Good Afternoon eAustralia,

Yes, I know I am not in the DoFA, but I hijacked their paper to tell you about our new NAP with eChile.

This NAP was talked about last term, but after discussions with our Chilean counter parts, with our Congress and theirs, we have come to an agreement that suits all parties.




NON-AGGRESSION PACT BETWEEN AUSTRALIA AND CHILE

Recognizing the improvements in the relations between our nations the
governments of Australia and Chile agree no to start new hostilities between our countries and to sign the following Non-Aggression Pact:

1. The signing countries agree not to start new hostilities between them and therefor won´t propose declarations of natural enemy or direct war or airstrike laws against each other.

2. The signing countries won´t start nor support any resistance wars in regions which are occupied by one of the signing states. Unless it is a pre-arranged region hand over/swap. This also includes regions which are being rented out eg. QLD with in Australia

3. Training wars between the signing countries won´t affect this Non-Aggression pact.

4. This agreement will be valid for one month from the date of signing and will be renewed as long as no signature state contradicts. Both countries will publish this NAP in their government newspapers.

PACTO DE NO AGRESION ENTRE AUSTRALIA Y CHILE

Reconociendo las mejoras en las relaciones entre nuestras naciones
los gobiernos de Australia y Chile acuerdan no iniciar nuevas hostilidades mutuas y firmar el siguiente Pacto de No Agresión:

1. Los países signatarios acuerdan no comenzar nuevas hostilidades entre ellos y no aceptar declaraciones de enemigos naturales o leyes directas de guerra o de ataque aéreo contra el otro.

2. Los países firmantes no comenzarán ni apoyarán ninguna guerra de resistencia en las regiones que sean ocupadas por uno de los estados firmantes, a menos que se trata de un cambio acordado de una región. Esto incluye regiones como Queensland que Australia alquila a otros paises.

3. Guerras de entrenamiento entre los países firmantes no afectan este pacto de no agresión.

4. Este acuerdo tendrá una vigencia de un mes a partir de la fecha de su firma y será renovado siempre que ningún estado se oponga. Ambos países publicarán este NAP en sus periódicos gubernamentales.

As you can see, this NAP is very beneficial to eAustralia. It allows us to know that our South East border is secure from hostile attack, it allows us to continue to build a friendship with an old enemy, it also ensures that Chile will respect our region rental deals with other countries, in particular our region rental deal with Peru.

Australia is now in a lucky position to know "almost" all our borders are safe from hostile action. To the East we have Chile and this NAP, to the West we have South Africa, a very good and long term friend, to the North East we have Peru, who have been very helpful over the past months and who are renting a region off us. The only questionable area is North, but from my latest correspondence with Indo, they have assured me that any NE towards Australia would only be for region renting issues (eg, Peru loses a region here) and they will communicate and time it with us.
