With the Party President elections coming up, I’ve decided to test my skill as an interviewer/ political analyst. In this article I will publish and analyze (to the best of my ability) interviews that I had with different candidates for the Libertarian PP position. Those candidates are: NIKAN, Chickensguys, Darrel Anderson 2 and Jamarcus. Each candidate was asked the same questions as the other, although some candidates received extra questions based on their replies to the interview questions. So without further ado here are the interviews, presented in order of how soon each candidate responde😛

Interview with Chickensguys
What makes you qualified to lead your party?
My Qualifications: 3 Term Top Adviser under Glove and Blank Keating, Deputy Sec of Defense/Battle Coordinator. I'm in #whitehouse everyday. I'm extremely active and have been part of the party for many months.

What do you believe are the problems your party currently has?
The Party is currently in 5th place so that needs to be adjusted promptly.

What would your goals as party president be?

I would increase recruitment efforts and ensure "Alarm" aka Milita is up running. I would also work towards congressional elections. We did fairly poorly the last few times. We need some organization.

What changes would you make and what actions would you take to change your party for the better?
I wouldn't make any changes I would just add stuff to the original idea.

Can you please elaborate on how you would increase recruitment efforts and what you would add to the original idea?
Well Recruitment and the Militia which will go into effect in this coming term go hand and hand. Much like the Ultra Marines that blossomed into a success we plan to build on the community through actives. We have many half active players and if we just get them involved more they can spread the news about the party. Also we will keep pming people and the normal ****.

Since I'm in #whitehouse every day if I ever need help I have the entire United States Cabinet willing to help. What I meant by adding was implementation of Alarm, High recruitment, and better Organization skill to make a dent in congress this time around.

What do you think of the other candidates for Party President?
Niki/Lover has done a lot for the party and I appreciate that.
Darrel has not done too much and has no business running.

All in all, Chickensguys seems to be an active and experienced party member. His past experiences in the eUS government make him a qualified and strong candidate for Libertarian PP. His primary concern for the party is recruitment, as he sees the Libertarian party in crucial need of new party members to strengthen the party. His campaign is mostly based on the need for recruitment, his past positions in the eUS government, and his contacts in the eUS government.

Interview with Jamarcus
What makes you qualified to lead your party?

I have lead several parties over the years as a multi-term PP, CoS, Election Director, etc. I have the experience to do the job and represent our party well.

What do you believe are the problems your party currently has?

The main problem is activity. This is largely do to the invasion, as national activity has also dropped

What would your goals as party president be?

1. Increasing activity (on the Forum, IRC, and in-game)
2. Increase in-party Communication
3. Increase political competitivness

What changes would you make and what actions would you take to change your party for the better?

One thing that I would like our party to start doing again is having fun. Having fun is the greatest motivator for players to log in and hang around. We need to learn how to have as much fun as the classic UIP, but at the same time, be just as organized and effective as the Feds. We'll have to brainstorm on how to accomplish this in the long-term. I would also like to see our party newspaper start spitting out articles on a regular basis again, and our members being more active in our media.

Do you have any ideas on how you are going to try to increase activity?

I have a few abstract ideas, but I really want to put it to the party so we can come up with the best idea or ideas, and bring them into fruition.

What do you think of the other candidates for Party President?

We have several good candidates in the race. I would love to see some of them serving the party along with me and making all our goals a reality.

Where do you see your party going in a month?
It all depends on where our country in a month. Do we make significant gains against ONE? Do we take a few steps back? Or do we have very minimal progress? War drives the game, so we will just have to see.

Jamarcus is yet another good candidate for PP. He is just as qualified as Chickensguys, although he is more experienced in party politics. His campaign is based on increasing activity among party members to make the Libertarian party stronger. Although I’m sure he also wishes to recruit more players into the party, his main goal seems to be to increase activity and fun to keep players motivated. His wish is to restore the Libertarian Party to the party it once was.

Interview with Darrel Anderson 2
What makes you qualified to lead your party?

