First an Announcement!

After 2 months as Chief of Staff, I will be stepping aside and turning the desk over to a strong lad with very capable hands, so I can focus on just the Minister of Defence side of things more. I inherited the position of CoS with things in a heap on the floor of O'Malley Hall. With the help of Darragh, an initial plan was put in place, this grew into a strong foundation under the great work of the IDF Officers over the next 2 months.

I would like to thank all COs and XOs that served under my command. Cheers!

On to the big news!

With all that self promotion done, our new Chief of Staff will be the great Nithraldur.

Yesterday I had the chance to get Nith moved into the office and familiar with our Command Structure. We will be committed to communication under our administration of duties.

Communication Structure

IRC
We have had good success using our IRC Channel #IDFSupply. Many people, including myself, enjoy IRC for it's ease of communication. Supply is also possible and having decent success, but planning and general chat is what we will mainly use it for. I would like to get away from soldier supply on there, as there is a better way to handle it that is accessible to all.

DoD Chat Room
While it can be a bit cluncky and awkward there are many benefits to this avenue of chat coordination. The main benefit is in secure and organized supply. All Supply Will Now Be Done From Here

It can easily be reached by going to the Irish Department of Defence Org and clicking on the chat room link at the bottom. Be sure to add it to your Chat Room Faves for easy reference.

If you have any change left over from Deployments or eVacations, please consider donating it to the DoD. It will go to the betterment of the IDF and ultimately the Republic's Coffers.

I am working on implementing the minor tweaks needed to improve overall function. I will have in depth information on the forums HERE.

A big addition is the position of Supply General. Our Command welcomes Caladbolg who has accepted the position. As 'QuarterMaster' the basic function of S.G. is in aide of the CoS in coordinating with COs and keeping account of DoD Supply.

General Readyness

While action in the eWorld has slowed in pace, we will remain ready to help our Allies and BROs. Ireland's Minister of Foreign Affairs is a Commanding Officer within our ranks and will keep us updated on action as it develops. Santiago Hortez brings his A+ Game to the table.

Any Soldiers that need a little boost to their wellness are encouraged to report to Paschoall through the Ministry of Health. The MoH can help you with a plan to maintain proper health and provide gifts to help get you on the right path. He can also help with employment opportunities as well.
