[CP] Update on current events and ministries.

So its been 7 days since my last article so I am due another one 🙂
As castenda rightfully pointed out earlier that is a bit long so in future I will be more active with articles and will release one every 3 or 4 days 😉

Vice-President:
At the moment it seems the vice president as gone inactive so over the next few days I will be looking for a replacement for him (hopefully a newer player to get them more involved in politics). I will of course keep you all updated on this.

Ministry of defence:

Seanan has been working hard to make sure the regions we are entitled to according to UK treaty are returned to our possession as smoothly and quickly as possible. He is also managing the supply team well and has taken on a few new members to increase the effectiveness of the system.
As you can see in the recent DoD article he is currently organising our first National strike this term which should be good fun so I wiould like to encourage everyone to come along and participate.

Sawc has definitely had his work cut out for him this month which has been even busier than the last few however there is nobody more capable for the job. He was one of the key figures in the negotiations with Poland and over the ongoing Treaty with UK.
He is also working with all our allies over MPP's as well as keeping in constant communication with them to maintain good relations.

As you all know the biggest news in this section is Sweet Drinker stepping down after months of work for Ireland and handing the MoF role over to DreadedEstate. DreadedEstate is more than capable and will continue to improve on the great work Sweet has done.
Due to the recent war with Poland our finances aren't in as good shape as recent months however DE is doing a great job in improving them.

Damhnaic has done great work this term as MoC. We have seen a huge increase in activity as well as new innovative idea's. I would like to take this opportunity to encourage everyone to participate in the competitions etc as much as possible because after all our community is one of the most important things we have in this game.
I would also like to direct you towards the survey he has released in his latest article. It is important that you get your say and opinion in everything and we would like to hear it.

Rikian is once again doing a great job in this position monitoring the in's and out's of eIrish citizenships. He will have an article out over the next few days with updates of everyjthing thats happened so far this term with statistics etc.

Cabinet and Congress
The cabinet is in constant contact with each other to ensure that no mishaps or miscommunication issue occurs. its safe to say that every minister has been pretty active this month.
We have also been in constant contact with congress and make sure everyone has a say. We try to include everyone's opinion when making our decisions.

Side-note: We are still waiting for UK to congress to approve the new treaty so once again I will keep you updated on that.
Last night we regained control of Northern ireland and we are currently in the process of regaining Scotland.
Over the next week we hope to be focusing on our national IRC and forums as they need a bit of revamping.

May I ask why congress in Ireland has voted for Wexford + Louth but according to the MoD eUK has the final say and haven't made their mind up? Surely the whole point was for Dublin to be returned to appease the masses (not that the masses can be appeased)
On Ronisu, yeah, I think after the trauma of the last month he needs a break.
Lastly, can I inform Ireland that the gentleman known as James Keiller will be GoW on Wednesday and we hope that as many as possible will turn up on
national strike night to wish him the best.

@malbekh The new treaty has been passed by Irish congress and is still waiting confirmation form UK congress.

Sorry Malbekh I read that wrong I thought you were asking why eUK had the "final say". If it eUK congress reject the new treaty then we will look into other terms to ensure we get Dublin back however if we fail to agree to a New treaty then the old treaty will still be in effect however it is in the interests of UK and Ireland to give us Dublin back considering the amount of dmg they would waste on a daily basis trying to defend it.

I was always talking eRepublik. Like I've said before, if Dublin and Dundalk are "only pixels", why be eIrish at all?

If we're talking erepublik, then why is "Dublin = Ireland"? Clarify.
When filling in the community survey the only problem I had with this term is a serious lack of information from yourself, as CP releasing articles every 7 days is just not good enough. Even every 3-4 isn't, if you even release a small one giving updates that is fine once they are regularly being put out.
Still don't see why people are complaining about Dublin, it has literally no significance to us what so ever. I am from there and couldn't care, it has no bonuses to offer as we have Wexford

regarding Dublin - imo our regions could be in Southern France, the Yukon, and Saudi Arabia... it wouldn't change anything about eIreland or the eIrish community.
