard Americo een heerlijke peen.
Een chocoladeletter of banketstaaf
houdt alle eNederlandse kindertjes braaf.
Maar doe je dingen die niet zijn pluis
dan neem Sint je in de zak mee naar zijn huis.

ElGorro, een man in een gorilla pak, 10 rewichtsvesten later en nu zit dat pak strak. Sinterklaas verwacht veel van deze sterke vent, binnenkort de nieuwe minister president. Sint hoop dat net zoals hij deze gorilla terug zal geven aan het zoete volk. Door het verlies van de Plato foundation bevinden de regeringsprogrammas zich in een draaikolk. ElGorro is de persoon die ons uit het ruwe water moet navigeren. Samen met zijn ministers het land regeren.
