FA My Take

Day 2,510, 19:46 Published in Canada Serbia by Nyx Lynx

Hey I should write more articles. But the game is Zzzzzzz. Everyone is quitting or whining. I will do the latter for now…

So I was going to vote for DMV3 in the elections before he stepped down. Now I am voting Rylde. Dozzer’s article seems to patronize the FA team that I was in and he mentioned that only klop and Shoi are fit to be in it. Not very diplomatic tbh 😛

DMV3 asked me to help him out with FA and I agreed. I take FA for granted.

Look at my friends list ffs. I am ashamed that I know so many people. Not really I love you all huehuehue 😃

Let me have some candid fun…

I think FA is one of the most overrated and overhyped module ever. Especially the ones in it tell you that it requires special skills. Not really…

It is usually the same bunch of people trying to recreate some old alliance that already has failed. The definition of insanity according to Einstein is doing the same things and expecting different results.

If someone recreates the same alliances again, I am going to declare a jeeehad on their a$$es and take over the world. It is pathetic and insufferable. There is a reason it failed, get over it and be creative and start something new.

Human beings have a tendency to get fixated on a substrate. This is also one of the reasons why we see people still playing this sad excuse for a game.

Ok what I am going to do in FA:

1. Ambassadors program

- Bring in new faces to FA scene. I am so bored of the oldies. They are annoying and predictable.

- I am ALWAYS SCREAMING about the power of DELEGATION. It is more efficient, saves time and incorporates people aka activity. F**K off if you expect me to do all the donkey work. 😃

- It will not make us dependent on only a few elites.

- Improves collaboration and friendship between countries

- A nation’s competence and overall quality is improved

2. Intelligence Gathering

- Sekrets, logs, grape vines, deploying spies

- Be a charming devil like me and have a load of good friends everywhere.

- FA with an edge! Hehe now you all want to be in FA, don’t you?

3. Transparency and Information Dissemination

- Updates in the media. Shoi is getting active. And I am also media-centered. So we will make a good team. And DMV is as usual making the most noise in the media

- You, my people, have the right to know. Demand information! Demand your rights! If I fail to write updates, I have no right to hold any position in office.

- Only a proper d0u(he would monopolize on a government position and not write updates. Don’t step up, if you are not going to let people know what you are doing or not doing.

- Withholding information is a strategy of insecure leaders to keep power.

4. Strategic FA

I always say this -> “FA and defense should go hand-in-hand”

You might think that is common sense and therefore it would logically be the thought process employed by everyone. But evidence points to the contrary.

If you look around the eworld, more often than not, there is a huge disconnect between the FA peeps and the defense peeps.

Decisions on where our damage is to be directed has to be made in tandem with our FA strategy. Enormous good will can be earned based on this.

You can collaborate with MUs all around the world and lead a campaign.

The better your defense is… the better leverage you can draw in terms of FA due to the military clout. Bigger nations always have the most say in anything, especially alliance talks.

5. Win-Win

FA according to me is not about kissing a$$. Lots of FA dip-low-mats think that kissing a$$ is all you need to do. It is needed, but meh who joins a game to kiss a$$ 24/7? It is embarrassing.

Ofc you might win some times because people like their a$$es to be kissed, but lots of them on the outside will be rofling at the pathetic behavior.

I would rather concentrate on the art of negotiation. It is a novelty on erep. It needs you to be tough.

I would not wait for an alliance to be created. I would be doing my homework on what would be my best alliance scenario and try to orchestrate it.

There are tons of other things that can be done. I have left them out because I don’t want to make the article tl;dr.

Summary:

1. Defense is probably the most important module for a growing country.

2. Do it strategically by having a good finance policy. Minimize costs and wastage.

3. Gain massive leverage through FA.

To top it all, have a brilliant story line and make it fun for people. We all come here to play the game not to hear stories about megalomaniacal strangers on the internet on how good they are at something. Who cares how good or bad you are? We need to have fun.

Canada

Canada has interesting people. Strong personalities is what I really like. This is a game ffs. Make it fun!

For some reason erep has the ambience of a funeral parlour. Many act like uppity, poncey, boring office workers.

Teamwork

Also, don’t let CP do all the work. Poor guy will burn out in a month. This is a multiplayer game. Experience doesn’t matter. This game is not rocket science ffs. You can even train a chimp to play this game. And for some reason, I have a strong feeling that chimps code this game.

I remember once some uppity elite calling a new citizen a noob and was very dismissive of him when he offered some advice. I went on an infinite loop of facepalming myself because that guy was the COO of a big MNC. He left the game in less than a day.

Wise decision as you can expect from any truly successful person.

Regardless of who wins, Canada is ambitious. Canada needs fresh ideas and innovation. Canada can be an exception on erepublik.

So I wish good luck to both the candidates. Take charge and lead! Be a leader, a warrior!

Been there; Done that; and that,
