Yesterday, I presented Canada with my serenade and a little penetration for good measure. Today, I offer you my resume and plans for the next month should you honor me by electing me your President. For the month of September I plan on putting forward an ambitious agenda that will rebuild our infrastructure, provide an active and responsive government, and make us new friends for our future together.

Domestic Issues



The Economy, Taxes, & Budget:
My goal in this area is to make Canada as appealing to business owners and international commune holders as possible. My goal is to set our tax rates to 1% across the board to attract more products to our market, and more businesses and workers to our nation.

My plan for the budget is simple, a portion of the budget will go to fund Canadian MUs based on the number of weekly fighters each unit has. The remainder will go towards supporting our MPPs and building a surplus fund to be dispensed in times of national emergency. All other government programs that may require funding will be funded by charitable donation.



Immigration:
With the active Canadian population reduced due to the wipe I plan on working with Congress to open up immigration to friendly nations. More open immigration combined with low taxes will help bring back some of our e😜ats and hopefully help attract some new active members to help bolster our community.

To help promote emigration to Canada I plan on starting a Tourism and Immigration campaign to encourage members of friendly nations to visit our forums, our irc chan, and hopefully join our community. This will be accomplished through articles placed in foreign media, forum postings in friendly nations, and through irc outreach.

Education:
New players are the lifeblood of any nation, and Canada is no exception. My goal for the month is to have an operational Ministry of Education that publishes articles explaining how to successfully play the game to new players. I’m also planning to establish programs that encourage new players to join our forums and irc channel.



Propaganda/Outreach:

I believe that no matter what a President does he will not be successful without communication and entertaining propaganda. We all know a Country President does a lot ,or at least should do a lot (I’m looking at you Oinyo 😛), but a successful President wins over the hearts and minds of the people. It’s not enough to just do the job as CP, you must be able to talk to the people, explain your decisions, and if necessary convince them that an unpopular decision is the best decision.

If you could not tell from my announcement, I love media. Effective media and communication will be the goal of my administration from Day One. Not only will I write articles communicating what is going on in the administration, but I have selected a Canadian I believe will be able to effectively handle the job. I will announce that person next article with the rest of my Cabinet.

Part of my administration’s goal will be providing the people and parties greater access to the government. I will be inviting the Top Five Party Presidents to participate in my administration as advisors to provide greater transparency to the parties and their members. I will also be inviting Canada’s top MU COs to act as military advisors to my administration to ensure cooperation and the dissemination of information vital to battle planning.



International Issues



Foreign Affairs:
If I am elected President we will not join an alliance in the month of September, instead we will focus on building our relationships with our current allies and expanding friendships to other nations. I plan on assigning Special Envoys to nations with whom we hope to build better relationships. I plan on focusing on MKD, Albania, eUS, Brazil, Russia, Germark, and Bulgaria.

Foreign Affairs is one of the areas I know I can help Canada prosper. I have an extensive network of foreign friends and contacts. One additional goal for foreign affairs this month is to work on rebuilding our Brolliance with the eUS.



Military/War:

Canada will honor our NAP with Spain, and for the next month we will fight to help our allies and potential allies. My goal is to show our friends and potential friends what a valuable ally Canada be when we are called upon to help. By proving we can be good friends and allies we will make new friends and allies.

As stated in budget section I will be helping all Canadian MUs with funding to help them recover from the hardships they underwent during our extended wipe. I will also be directing my Ministry of Defense to publish military priorities on a daily basis to help ensure Canadian MUs and citizens are aware of our military objectives.



If you decide to elect me your President, this month will be one of communication, growth, and development for Canada. I shall bring you greatness, my beloved Canada, all I ask for in return is that you let me love you.
