I. WATCH THE THRONE
By Hadrian X

HX:  Hey Tenshibo, what’s up?

Tenshibo:  Nothing much, had work today, went out for a bit just got back. Decently high [6].

HX:  So what’s the deal with this article you published about YuiMHCP001 before the recent elections? There was some stuff in there about Yui’s lack of effort and irresponsible spending of tax dollars.  I’ve been gone a long time and that was a lot of info.  In a nutshell, what’s the deal?

Tenshibo:  Reading my article helps answer this but Yui and I had a falling out, so when he ended up being a crap CP - and don't let revisionist's like Inwegen or Orik deceive you, Yui was a crap CP even for a slow month - I decided to call him out on it. I knew it wouldn't kill his campaign, that wasn't my goal. I was hoping that the part about tax dollars - Yui using 1million CC behind closed doors to get the elites the manticore - would get the BSP/SFP voters who actually vote to vote Derp because they'd see Yui as just another elite scum. Coupled with the rest of the leaks, I was attempting to paint the picture that is Yui is a puppet president who just does what he's told. And granted, that's not a bad thing necessarily, but he was lauded as the 2nd coming of Vanek, lauded as this hardworking all-star, I wanted to take him down a peg. Did I do it in a poor manner? Could I have done it better (better meaning for me, it still would've been a classic Tenshibo piece)? Sure. But, it happens, you know?

HX:  When was the last time you had Taco Bell while sober, and why?

Tenshibo:  Tbell sober..... damn, i'm not sure. Tbell's like a rarity in my life these days, they close at 2am on weekends and 1am elsewise, so like, i'm not normally out that way till like 3am. But sober, that'd require like, being out in the day and not at work/school..... so really i can't remember. I was probably in high school though so like, 4 years ago.

HX:  A bunch of people said all those conversations were private and said you violated their trust.  Does this make you the eUS version of Edward Snowden?  Are you Tenshibo Snowden and if so, will you flee to Russia or Hong Kong too?

Tenshibo:  Nah, Snowden leaked things out of a sense of justice, I did it to be #savage. And I ain't fleeing nowhere, certainly not Russia. WO's gonna get them wiped soon lol.

HX:  Other than yourself, who would you say has the most SWAG on eRep?  Who has the least?

Tenshibo:  Not sure who has the most, but notable mentions would be Aramec, A^2, Emerick, and Syrup. Least is Oblige, but Oblige is still fashionable, he just has no SWAG. The polar opposite of SWAG is probably like Franklin Stone.

HX:  What were you trying to accomplish with your article?  Obviously Derphoof didn’t get elected, but did you – at least in part – achieve any of your set goals with it?

Tenshibo:  I brought out into public Yui being shit, I achieved that. I didn't achieve in damaging his campaign, but it happens.

HX:  Who would you consider your eRep fam?

Tenshibo:  Evry, Israel, and Vanek at the top. Aramec's slowly squeezing his way in there, same with Paul. Honorable mention goes to Oblige and Pfeiffer, they're my gay-modern-family-dads that I always disappoint.

HX:  Some have said that your article, believed by some to be “negative campaigning” led to the tepid response to the primary results of presidential hopeful Derphoof, whom you publicly supported.  In your opinion, did your article help or hurt Derphoof in the party primaries or not have any effect at all?

Tenshibo:  It certainly hurt him, but people are overselling by how badly. Derp wasn't going to win the Feds. Period. BSP and SFP are unlikely to support an establishment candidate anyways, so they're out. So really all that left was WTP and USWP. WTP who knows what they're doing, so if I effected that one, whoopsie lol. Which leaves USWP. I certainly caused some damage there, but before the election, Inwegen and WO were already strongly in Yui's camp, as I'm sure other upper-members of party leadership were too. Pfeiffer claims to have been disapointed with Derp's effort in the campaign..... idk about that, I think pfeiffer's just huffing his fumes, cause Derp put in a lot of work. People close to it have stated Pfeiffer hopes to have more control over Yui this term, so Pfeiffer's probably just lying to make it seem like he didn't dick Derp.

HX:  What is your favorite ABBA song?

Tenshibo:  It's a tie between Dancing Queen - I've gotten white gurl wasted and sung this before - and Fernando. Some show I used to like had this song in it. Not sure what show it was though.

HX:  On IRC you mentioned a possible PotUS run.  Assuming you were serious about it, what would your platform be?  Also, who would your running mate be and why?

Tenshibo:  No idea. I mean, I don't really have plans, I just decide to do things and see what happens. I might run just cause it'd be funny, sort of like how im on the SoH ballot often. If I had a platform, idk, do something with Pacifica. It be cool to AS someone I guess. Sick of just ganging on Spain. I'm also in the camp that the USAF is past its time, and would like to get the discussion going to switch to a CO based combat system, so I'd probably get some top MU people together to hash out a potential plan for that, do a test run. No idea who my running mate would be, maybe Resoula for dat ezpz SFP support ElGiggle. Israel would be my CoS though. He already agreed to it.

HX:  What will you be doing 10 minutes after you finish this interview?

Tenshibo:  Pack the vape again, and just vibe out yo. I got some wheat thins dude, and they're bomb so gonna chill. Schoolboy Q dropped his LP today, Jay-Z has a new song out, as does Migos so I got some listening to do.

HX:  Thanks for your time Ten.

Tenshibo:  Later man o/

HX:  \o

II. FINISH THE THOUGHT

“Tenshibo's article _____.”

Pfeiffer:  “… was predictable and yet disappointing at the same time.”

Melissa Rose:  “…was unnecessary. He made his point without them, He had his opinion about Yui and he had every right to voice it but that's all that needed to be done. Prior to the leaks in the article, he had a well written article that looked like he'd put a lot of thought into it and had some valid concerns.  All the leaks accomplished were destroying himself and in some ways derp. It didn't harm Yui in anyway.”

George Armstrong Custer: "...was a deplorable betrayal of trust."

Paul Proteus:  “…was an event that slowed the inevitable march of ennui threatening to engulf us and made an incredibly boring browser game dramatic for a moment. Lives were lost, many more were ruined. I'm answering this question from a bunker in the post-tenshibo world.”

Ray of Sunshine:  “…was an honest assessment of Yui.”

Inwegen: "...did hold some weight for ultimately what was considered a bit of a slow and uneventful term for Yui. It was not stellar, but neither was the game as a whole while many nations kept things slow while waiting for the new mechanics to roll out. But, ultimately, the article was a hit piece and a low blow that did nothing but harm his candidate of choice, Derphoof. I find that not only unfair to Yui, but to Derphoof as well. While I was publicly in support of another term for Yui, I would not have had any problem with Derphoof either. They were both quality candidates and the election should have reflected that. Instead, we got a nasty article that tarnished the images of those involved. It's quite unfortunate and constructive criticisms could have been leveled instead of personal attacks."

Aramec:  “…was like the demise of a former robust political simulator reprogrammed by gypsies to be a thinly veiled cash scam: lengthy.”

Tyler Bubblar:  “…was Tenshibo being Tenshibo. Love him, hate him, or indifferent to him (I personally love him) he's got his own style of play and has been fairly consistent in his response to things or people he disagrees with. I sort of wish he hadn't leaked the PDB because it'll be difficult for many to trust him for a long time going forward. That said I have no doubt that sooner or later he'll bounce back because he always does.”
