Day 2,686, 15:01 Published in Japan Russia by Tumoshimo

Looking for some interesting pictures from Japan?
Girls in kimono, interesting places, crazy things, learning Japanese language...
Well my friend, your on right place.

So... sit, relax, enjoy.
And welcome on Daichi #3. 🙂

Tokyo tower looking good... and the girl too.

Teru teru bōzu てるてる坊主 (shiny-shiny Buddhist priest) is a little traditional hand-made doll made of white paper or cloth that Japanese farmers began hanging outside of their window by a string. This amulet is supposed to have magical powers to bring good weather and to stop or prevent a rainy day. ‘Teru’ is a Japanese verb which describes sunshine and a ‘bōzu’ is a Buddhist monk.

Torii, the sacred gates.
Torii (鳥居) are traditional Japanese gates often found at the entrances of Shinto and Buddhist temples in Japan. A Torii is a border separating the physical world from the spiritual world. If you cross that border through this gate, you must cross it again on your way back.

A miko (巫女) is a Shinto term of Japan, indicating a shrine (jinja) maiden or a supplementary priestess who was once likely seen as a shaman but in modern Japanese culture is understood to be an institutionalized role in daily shrine life, trained to perform tasks, ranging from sacred cleansing to performing the Kagura, a sacred dance.

Okay, let see some girls... high school girls. 🙂

This 4 girls are from band named SCANDAL. It is an all-female pop/rock band from Osaka, Japan. SCANDAL was formed in 2006 by four high school girls: HARUNA (vocals/guitar), MAMI (guitar/vocals), TOMOMI (bass/vocals), and RINA (drums/vocals).
