As You might have seen, a lot of resistance wars have been started in the countries of ONE by EDEN/Terra. In this article I try to give a (regurarly updated) account of them.

I want to point out a few things: first of all, most of the RWs have been started after erepublik time 15:00, ie around midnight in Europe. As ONE is basically an european-based alliance, this is a clear disadvantage for them. Second, some of the regions are very important because they provide the connection between the capital region and the resource regions (eg. Bavaria, Lorraine). Finally, the two superpowers, Poland and Serbia (300+ million influence/day) can easily win the RWs, while Hungary, Republic of Macedonia and Spain (around 200 million inf/day) have difficulties. The new EDEN HQ showed his teeth, the question is how the so-far superiorly-organized ONE will manage this threat.


HUNGARY:



More details on Hungary: Hungary must secure Burgenland and Bavaria if they want to further enjoy the advantages of their resource colonies. As China shortly will be be wiped out, the hungarian goverment is going to declare USA as natural enemy, so Hungary can not change it for at least 7 days. If Burgenland was liberated, then Austria could NE Hungary (update), however, it would take 48 hours for Hungary to reobtain Burgenland (first 24 hours: NE vote, 24-36: Austria attacks Hungary and loses the battle, 36-48: Hungary conquers Burgenland). If Bavaria was lost, then the situation would be more interesting. Nowadays, Germany is an enemy of Hungary, so the previous trick can not be done. But there is Deutschschweiz... Aquitaine and North Carolina link the european and north american parts of Hungary, so the loss of even one of them would interrupt the transatlantic connection. In addition, the liberation of the former/latter would imply the loss of oil and rubber/oil bonus.

Burgenland is liberated and Austria declared Hungary as natural enemy. Meanwhile, Croatia NEd Austria and Slovakia also. Croatia's purpose is to break free of their cage. As Slovakia was faster, she could attack Austria first. If the attack is sucessful, then Croatia will probably NE Slovakia. Prekmurje is the only croatian region which neighbors Austria (Croatia got it after the croatian-serbian peace treaty), therefore it is not surprising that a resistance war is going on.



China, in order to evade the wipe-out, liberated Jiangsu, a region surrounded only by hungarian occupied regions. The ONE opened an RW in Anhui, because there is no chinese-hungarian war, so after liberating Anhui, Poland can attack Anhui and Jiangsu, while Serbia finishes the job in Guizhou and Chongqing.
