Day 11 - Poland Expelled from South America

Day 11

North America
Day 11 saw Spain score big victories in Illinois and Missouri. With the loss of Indiana, this gives them access to all of America’s resources, except the Aluminum mines still located in New England. These regions are behind a Canadian wall, due the Canada’s control of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. If Spain wants to get them, they will need to go through Canada first. With the fall of Missouri, it is unclear where Spain will attack next. It is clear that ONE wants to wipe America, something that PEACE could never do. So, in that regard, Spain (and allies) will need to control all our regions. But where they attack next, remains to be seen.


Who knows where they will go...

Mexico attacked Nevada from Arizona. It is now clear that they are making an attempt to cut off America from the capital. This would wipe out the American economy, and leave us in possession of only Grain and Fruit. However, America is entering her prime time, and all though this is Mexico’s prime time as well, much of Mexico’s power comes from their European MPPs, which should be asleep.

South America
VICTORY! Brazil managed to completely remove Poland from South America. With control of Canary Islands going back to Spain, this means that Poland would have to attack both Mexico and Spain or go through Mexico, Indonesia and Venezuela. Both options seem highly unlikely. Also of note, is the Mexican Resistance war in Oaxaca. If Poland loses this battle, they will be completely removed from the Western Hemisphere, which would be a gigantic blow to ONE.

Western Europe
France regained control of Paris from Spain, marking the end of Spanish occupation. Poland still controls regions, but they are also being Resisatnce War’d back.
Germany also continues to win regions against Poland, and is currently trying to regain Saxony. If victorious, this would separate the Polish capital from their regions in Germany, making them economically useless.

Eastern Europe
Serbia stands poised to attack Canada, or China. The world awaits their decision, although it seems likely that Canada is the target.

Overall Analysis
The war in South America was a surprising success. I had thought that Brazil was on the way to being wiped, but the combined forces of Terra pulled out a victory, and then continued that success. This should allow Brazilian tanks to support other regions.
Obviously, everyone is waiting to see what Serbia will do. It is almost certain that they are planning on positioning themselves for an attack on America, and until they do so, we can only wait, and stock up.
