[Stilpo] National Performance Poll

Day 2,011, 13:42 Published in Ireland Ireland by Stilpo

My fellow citizens,

Do you have an opinion about the current government? Or maybe you would like to win some gold? Perhaps both? Or just bored?

If so, we invite you to take a few minutes to fill out an independent and non-partisan government performance survey. This survey includes opportunities to evaluate:

1) The country as a whole
2) The CP
3) All head ministers
4) Congress as a whole
5) Individual members of congress (strictly optional)

In addition, this month’s survey includes an optional bonus section in which you will be able to rank Ireland’s best and worst CPs for each year throughout our entire history!

Because the timing is not right to evaluate party presidents yet, a second poll will be conducted in several weeks that evaluates the performance of individual parties, MUs, and alliances.

Gold prizes!
And, as always, to encouraging participation I am offering 10 gold in prizes to participants. Five randomly chosen participants will be awarded with 1 gold each, and one lucky participant will get the grand prize of five gold! Note: only current Irish citizens are eligible to win the prizes.

Winners of the brainstorming gold raffle include:

3 Gold: Shadowfang
1 Gold: Lord Scego
1 Gold: Eric.Murphy

Congratulations to the winners!

Survey program

Rather than using a simple Google Form like in the past, I have decided to go with a more professional program that I have some real-life experience with called “Qualtrics”. The advantages of this program are a more flexible user interface (I think you will like it), better analytics, and better security and fraud prevention. This program tracks metadata and will not allow more than one response per computer, so multis beware!

Anonymity

Although the program has built-in ways to combat multi fraud, we still require that you provide a link to your eRepublik profile in the survey in order to verify that you are an Irish citizen. This means that your answers are not technically anonymous. This is of course not ideal for an opinion survey, but in our judgment it is better than leaving the survey open to fraud and abuse. However, I can assure you that personal identifying information collected in this survey will never be published or shared with anyone besides myself or those few people I trust to help out with analysis. The only way people will even know if you took the survey is if you comment about it yourself or win one of the gold prizes!

Previous surveys:

Saoirse party performance evaluation survey: Includes results and analysis.
1st Survey: Personal traits that are the most important to consider when assigning priorities to congressional candidates.
2nd Survey: Specific policy views on various foreign and domestic issues.
3rd Survey: Roles and responsibilities of different branches of government and private organizations.

Thank you for in advance for taking this survey!
Please shout this article if at all possible.

Regards,
-Stilpo
