This week kicked off eCanada’s first ever weekly writing contest. This contest chooses the best written articles from the previous week and hands out cash prizes to the top 3 winners. This contest was made as a way to get eCanadians writing in the media, and having them write quality articles. This week’s winners were as follows:

First - Cyber Ninja - This Week In Erepublik
Second - Xander Kross - Rylde’s Coup d’Etat (Comic)
Third - Phyren - Anti Dictatorship Manifesto

This week Rylde made an announcement that the airstrike that had been planned and saved up for would be cancelled until future notice. Even though it has been said that it was cancelled, articles are being released to find out more from the populus as to where they would like to see an airstrike attack.

This week there was a lot of hot debate over what should be done about the speaker. Some believe that the speaker hasn’t been doing his job and wanted to motion of no confidence to get rid of the speaker and find a new one. After the vote was not met, speaker DMV3 appointed Aries Prime as the new Deputy Speaker.

I am still interested in writing articles, but Mid Week Stats seemed to be the same thing each week, and effort was going in and nobody was benefitting.
