Kyudo (弓道 kyūdō?, way of the bow) is the modern Japanese martial art (gendai budō) of archery; kyudo practitioners may be known as Kyudojin, kyūdōjin (弓道人?), experts in Kyudo are referred to as kyūdōka. Kyudo is based on kyūjutsu (art of archery), which originated with the samurai class of feudal Japan.

No, Emperor was real leader. Shogun was like a General in modern time who just ignored Emperors orders that he didn't like it, just to preserve warrior-like culture.
