[Boh4CP] Policy Discussion

You read it correctly, Boh4CP. I am returning to the top spot again with a better attitude and having learned from last time.

The focus seems to be revolving around the NHS and retention schemes this month, last time I ran the big issues were Training Ground Loans and Orgs two issues my government resolved leaving you with your shiny loans and ability to get profit out of Orgs.

Anyway, I know no-ones going to read a long list of political stuff, so I will just mention my main policies and leave you all to it!



Cabinet:

My cabinet will depend in size entirely on the quality of applications, although there are 5 senior posts: vCP, Minister of Defence, Home Secretary, Minister of Finance and Minister of Foriegn Affairs. Under then will be various deputies and under Ministers as needed.

Domestics:

Right, onto the first major topic.I will be merging Health and Home Affairs together into the Home Office run by the Home Secretary. This will comprise of the under-Minister for Health, the under-Minister for Education, the under-Minister for Community and the under-Minister for Communication.

The primary areas this Ministry will focus in are:

- revamping the NHS
- increasing communication by sending more messages to the whole nation
- creating a large team to assist where needed
- more state run community based initiatives, such as games, quizzes and the like.
- regular guides

National Health Service

This deserves a little more explanation, the Domestics are largely the same as last time bar more kicking of lazy bums into messaging.

For revamping the NHS I intend to adopt primarily Iain Keers’ model for the amount of food sent to players each week in order to avoid burnout of workers.This includes sending messages with guides in order to stay on the program. Hence the need to merge both Home Affairs and Health together to streamline the communication from government to those benefiting from free food. We also be focusing on retention in other ways, particularly in the form of ‘missions’ for new players thereby completing them they receive a reward. This model has been shown to be effective for eAustralia in the recent past however, they lack from as large a community as we have here. The system is run by an expat, so I don’t want to hear Colonial jokes!

Foreign Affairs and Defence

Two important Ministries, and we have the age old Irish question. I intend to pretty much run our Foreign Affairs as we have been doing, although I will be reviewing our MPP situation and cutting those we no longer need as far back as we can do while still maintaining our commitments to TWO.

There will also be discussions with the Ministry of Defence and Military Units on ways to co-ordinate our Mobile damage and the best way to utilise Combat Orders.

Finance

Not much I can say here other than I intend to save money where I can and continue to keep things pretty much as they are.
