Farewell Norway!

Day 2,634, 15:21 Published in Norway Norway by Jasper Zuidema

Greeting's Norwegian's!

This article may come as a shock to some of you since I have been among you for quite some time now, Yes I indeed plan to leave eNorway, I will be officially resigning from congress (As we have no congress this term the last terms congress is still voting etc) and any other positions as of tomorrow, February 6th 2015.

When I first started playing eRepublik I initially started in eNetherlands but after only 4 months quickly switched over to eNorway where I have stayed since. I've gotten to know quite a few of you very well over the almost 2 years that I have been here and have held numerous political positions, in fact I write this article on the eve of when I was elected for my first CP term, I would probably say that the February and March of 2014 where among my most exiting times on erepublik, but also tasking and demanding. I would say my experience has not topped that since. Does anyone remember when FYROM air striked into our regions and declared war on Sweden and Finland? Do you remember our victory when we booted them out of Scandinavia and when we invaded England for helping them? and Perhaps you remember our coordinated invasion along side Sweden against Germark? Take a look at this map back then!

We did awesome then, Norway was able to clamp down on Denmark while Sweden mopped up Germany, at the same time Finland was fighting in UK's core regions. I miss those times, was alot of fun working along side Asgard and our allies back then.

However lately I have been getting rather bored with the game and I'm wanting to try to pursue a new and exiting experience, back during my beginning CP term's we had established a strong relationship with Australia because we had shared in many similar situations, I had a good friend in Australia, Tim_Holtz who I had joined in Australia in a game known as vPop, it was already back then that my interest started to spark with Australia, I'm glad to say our relations with them are still very much alive to this day, and that is where I am hoping to start my next adventure in erepublik.

With that all said, I want to take the time to thank several friends who have made my time here in Norway very memorable, most notably: Joshua Morriseau, Tangerine Dream, taulen, Bloodtrail and Benevolent Dictator for Life. You guys where the ones I worked most closely with and grew to appreciate and rely on, I will for sure be keeping contact with you and tabs on whats going on! I also want to thank everyone in the Norwegian community as well as Sweden and Finland who have been so much help, Thanks!!

Until next time!

Best Regards:
