[Dozzer4CP] New is never boring
Dozzer_x
My second article is about internal and francophone affairs, an extension on foreign affairs, and a conclusion on this month’s election and my campaign. The last part of my series, the make-up of the Cabinet, will be published tomorrow evening.
In what concerns our internal affairs, my government would go in three directions: activity, new&young players, internal threats to Canada’s stability.
ACTIVITY: I think a true community needs not only to be active on the battlefield, but also in other activities that this game offers. We have a political module, a media module and we also have some sort of social module. I know that these days people don’t feel like writing so much, and I believe that they need to be incentivised in order to become more active.
Factually, what I’m thinking about is that the government should cooperate with the political parties and military units to do something that Canada hasn’t seen for quite some time: to spark public debate, to create writing contests, and so and so. This will make our media more active, and our players more involved. Especially considering the fact that Canada will have her faith decided next month, I think it’s important to have as many people as possible inolved in the debate surrounding this issue.
NEW&YOUNG PLAYERS: One of Canada’s problems is the incapacity of our country to keep new and young players in game. Private initiatives, like the Praetors, have been started, and this is only positive for us. Thanks to Utat’s excellent activity in the Ministry of Education, we also have the tutorials that new players need. Again, what we don’t have is an incentive to keep these people in game. In this aspect, the government should collaborate with the private sector to find out ways to incentivise and get these young people involved. Already existing programs like the Military Unit Loan Program will be kept and expanded. I think the writing contests I’m thinking about will also get young people a voice and this will normally get them involved with the community.
INTERNAL THREATS: In the past months, Canada has seen a surge in Serbians coming to the country and trying to take over several parties. Thankfully, an ATO committee was set up by DMV3 and their efforts have been stopped. But the threat is still there, and must be permanently contained. I think the government should co-operate with the current cross-party committee and develop a comprehensive ATO strategy. It is the government’s duty to offer full support to these ATO efforts, in order to maintain Canada stable and secure. Because what comes from the inside may be more dangerous than external threats.
The other topic in this category is Francophone affairs. As I’ve already stated, I think the Francophone community is an integral part of our nation and should be included in all spheres of life. It’s also nice to see every now and then articles in French. As a Francophone myself (albeit at an intermediary level), it’s only natural for me to see this happen. I myself will promote the French language by writing at least 3 reports fully in French the following month. As a general rule, I aim to write one report in French for every two reports in English. It is my desire to trigger a surge in the activity of the French speakers, because I aim for diversity.
Because I’ve already done an analysis on this, the extension will be in Q&A format.
Q: Why should Canada first join an alliance before any new war?
A: Because Canada needs security before it needs fun. I’ve already stated that Canada will see fun under my term, maybe a NE, maybe an Air-Strike, but only after we get to resolve the foreign affairs issue. So, it’s not about riding teacups, it’s about taking all the safety measures before you ride the Silver Star at Europa Park.
Q: What is more important for Canada? Keeping her close friends or getting big allies?
A: I’d argue that both are important. While having our close friends makes us feel in a community, gives us a sense of belonging, being allied with big nations, while not being such close friends, is also a necessary step to make in case Canada is attacked. And we can only get this by being a selfless and reliable ally to all. A nation will not hesitate to help us if we help them, and this could be seen in Canada’s recent success at repelling the FYROM threat and getting Chile out of Europe, a big success for LETO/Asteria, that has been possible only because Canada pushed for it.
Q: Do you think Canada has a good standing internationally?
In the past two months, Canada has had an excellent international standing, thanks to the diplomatic breakthroughs made by the two governments of Thedillpickl and TheSmoke. The position Canada finds itself in this moment must be exploited, we must not let it slip away. We have a huge chance at getting in with big boys.
Q: What is better? A regional alliance, but with weaker countries or a global one, with stronger ones?
A: In my last article I’ve told you about how I prefer a regional alliance, but that there must be a balance between close friends and powerful allies. While a regional pact like ATLAS must be upheld and developed even further, we also need to belong to a family of nations that is more powerful and has the necessary infrastructure to have a healthy defence and attack.
Q: What about relations with our neighbours?
A: Our currently non-allied neighbours are the US, Ireland and the UK. I am definitely aiming for a better relationship with both the US and Ireland, and I think my government would have a better chance at improving those relations than another one, considering the past situations with the big southern neighbour. Unfortunately, for as long as the UK will go with Poland, there is nothing we can do about them. And while wars with UK are boring and draining, they will certainly take place in the future as well, for as long as Canada and UK will be in different camps.
Q: Where’s the fun if we only get to have friendly or neutral neighbours?
A: Canada’s a medium-sized country. We have the resources to have fun somewhere else. And I aim for something exotical. As long as we have the money for it, we’re going for an air-strike after we sort out the alliances. Where we go, is up for Canadians to decide. Altough I have my ideas. I think I’m not the only Canadian that has some money in their own accounts that they would like to spend on some tropical endeavour.
Q: Why would your foreign affairs team be more suited for Canada than, let’s say, Rylde’s?
A: Oh this is a simple question. First of all, my team has experience. I have people that have been involved with FA in these past months, and that have the necessary international relations to get Canada in a strong negotiating position. While Rylde’s foreign affairs team may be competent, they haven’t been involved with FA lately, and it’ll take quite some time for them to accomodate. Precious time that’s going to be wasted, and this means lost opportunities.
My conclusion is simple. This month, unlike what Rylde said, we don’t get to choose between riding teacups with me or a roller-coaster with him. We get to choose between riding a Soviet-era roller-coaster with Rylde, or brand new secure and crazy roller-coaster with me. While riding the Soviet-era one might be more fun for some, as it’s actually a threat to your security and to your life, if it breaks during the ride it can’t be repaired and you die. Meanwhile, you can get to ride my 200 km/h roller-coaster and feel like crazy, while also having ensured that you have taken the necessary cautions for safety and well-being.
Having never been President before, but with a long-enough experience in Executive affairs, I do believe that it’s my time to prove my worth and my love for the community I’ve been a part of for the past 2 years. And what better time can it be? It’s Foreign Affairs month!
It’s an opportunity we can’t afford to lose.
Best regards,

Sorry, Dozzer. Soviet-era hell-ride is way more fun, and you're still teacups. Going around and around and around, making everyone dizzy with the walls of words... basically, the type of boring that makes you puke.
My name mentioned here! lol
"...Canada’s recent success at repelling the FYROM threat and getting Chile out of Europe, a big success for LETO/Asteria, that has been possible only because Canada pushed for it."
You know how this was largely funded, right?
"I think I’m not the only Canadian that has some money in their own accounts that they would like to spend on some tropical endeavour."
Hence Rylde's Top 100 fundraisers and War Machine II.
"While Rylde’s foreign affairs team may be competent, they haven’t been involved with FA lately, and it’ll take quite some time for them to accomodate."
I don't imagine you've seen the list. Go ahead and grab some salt and pepper, you can eat these words later.
I've seen the list.
Not the complete list. 😉
oh so its my name that is incompetent? I am voting for Rylde 😃
Yes, pretty much all of us active players funded it..
Actually we didn't use much of Rylde's fund at all for FYROM and Chile.
Me, Smoke, and Rylde's fundraising funded at least half of the overall cost.
You forget I was there too.
I don't remember seeing you. 😘
Temujin did a lot with MEK if we are mentioning names.

J'appuie ce qui concerne les affaires francophones.

If this article is any proof were in for a long month of boredom.
Yeah, there is a reason why the Fight button says "Fight" and not "Circle Jerk".
Rylde plays the game the way it was designed to be played - with lots of fighting.
"Politics" and "Negotiations" are player-made elements that can be done on a forum... and we all know the majority of eCitizens aren't on the forums.
We're here to play the game, not talk about it.
The choice is pretty clear, vote Dozzer or vote for known failures in the government
Lmao! Worst troll ever!
No that would be you
Who exactly are these known failures you're referring to?
Okay.
A month ago you failed as Speaker, in July your heir apparent Bruce was a failure, your attempt at fascism as a CP was a failure, your political party CPP was a failure, and your first term of CP was a massive failure because you couldn't stomach criticism.
Gee I guess the only thing that's changed about you is that you now just troll when you get criticized instead of ragequitting.
If I was such a failure as Speaker why did several party leaders beg me to run again? Meanwhile my two biggest critics aren't even in Congress, you and your bf Funky. Who got us into CoT? Who got the eUS out? Of course you can point out my failures, because I actually do things. The difference is I actually do things. What was the last thing you've done for eCanada?
I'm a CPF guy, not a national politics guy, sorry bub.
Things that are boring tend to be boring from the very beginning; when they were new.
Now if you'd gone with the How I Met Your Mother reference, "New is always better!", that's something I could have praised.
Also I only read the title.
"While Rylde’s foreign affairs team may be competent, they haven’t been involved with FA lately."
We have Aurora's SG on our team plus several former Canadian MoFAs. Who is on your team?
You. lol
You're putting Aurora's SG in cabinet?
The same alliance that just attacked NE'd us and Airstriked us 3 weeks ago? He has been a citizen for all of 2 days. Sounds rather reckless and stupid to me.
He has strong connections to nations we're going to have to make friends with going forward. Anyone in Canada can get an alliance with Portugal and France, we need the ability to befriend nations that we haven't been allies with in long time.
Also two other former MoFAs will be working with us, not including myself. I can easily say our FA team has contacts with every major and minor FA player in the game.
Good luck getting to use this expertise before Rylde blows it all up. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it is still a pig.
Rylde won't be working on FA. He has other fishes to fry.
Like what? Blowing up our FA's?
He has to get fitted for a new uniform. He has to look good for our war after we get the alliances situated.
Yeah, not a big fan of slander campaigns...and that last question seems fairly borderline.
Sorry dill, but every time I see yer name it keeps looking more like Thedickpickl lol
There is something false and damaging in the last question? I thought the whole article was respectful.
Or did you mean, Got Moose?

Not one comment about the upheaval in Europe and the obvious movements between the Central Europeans? The impending melee in that region cannot be ignored.
What will happen if the rumors about China are indeed true? Is the Croatian plan likely to succeed? What about the Indonesian Renaissance?
How will Canadian react when the Emerikans make their long planned sojourn into "that place"?
These questions need answers and you haven't touched on them in this short article. More context please!
Got Moose ?

good luck! o7
you had my vote. But then DWB endorsed you. #rylde4prez
This is way too much text to read. All Doz needs to do to get my vote is type "FUCK ePOLAND" in some nice bold letters.
Don't misunderstand though... ePoland, I love those guys because they contribute to this game by being so big and scary. Wars create strong economy, more CO rewards, more battles, more TP Gold, BH/CH Gold and etc.
I made more money when we were wiped because weapon prices had solid highs and lows. There were more battles so I could find smaller fights to sneak a BH Medal (I try to avoid the Players that have 60k strength and still in Div 2, your not taking a BH off them). CO rewards were $100 minimum with $350 highs. And the TP Gold rolled in.
Now? I can barely afford 90 strength a day. I trained 90 strength for 4 months straight when we were wiped.
So the fact I have arrived at is this:
Rylde stirs up the most shit. This is undisputed. Therefore Rylde will and always has had the best interest of eCan in mind. Weapon prices are shit, food is crap, battles are few so BH competition is high, eCan is safe so TP Gold is non-existentent - screw this shit.
I'll summarize the above the only way I know how though, like a Canadian: When I eat pancakes I like 100% Real Maple Syrup. That is what I came for, and that is what I put my money (time) down for. Anything else is a waste of time, I'm looking at you Aunt Jemima (Dozzer - no offence, I think your cool, your just not what I came for).
Stir up this shit Rylde, I want my Syrup God Dammit, these pancakes are getting cold.
