CP Update - NAP, MPPs, Region Rent

Good morning eAustralia,

Today's CP update will be a quick one, since different departments have been releasing their own updates already. But I will still touch on a few things here and there.

MPPs

The DoFA released an article a few days ago speaking about our latest MPP renewals and also new MPPs. I would like to say thank you to the DoFA team for reaching out to different countries and bringing us closer to them. While some countries we have spoken too, will not be signing an MPP, they have offered to assist us in a time of need if required.

Region Rent

Chile paid there rental fee plus taxes a few days ago.

I would like to say Thank You to the Chilean team who have always managed to pay rent on time and have made the process smooth and trouble free.

During the conflict Chile had with USA, the rented regions were liberated, which brings me to my next topic.....

NAP with Chile

Due to this RWing of the rented regions and other geo-political influences, Australia and Chile have decided to put on hold any further region renting until further notice. This does not mean our friendship will suffer, instead we will move back to the NAP, we had signed months ago. We will also be continuing to keep all communication lines open and ensure we build on the good relations we are having.

Australia and Chile keeping this NAP going is good for both countries. It provides us both with an understanding that we will not be in direct conflict, but also shows and understanding that even if we find that we are fighting against each other due to MPPs, we will still keep communication and friendship open. This modern mindset is very good for our region and helps keep regional stability which will allow Australia to grow as a country.

Nebula

As you might of noticed when reading the above article, there is an issue with the graphics. I am under the belief, that the hosting site is having some issues. If it is not resolved, I will be asking for submissions for a new graphic to be done up.
