PEACE EMBARGO

Earlier today, President Scrabman, in conjunction with our ATLANTIS allies, has initiated a plan to ensure a progressive economic weakening of the PEACE forces around the globe. On the main eRep screen after log-in, you will see under the Latest Events column that the President of USA proposed to stop the trade with Indonesia. What this means is that the eUS will no longer import or export any manufactured goods as well as raw materials with eIndonesia for an unspecified amount of time. This is just the beginning of a planned schedule of Embargoes that will be implemented in the coming weeks against nations who affiliate themselves with PEACE. The Embargo Plan is being implemented by other ATLANTIS nations as well in a joint effort to stop PEACE's advancements. The President would like to state that these Embargoes may have a short-term negative impact on the eUS economy, but there are backup plans already being implemented to deter said negative impacts. The eUS will virtually not be effected by these Embargoes in the medium-long term window. PEACE, however, will feel the impacts in the short term and potentially in the long as well.

Anyone who is trading with eIndonesia needs to pull their products off the market before this passes or they will be trapped there for a month and they won't be able to use them!!! AGAIN, if you have an Organization that is trading with eIndonesia, YOU MUST PULL YOUR PRODUCTS OFF THE MARKET ASAP!!!

MILITARY SUCCESS

Despite mass chaos on the Article Boards on the main eRep site and an unplanned Resistance War (War Games) in Baja on Saturday, the eUS successfully deterred PEACE from invading Croatia, an ally, with very impressive results. The Vojvodina territory of Croatia has been secured by Croatia, along with 8 allies including the eUS, from an attack by eHungary. The Resistance War in Baja was started by eMexico and the eUS does believe that it was an honest mistake. No treaty violations will be imposed as Baja was successfully secured... and secured very impressively.

In a report on Military Effectiveness by President Scrabman, seen HERE, the eUS Marines have proved on a grander than expected scale of what they are capable of. Below is a list of the most impressive Marines who managed to do more than 10k damage in less than 3 minutes of battle:

SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE ELECTIONS

With a new Congressional Term, the 17th, just beginning it's session, Kyle321n will be stepping down from his duties after two months as the current SoH (The term for SoH is 2 months). The White House would like to thank Kyle321n for two long months of hard work strengthening the Congressional Forums, bringing order to the Congressional machine and implementing change that ensure all Congresspeople are active in all aspects of the Legislative Branch.

Later today, a new SoH will be elected as voting is currently in session. The candidates are as follows:

1) Cromstar, Pennsylvania (CvP) Entering Congress 3 terms ago as a Freshman Congressman, Cromstar has managed to set a high precedent for himself through his work helping new members of Congress and helping to found the multipartisan group known as RightCon.

2) Killing Time, Arkansas (USWP) KT is a 4 term Congressman who, through hard work and solid initiative, brought the eUS Forums to life. Killing Time created and maintains the eUS Forums that of which Congress does their work and where the eUS can go to connect with each other via the IRC Chat and the boards.

3) Claire Littleton, New Jersey (LI😎 Claire is a 2 term Congresswoman who managed to secure the position as Secretary of Voting as well as Deputy Speaker of the House under Kyle321n's 16th Congressional Session. She also just so happens to write the very WHPR that you are currently reading as White House Press Secretary.

The White House would like to acknowledge each Candidate as a hard working, dedicated and well qualified Senator who would undoubtedly be a positive asset to the overall governing body of the eUS. President Scrabman looks forward to working with the new SoH and the new 17th Congress immediately. On behalf of the White House and President Scrabman, congratulations to all 52 Senators elected and good luck to the extraordinary three in the running for SoH!

CHIEF OF STAFF RESIGNATION

It is my sad duty to report that Tiacha, the Chief of Staff, has resigned from her duties this past weekend. Tiacha was an invaluable asset to the administration and was due to fully serve out her term until May 5th, however personal circumstances forced an earlier departure. President Scrabman and the rest of us at the White House would like to personally say thank you, Tiacha, you will be missed. We all wish you the best in all you do.

There has been no official replacement of Tiacha as of yet, however, the Administration has taken on shared duty.
