[CP] War Update Day 1270

Well hello there. Now that we are a couple of days into the war with Ireland I thought a general update might be appreciated 😃

As Ireland declared Natural Enemy (NE) first they got the first attack and chose Wales. Whether this has anything to do with it being the home of the infamous Maddog Jones is still a mystery. At the same time as the battle for Wales was taking place Ireland were trying to sign brand new Military Protection Pacts (MPPs) with two of our existing MPPs. For anyone who wondered why we let them win in Wales, and in fact actively went and threw damage into the battle on their side, the reason is that where MPPs are shared the next country to attack loses those MPPs. So, by letting them win we lost them their shiny new, and expensive, MPPs. Glorious.

Next they went on to attack the West Midlands, and we decided to resistance war back Wales. As Ireland had decided to repeat the “let’s sign up with two shared MPPs” we decided to try and repeat the previous day’s manouevre, however, at the last minute Ireland decided to ditch the proposed Brazilian MPP so we switched back to winning the West Midlands battle at the cost of just the USA MPP. End result. No Irish left in the UK and we had the next attack. Even better.





As I write this the battle we kicked off for Dublin is well under way and being won 5-0. And in the last hour Canada have decided to declare us their Natural Enemy as well. LOLCanada. Never mind, we have lots of friends and a new MPP kicking in to replace the USA one that we lost, so keep up the good work on the battlefields everyone!
