[ADP] PP Re-election Pitch.

Day 3,065, 04:18 Published in Australia Cuba by Dread Pirate Hobbits

G'day!

I'm here to announce my intention to re-contest the ADP presidency. While my two competitors are relative unknowns, I've chosen not to be lax, so here is a spiel on what has happened in the past month, and what you can expect in the future.

We furnished an excellent policy on the Border Farce, and I'm currently in discussion with the Immigration Minister Stojke and the other Party Presidents. I believe we're close to reaching an agreement. The Party Room will continue to be updated on any developments.

Food Drops have been run weekly, although there hasn't been as much participation in comments as I would hope, so I'm going to try a few different things next month, maybe some competitions like the puzzle and writing ones Wacha ran a few months ago, or like the one Jack Jockson ran recently. I'm open to ideas.

The idea of a party constitution was briefly raised by one member, but got lost in the other discussions. There is an old Wiki entry so that's certainly something we could revisit.

Senate Preferences were decided on first come, first served, as promised if the "empty chair" won the PP election. Next month, however, they will be decided on the order of who I have seen contributing the most in the combination of senate threads, forums, newspaper discussions, and the party room discussions - I already have a running tally, and don't worry, It doesn't matter if I don't agree with you, or if your comment is something as simple as \o/

Well probably not that different. Expect the same high level of activity from the party executive, especially in public debates, expect more opportunities to participate in your party, and expect the spanish inquisition.

Actually, nobody expect the spanish inquisition. Last I checked we were still on quite good terms with our amigos next door to MEK headquarters.
