Hypocrisy is in the air
Dio Akira
Reading an article wrote, I suppose, by a real Japanese that ask about language in eJapan isn't Japanese but english, I got a point to open a debate.
I read comment like
Hitoshi Makoto 36 minutes ago
Frankly, the English Speakers built this country. There isn't a point in converting Japan to full Japanese as Reiji said, if many have to use an olnine translator to read the Japanese. Point is, the active, 'important' (for lack of a better term) people are all English speakers. That's just how the country works.
Focalize on:
Point is, the active, 'important' (for lack of a better term) people are all English speakers.
So people here aren't real japanese so why and I ask WHY JAPANESE come in every eSK articles to say us that "you aren't real koreans" and "you destroy culture and tradition in eSK" when in eJapan "the active, 'important'people are all English speakers" so not real Japanese? Anyone said nothing about that? And mostly if we must leave because we aren't koreans why you all are in eJAPAN abusing of a country that want, according to what you said to us, their language back and their tradition back?
Hypocrisy is in the air.

Voted.
"real japanese" PWNED
BECAUSE YOU ARE THE EVIL! ALL OF YOU! YOU DESTROY A eNATION! YOU PTO (sound like ptù) A COUNTRY WITH LEGITIMATE ELECTION BUT YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS PTO THE SOUTH KOREA AND CONTROLL IT AGAINST THE REAL eSK PEOPLE! SHAME ON YOU AND SHAME ON MCERON C*LO
😘
Is this where the all the 'silent leggy' spam starts as usual?
Vasa vana plurimum sonant
I'm Japanese in real life and speak English. Is there a law against this? I also speak Japanese, Chinese and a myriad of other languages. I'm a linguist. Is that wrong?
Now I don't agree with Mr. Makoto's words at all. I have long advocated the use of the Japanese language and have always peppered my articles with bits of my first language. Although the fact of the matter is that most eJapanese don't read Japanese as well as they read English.
That doesn't make them any less Japanese. Just because one is not a Japanese person in real life does not mean they cannot be Japanese in eRepublik.
If that's what you think we mean when we say you aren't 'real Koreans,' you need to reassess the situation.
Now, I encourage everyone to chant the following with me: 兵不厭詐
兵不厭詐!
兵不厭詐!
兵不厭詐!
Come on, it's fun.
no vote for you!
幸せな google 🙂
Japan was a close society until 2 centuries ago...they learn to open their minds by the force...by USA force exactly.
Vox populi, vox dei!
I'm not sure if I want to spam back at them with better Latin or with Japanese phrases. I'm fond of 兵不厭詐, but 'vox populi, vox dei' seems like a good counterpoint to their Theocratic message.
@Reiji: do you prefer "vox meum, vox dei"?
Dio - we live in eJapan and japanese blood may be in our (there are more real japanese people, than real theocrats, than real ANYONE in your group) veins, but you - theocrats - have no own country, have nothing on your own. Except idiocy and hypocrisy.
Dio Akira is absolutely right. Some people do arbitrarily decide who and who is not a "real" for their own benefit.
It is a simple as this for me - we chose to play eRepublic here and so we wish to rule and improve the region. Everyone is welcome to take part and work with us as we lead eJapan to a bright future.
The oppressive Theocrat version of playing the game is not something we are interested in, and so we have conflict. We do not wish to have "Dio"s call the shots forever, we just want people do get things done.
The world of Hitoshi Makoto do not speak for eJapan. We welcome Japanese contributions... even if my translation software didn't work on Reiji's.

Chanting clusters of hexadecimal numbers sounds a litle bit weird to me. But dunno. Maybe my native language is the problem. Maybe I have to find something to drink, or smoke...
Broken record.
"I'm cool because I can say phrases in Latin."
SILENT LEGOLAS BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN
or something
eJapan is mostly dominated by English speaking communities, although there has been some active RL Japanese players, who have built this nation as well.
But of course, Reiji's plans are absurd by nature as always, and Frog is not the best source of your information, although there is truth to some of his argument.

People actually in Asian countries would understand what this is.
I'm actually in an Asian country where imageshack is blocked by the government so...
I don't speak for Japan. I speak for myself. I am not an ambassador. It is my opinion and my opinion alone that the English speakers built this country. Japan and I have different ideas.
Btw. Thanks for putting me in the news. I do enjoy publicity.
兵不厭詐!
If a Japanese person actually joins the game the come to eJapan. I don't know if half attempts to include them useful to them. For some a little eikaiwa may be a draw. but you are not here for raiding the resources you should probably be here for the local culture which is set up for people who would say they are from a country and a province.
It is not a bad idea to add corean language programs to the theocrat suggested reading materials list. Most groups that continue to exist thrive on recruitment. Don't be surprised if they are eternally resentful if not actively included. or worse yet eternally don't play.
Please don't take one persons opinion as a whole countries thoughts. Japan varies a lot, and we have a variety of people who think a variety of things... usually.
Oraizan makes an excellent point that I hadn't thought of before.
Dio Maksas thinks that Hitoshi Makoto speaks for all of Japan, because in his Theocrat world, there is no free thought. Every word is the word that they've been forced by Theocracy to say.
It is not that way in Japan. We are independent thinkers. We have freedom. Learn that, Dio Maksas.
i laugh just a little bit inside everytime I see these theos saying eCitizens should have ties to the RL counterpart to be "real citizens"
btw, I'm RL South Korean, WITH South Korean citizenship, not just ethnic. 한심한 인간들이구만...
*chuckles*
eJapan rules no matter what nationality the citizens are. The Theocrats are just confusing, do you speak English, Italian, Russian or Korean?
