The Case For . . . National Greatness
Have you ever heard the rumor? But for a single vote in the early days of our fledgling real congress, all real Americans could be speaking German today! It's been said that even Ben Franklin supported the vote for German as our national language, but the German - born Speaker of the House Frederick Muhlenberg broke the tie which prevented a very imposing outcome.
Consider Germany's role in WWI, and subsequently in WWII. What if Frederick had not broken the tie? What if Germany had won WWII, along with the other evil leaders of the day? To be blunt, where would the world be today with Germany at the helm? Racism, genocide, Aryan nationlism, and on . . .
I invite all my readers to follow this link to the famous Canadian radio man Gordon Sinclair. Follow think link here: http://www.tysknews.com/Depts/Our_Culture/americans.htm Even in the early 70's, foreigners believed in the greatness of this country.
When I look at the rankings of our world powers within eRepublik, I have to to wonder: Where is our national greatness? eUSA is a force of good within eRepublik! As a member of eUSA, you are a part of that national pride!
Please read the Sinclair article, and send me your comments! Passion and patriotic fervor is intoxicating. Check your weapons, polish your brass, load the magazines - there's a war to be won, and our leaders need our help! Be part of a great country - be a part of greatness!
eChesty said it, and eChesty meant it. . . what say you?

The whole German national language myth is always pretty funny to think about, but also a bit interesting concerning WW2 since you brought it up. I found this article very enlightening when someone told me that same thing before. http://german.about.com/library/weekly/aa010820a.htm
On the main topic, it is always good to see people eager to serve the country! Excelsior!
A contre-temps, 'cause I'm waiting for the Houses:
The eUSA is not a country.
It is a team.
You can't die for this team.
The team shouldn't try to appropriate to itself, the accomplishments of real countries. That isn't patriotism; it is dishonest.
The team does not have a cause, noble or otherwise, nor is truth justice and God on the team's side.
Gordon Sinclair never suffered fools, ( 'cept sometimes if they wore a kilt and sporran)
With Germany at the helm today, Germany is a model of German culture, learning and beer.
Germany didn't exist in the 18th century.
A great team is not created, cultivated or inspired by transparent untruths.
Lebron will not be a traitor if he scores lots of baskets for his new team. Pffeifer and DMV ..... never mind.
Be proud of your team and what it has accomplished these past five years --- there is much to be proud of.
Write your history.
The whole german language thing is a bit of a red herring, it was only for our hatred of the vile Engish, as pionted out above germany was just a bunch of states themselves and easily connected though heritage. They (germanic tribes) were the ones to over-populate England in the first place. And not lastily, you think them fellows up in the hollows would care what language a revenuer spoke, hell no, they would shot at them no matter what language they spoke.
y u support bad guys?
Go back to your hole, Gimper... Nobody cares to see your pathetic trolling attempts. Besides, don't you havean episode of Barney to record for yourmom
V/S btw...
Actually without the reparations of WWI, the Nazis would have never seized power in Germany. So had the US not backed the UK the Nazis and the holocaust might have been averted.
