[WTP] BB vs TB

Day 2,776, 21:14 Published in USA USA by MrCarey
Good people of eUSA and fellow Party People! I bring you a special edition of Carey’s Tribune which includes an interview with both presidential candidates who have announced platforms thus far. The questions asked were similar in nature to make for an even as possible interview. These interviews were conducted by me on behalf of We The People. So, sit back and enjoy as both candidates gave some pretty solid answers.

First up, we have Beach Bunny

MrCarey: Ok, so to start things off...You've been playing this game for almost 3 years now. Why run for CP now?
BeachBunny: Well I would have a ran sooner but life always got in the way. Such as when I joined the Army and had to go to Basic Training and AIT. That took almost a year. Now though I am free. I have been working my little bunneh tail off for the last 6 months. This Country needs a CP that is willing to put in the work for her and not expect the people to work for the CP. I am that Bunneh. Basically the stars have aligned in RL and in eLife.

MrCarey: I also see you have obtained 420 battle hero medals. No small feat. I guess it's safe to say you have a thing for the military aspect of eRep?
BeachBunny: That I do. I feel that all the new players can attest to the draw of that little red button. It makes you oh so happy to see yourself pushing a wall or holding the wall for your country or even your allies. Its something I enjoy immensely.

MrCarey: And you're also in the USAF, a hot topic for sure. Do you have any plans or ideas pertaining to the USAF?
BeachBunny: I have spoken to Dinnyin on many occasions on what can and needs to be done for the USAF and as of this time I have no plans or ideas pertaining to the USAF. I am however expecting a heated discussion as to the funding of the USAF in Congress this month. So that is of course a topic to follow as well. I will still be working with the USAF leadership to see what I can do as a member as well as CP to help in anyway shape or form.

MrCarey: Fair enough. Obviously a decision will be highly dependent on the terms. You speak a lot about "FUNNNN" happening if you're elected. What kind of fun are you bringing to the eUSA?
BeachBunny: This is a game afterall. Without fun we all become fidgety. And we know what happens when we become fidgety. We start looking for fun elsewhere. FUNNNN will help with retention among other things. Now how do I plan to do that. Well that Big Red Button I was speaking of earlier comes to mind. I also have plans to bring back Joint Strikes. I also feel the Media aspect of this game brings fun as well to this game. So expect something from there as well.

MrCarey: Before I send you off to Bunny Land, one last two part question. What are your thoughts on Trekker's past two terms in office, and what do you plan on doing differently or carry over?
BeachBunny: His last 2 terms in office were great terms. How I judge a term is at the end of it I think what do I remember. Well I remember a training war with Ireland I remember some media and that's about it. Not to say that it wasn't a great 2 terms. But it didn't have that Wow Factor that wow that was fun. I want at the end of my Term or Terms people to remember that man that was fun. I of course dont plan on burning the country to the ground. But we need fun.

Next up is Tyler Bubblar

MrCarey: So to start things off. Those who read your announcement article know you feel you are a glutton for punishment. What drives you to make the decision to want to run for CP again?
Tyler Bubblar: Well I first started thinking about running in June. When Trekker decided he would seek a third term I shelved my plans as I felt a primary challenge to a fellow Fed was in poor taste. Really my motivation was to pick great people who deserved a chance and put them in a position to prove themselves

MrCarey: Fair enough. I see you have 223 Battle Hero Medals. I assume it's safe to say, that you - like your competitor - are quite into the military aspect of this game. The USAF has been a hot topic of past months, do you have any plans or ideas in mind, should you be elected CP?
Tyler Bubblar: Well not entirely. I just pick my spots in terms of bh I try to save my fights as best I can. In terms of USAF... I feel a bit bad for them. They have an outsider come in every 30-60 days promising to fix them, even though they're not fully aware of the situation. My plan is to message Dinnyin the USAF Operations manager (which I still need to do) and ask how I can help. What strengths, weaknesses, and issues do he and the other officers of USAF feel strongly about. I think they don't have anything wrong with them that a little positive media and consistency won't fix.

MrCarey: So in your most recent article, you revealed your cabinet which seems to be quite a diverse crew. Picking people from all different parties, some you've never even worked closely with before. How do you feel your choice in cabinet/executive compares with those previously?
Tyler Bubblar: Well this time around I feel a little more free to do what is best rather than what will be popular. In previous runs I tried to balance political picks with skill and role. This time it was all skill, role, and ensuring every group has someone included.
MrCarey: Wait a minute! Are you actually doing something different?!
Tyler Bubblar: I told someone the other day; “I don't "need" this. I've won CP. I just want to help and I feel that I can.” So I am approaching this a little different than I might have in the past.
MrCarey: Gotchya. I totally understand what you're getting at.

MrCarey: One last question before I send you off. It's two parts.
Tyler Bubblar: Sure thing.
MrCarey: What are your thoughts on Trekker's past two terms in office, and what do you plan on doing differently or carry over?
Tyler Bubblar: Trekker asked me to critique his tenure in office in my Fed forums Q&A. Trekker is good at telling people what he's doing. He's struggled a bit in telling people why he's doing it. What the thought process was behind the decisions. He's much more approachable and affable than I am if I'm honest with myself. My plan is to not just inform but to make every effort to engage Congress, and the eUSA people. I'll do my best to carryover his approachable administration though.

Hopefully this combination of interviews will help you better decide which candidate is the one for you, and the best choice for our nation. If you were already decided, perhaps this solidified your decision or even changed it. Until next time, take care and roll on.
