[WTP] Thoughts on Education Tools

Day 2,457, 16:12 Published in USA USA by Blande

Every day, tens of campaigns are waged which involve the eUSA in one way or another. Billions of influence is spent by our proud soldiers to bring about victorious results. This is translated into millions of eUSD and thousands of gold.

At the same time, thousands of citizens go to work to create the resources and finished products we need to satisfy are unlimited wants, resulting in tens of companies and newspapers being created. Even so, very few writers are born every day in eUSA. It is for this reason that the birth of new writers (like me) most be fully appreciated.

That said, it is time for us to move into the purpose of this article: Providing information on three key resources available to new and old citizens alike to help them succeed in eUSA. The three resources in order of importance (according to yours truly) are Gnilraps' How to Succeed in eUSA, The Department of Education's Erica, and last but not least eWiki

A quick look at Gnilraps profile is enough to convince you of his vast experience. Gnilraps' How to Succeed in eUSA is a masterpiece. It provides crucial information to all players on how best to navigate the complex country that is eUSA, both in-game and in the meta-game. It is a must read for every player starting out in the country (My 2 cents, it should be included in the President's Message to all new citizens)

Like most great works before it, How to Succeed in eUSA does not contain all there is to learn about the country, which leads us to Erica

Erica is a Department of Education (DOE) tool which provides helpful information on various programs in the eUSA, as well as specialized help to queries. Erica can be found under the INFO tab on the DOE's website.

Erica is an important supplemental tool which can greatly enhance the understanding of the game for players and hence their success. Even so, it does not contain everything there is to know about the game, which leads us to our final tool, eWiki.

eWiki is a labyrinth of information on the game. It is a dense network; difficult to navigate for a new player, but full of miscellaneous information which can be extremely useful in feeding the appetite of information hungry citizens. The complexity and density of eWiki makes it a resource to be used only after one has utilized the previous two and is reasonably comfortable with the game.

This completes the first article of the newest writer in town.

Till Next Time!