I believe that I am the most qualified person to lead our party in its current state. I am 5 term Republican Party President [A former 6th Party]. When I first took office in the GOP the party was in complete disarray. It was very inactive and just suffered from a major PTO. But in my first month as PP I was able to place a full party cabinet, increase membership by nearly 50 new members, raise funds to start a party company and org. [No it doesn’t seem like a lot but it was for a fairly small party]. So as you can see I took what was once an inactive party, and made it booming!

Once the decision was made by the members of the Republican Party to merge with the ADTP[American Defense and Trade Party, formally the USLP today] I was named Party Vice President. As VPP I was tasked with managing the political department of the Party, which of course meant I organized the congressional races and the POTUS nomination process.

To conclude this portion of questions I would like state that my work in party politics was honored by President Frost in his administration. He appointed me to the position of Director of Party Support. This office was dedicated to ensuring that small parties had forums, IRC channel/channels, and had someone to help guide the party through its earliest stages of partyhood.

What do you believe are the problems your party currently has?

I believe our party is suffering from a major lack of activity. "So how do you plan on fixing this?" First things first we need an active leadership. Once we have a leadership team in place, and utilizing everyone’s talents in their specific areas we will commence with the largest recruitment drive in Lib history.

What would your goals as party president be?

My goals are very straight forward. 1- Set up a stable leadership team. 2- Raise membership 10-20%. 3- Increase our congressional team. 4- Set our party on a course for success.

What changes would you make and what actions would you take to change your party for the better?

As to changes, I must once again refer to placing a stable party leadership team [ex. political director, communications director etc.]. That would be my first major change. My second change would be to conduct all party business via forum, and have public meetings on the IRC. This would not only increase forum and IRC activity but also assist in the communications between the party member and the party leadership team. My final major change would be to require Lib Congressmen to take part in 1 town hall meeting and file one congressional report to the party. Because the party does a lot to get them elected, and we do a lot just to get them on the ballot. So it’s only fair if they return the favor by sharing with us what they have been doing in congress, and how they are helping our nation progress.

What do you think of the other candidates for Party President?
Hmm what do I think of my competition? In regards to my main competitors I believe they are all good guys. It has been my pleasure getting to know some of them, and an honor to have known one of them for quite some time. However I believe that I am the most qualified candidate in the race right now. Our party needs leadership, something that my competition cannot provide as effectively.

Darrel Anderson 2, just like the other candidates, is a well qualified and active candidate. Like Jamarcus he is experienced in party politics and has some experience in the eUS government as well. He seems to have a better rounded plan for the party than other candidates as he plans to raise recruitment and activity levels. His plans for change also address Libertarian congress members, which is a good thing, although I’m skeptical as to how cooperative congressmen will be when it comes to that.

Interview with NIKAN
What makes you qualified to lead your party?

I am a player with great experience, very active and eager for new challenges. I served many functions because I always give my best. Now, I have a goal to wake up this party.

What do you believe are the problems your party currently has?

We stand as the weakest party. We have only 1 congress member and inactive party forum. We were the great party of the revolution but this past month in congress was probably the worst I have seen. Libertarian Party is asleep so we need to wake up.

What would your goals as party president be?

This is my party, my love and my main goal. My main project is a military unit (A.L.A.R.M.). I want to create that unit and attract members with companies that will provide daily q3 food and q4 weapons for the battles along with some instructions. I have a few experts who will help me in this and I hope to achieve my plan. I want to be successful in elections like every other party president before and after me.

What changes would you make and what actions would you take to change your party for the better?

I want team work, cooperation and communication between the leadership and membership, joint initiative with new ideas. I plan to implement a number of programs to help keep the Libs busy and relevant. We can be amazingly successful if we put our minds to it.

What do you think of the other candidates for Party President?

I do not think about them. I wish them luck in the elections. I hope the voters recognize who to vote for. 😃

NIKAN is another candidate that I’m sure will make a fine Party President for the Libertarians. Judging from his medals, he is more experienced in national politics, although I myself cannot be sure if he has any party politics experience. He is an active player and is most concerned with the decline in the Libertarian Party’s activity levels and the weakening of the party in the past month.

Overall, the candidates for the Libertarian Party Presidency seem to be well qualified and have plans for increasing activity and party membership. Personally I do not endorse any of the candidates, although I wish them all good luck during Election Day and I hope that the candidate who becomes PP will turn out to be an effective leader.
