[WeThePeople] Congress and Condemnation
Hale26
We The People,
I’d like to start off by saying, on behalf of our 8 Congressmembers, that we would like to thank everyone who participated in the primaries as candidates or as electors. Honestly, this month was harder for everyone in the process cause the website went down. In spite of that we made a back-up system and got a decent turnout (21). I’m personally expecting turnout to go back to our normal levels (low 30s) once the party, as a whole, endorses a post-website operating system. Relevant discussion, by the way.
And of course, we would like to thank everyone who voted for WeThePeople this cycle! Turnout from last month went down by at least 10%, and that’s plenty to be down about. We haven’t had a lot of reasons to be cheery lately, if I’m honest with you. The website went down, our Party President went inactive and then completely rogue, this led to us dropping from #2 in the nation to #4, apparently one of our Congressmen left the delegation…etc. It’s been a rough time. No flowery way to put it.
Despite that, we elected nine of our candidates and garnered 1/6th of the national vote. In order of election, I would like to congratulate:
Our peculiar circumstance means the 102nd WTP delegation will have to be one of the most active ones in our party’s history. We need to spread the WTP values of inclusion, fairness and communication. We need to advocate for populism. We must continue the fight against complacency in WTP, Congress, the Executive board and wherever else it may lie. Our community needs these values. I think I speak for everyone when I say the 9(8?) of us take these responsibilities seriously (Hence the article 3 days into the term.
In short: WTP hasn’t given you much reason for high expectations in the past. That ends with us.
Now some business:
Condemnation of the Federalist Party President and the 102nd Federalist Congress delegation.
We all remember Sunshine, right? The PP who went inactive, then rogue - changing the party's name and logo to suit himself before finally leaving. Safe to say he damaged our community. Having the Party Presidet abuse the trust given in them to mess around with whatever does not build communities. In fact, WTP owes much of its current sufferings to him.
GOOD NEWS: He found a place for himself on this month’s Federalist Congress slate.
WTP Congressmen Hale26, Comet Academy, Thalio Voss, Cubby and The Mike have signed off on the following statement, in response to the actions of the Federalist Party President:
Senryaku leaving the delegation
To be honest, I’m still not sure what happened there. I’ve reached out to Senry but it would appear he jumped ship to SFP right after he was elected under the WTP banner. I don’t presume SFP to have any part in this. I strongly doubt Senry was a plant. That being said, a member leaving right after the party put faith in them is troubling. I’m reaching out to him to find out his reasons and if this was a permanent move, or…?
TL
😉R- I’m just as confused as you are about this. I’ll provide updates when I have them.
Speaker of the House Nominations
The WTP Delegation has yet to discuss any of the candidates running. We have been made aware that AlexJ (FED) and Greeling (AMP) are running for the position. While WTP does not have party line votes on anything that is not approved by in-party referendum, we still do have discussions on which candidates to support based on their personal judgement, their ability to win, and if they intend to include WTP viewpoints.
Mike Ontry
As we take time to figure out how to conduct party business appropriately absent the website, I would like to take a second to keep Mike Ontry in our thoughts. While I'm sure he's fine, Mike is probably the most dedicated player I've seen in this game. He's done so much for this party. So, while we hope that everything is alright, I'd ask that you keep him in your thoughts and send a prayer or two his way. Just in case.
It’s been a busy 3 days, WTP.
I’m ommiting the talks about taxes and blacklists for the time being, for brevity’s sake. To provide a TL
😉R- Taxes are going down, blacklists are being lifted.
Feel free to PM myself or any members of the delegation about our voting records or if you would like to get involved in Congress. Also, all WTP members who INSURGIO~ this or sign off on the above statement get two tanks.
We’ll be in touch. Thank you,
Hale26

First for all the amazing support we received this cycle and a hopeful resolution to our tensions with the Fed PP and their delegation.

(sorry... stupid spelling mistakes)
Not that the feds are endorsing sunshines past actions by running him, but if running him for congress means this, how dare you run oblige? sunshine did things to wtp yes, oblige did things to the eUSA....
What things exactly?
come on, you know what I'm talking about.... do you really want to rehash this here? You've been left alone, as has sunshine... leave it that way don't dredge this up... do yourself a favor....
"tensions with the Fed PP"
Tenshibo tells me the sexual tensions will never be resolved.
I hope Mike's alright. I don't hear a lot from him, but he's helped me out with some great tools.
That is our exact thought about sunshine. Thank you to Hale for writing this article.
We are solid.

/me love-pokes Hale26.
...as the top five merge into one. At least you'll try and provide some comic relief for the taxed class.
The WTP interpreting the Feds actions as a slight is laughable, and the preachy message I received from Hale more so.
The Feds would appreciate not being told how to run or party.
So you endorse Sunshine's actions?
Absolutely not, Sunshine's actions were pretty shitty.
BTW, Clearly the Feds are not culpable for Sunshine's actions. Think of it more as harboring a fugitive.
No, we're not harboring a fugitive. We're playing an online game with someone who did something obnoxious. He's doing party work, so we put him near the bottom of our congress list. We get a lot of people in, he got in.
A lot of members left of the ever-dwindling eRep community are far from perfect. Sunshine is pretty par for the course, and if our running him was an issue, and the WTP had sent us a message asking us to change our list, chances are we would have because we respect our party's relations.
What's not respectful to those relations is waiting until after the election then "publicly condemning" a large percentage of active eAmericans. Hell, we didn't actively condemn the SFP as a whole because that's crazy generalizing. If you're going to condemn anyone, condemn Tenshibo and I for making the list, however, we made it transparently, and this is the first I'm hearing that's it's a problem.
Hope that clears up our side of this 🙂
I know exactly where you stand now.
yep.
So we can't tell you how to run or how to party... what CAN we tell you to do? 😛
To left foot left stomp, right foot right stomp, cha cha real smooth.
You know, those type of things you can tell us to do 😛
Also, shoot, this was a good change to reference Kanye West and say You Can't Tell Us Nothin :/ RIP
Everybody clap your hands!
*clapclapclapclapclapclap*
this is laughable. So when it's Paul's party you can't tell him what to do. But when it's SFP, Paul can tell you what to do.
We just have to change the Constitution Tom, it's really not a big deal. They're hardly telling us to do anything.

Cool, I got a forfeit point.
Anyway Tom Cauchon, to reiterate, what's laughable is that you ascribe me motives to create a false narrative of hypocrisy.
I never supported forcing the SFP to change their constitution. You can't just conflate everyone you dislike with me. The only national restraint I view that party's should follow is not running Congress peeps who are going to violate IES. (That's not identifying a situation, just a general belief).
But whatever, ascribe whatever beliefs you want to me

How many times have you gone missing/inactive while being PP? I'll wait.
He's probably still done a lot more than you 🙂
lol... let's be real.

Cool stuff, Hale. Love the article 😁
Mike Ontry is fine. He plays Dirty Bomb on Steam all the time.
