I never thought I'd be writing another article again and certainly not for something like this. NO PICTURES CUZ I'M A JERK.
I ENDORSE DENNIS MCVICKER. VOTE FOR DENNIS MCVICKER.
Once upon a time, there was the Libertarian Party. This was good.
Many of its greats left the game. I left for the summer of 2010. This was no good.
I came back and the Libertarian Party had become TAMA or something and then the ADTP. This was still no good.
For the next 3 weeks, I secretly plotted to take over the ADTP and remake the Libertarian Party. This was good.
And I was successful.
Before the USMJ was formed, Jude Connors came to me and told me his intentions. I gave him my blessing. This is, after all, a game, and a party based on marijuana seemed mostly in good fun.
Not long ago, I noticed I was in a party I don't remember joining. This was once more no good.
I notice how divisive the name is. I notice how much controversy it is causing. I notice how a decision to rename was made entirely by the "upper party leadership" after "so much deliberation" and I CALL BS. This is no good. No good at all. This is terribad.
Now someone I know to be a dedicated player and many times a great asset to the Libertarian Party is running for PP. Someone who has already created a gdoc polling the mass of the party for ideas on a new name. Someone great at opening lines of communication. Someone I'm proud to call my friend. Someone named Dennis McVicker. THIS IS GOOD!!!!
Vote Dennis McVicker for United States Marijuana Party, Republican Liberty Caucus, WHATEVER-THE-DEVIL-THIS-PARTY-IS-CALLED PP.
P.S. Chickensguys, should you read this, I know you. I know your tactics. I'm your friend on IRC but I have to draw the line there. I'll gladly help you with Xchat or other technology stuff, but in this game you've made a terrible decision. And if you pull something that is such a "Chickensguys maneuver" and rename the party from "Republican Liberty Caucus" to anything resembling a PTO warning and a plea to vote for Dutch Marley, I want you to know you'll have made me your enemy in-game. I want you to know that I'll vow to return to the active political arena. I want you to know that I'll run for PP of the RLC (or whatever it becomes after your dreadful tactics) and no amount of screaming about a PTO attempt will stop me from winning.
Play nice, Chickensguys... and maybe you should vote for Dennis McVicker and/or endorse him now. It might just save you.

Some people are telling me that I'm taking the game too seriously. ME?! They obviously don't know me!
They say I should just have fun! Really? Do they not realize that this IS fun? Being controversial IS fun.
What I don't find fun is clicking repeatedly to fight or saving up gold and zooks so I might have a chance at a battle hero.
Just leave me be. And I'll go back to being only two-clicker active in this game.
Shake it iasov, some of the best fun was playing poli in v1, even though it is universally accepted as a non-game to the young majority here.

Not convinced. Being endorsed by a guy who got banned for running multis may not be the wisest move.

@Ajay Oh it was more than that before all those other votes appeared. It was like 12 then. I've also gained about 20 subs (even though idgaf about a MM or the Media Module) so I think it's safe to say that I have ~32 actual votes? Cool!

@Norbengo Every candidate was a PTO candidate. Some of them even knew it. There were no good guys this time around.
Emma, use 'who' when the subject of the sentence is a person or people. Barley is a primary ingredient in beer, but not sure is goes well in a statement where one's goal is to point out other people who* can barely* put a sentence together.

Actually the ADTP wasnt a bad group of guys... They just misplaced their trust in certain individuals who now count themselves as among the elites to steer the party for them.

Mr. Iasov, you might be interested in knowing that chickenguys sent mass messages to people outside the party, throwing out accusations that the RLC was being PTO'd and that the only way to protect a top 5 party was to switch parties and vote for Dutch. I don't know if this qualifies as "chickenguys maneuver" but it was definately chicken$#!+ in my opinion. Especially since it's nothing short of an outright lie.
Well Israel Stevens was talking about Ptoing the RLC. In addition to that I had several sources indicate to me it was a go. They are just pathetic and can't organize unless Oblige is helping.
/me retreats to the shadows in anticipation of next month's antics.
