[CP] NoTie III - 2/3 Report

Dear citizens of the eNetherlands,
We've roughly passed 2/3 of the term and thought it'd be wise to give a short overview of what your government has been doing the last couple of days. Of course, most of it can be followed closely at our eNational forums http://enetherlands.nl or at our IRC Channels (read here a recently posted tutorial on IRC), but nevertheless I deemed a recap to be helpful.
Aurora / Foreign Affairs
What a week it has been for the eNetherlands on the international stage! First, we helped Belgium in kicking out their Pakistani invader. When Norway decided to attack the United Kingdom in coordination with a concurrent French attack, we decided to intervene on behalf of our British friends. The operation has been a clear success: We swiftly smashed trough the Norwegian shields and cut of Norway's access to the British Isles, therefore aborting the Scottish front. The whole operation has been in close coordination with our international (Aurora) allies and has been a helpful endeavour. Currently, we're looking for ways to wrap up our initial operation, as the goals have been achieved long ago.
The Country President and more specifically the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are in close and personal touch with many friendly leaders and governments, which are just as important as actual (military) contribution. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been doing an genius job at this front, shown by the interviews which the Ministry has held with several of our international allies/friends. The series are not yet finished (so stay tuned!), but currently we've had interviews with Chile, Germany, Ireland, Macedonia and Bulgaria.
State Military Unit
I'm proud to announce that my planned goals for our State Military Units have been implemente
😛We merged the two separate military units into one, we've let our citizens vote on a new improved name and currently we're having a contest for designing a new avatar. Once all changes have been implemented, we'll possibly be handing-out a one-time incentive to join this new improved Unit.

Minor Updates
- The Ministry of Finances have continued their work on getting the funds ready in the right accounts for our improved communes.
- The Ministry of Coaching did an extensive research of the efficiency of the Freedom Fighter Medal.
- Upcoming: The rewrite of our laws (in cooperation with Viglius), establishment of National Library and implementation of Training Facilities Subsidies.

So nothing changed in 2 weeks, do you have any signs Aurora even wants us?
Well during our war with Norway they have put our battles as a priority several times which is a good sign of support and if you read some of the interviews I have been doing recently you will see that most of the officials from the Aurora countries that I have interviewed are very welcoming to NL and supportive of NL joining Aurora and have given some very valuable advice on how we should proceed at developing even better relations with these individual countries. We can't just throw ourselves at them expect them to let us in. We have to establish genuine, stable relationships with these countries and that is what I have been focusing on doing this term.

So with Weekstrom not around for quite some time; How about transparency that several people complained about. I'm under the impression it less transparent as during weekstroms period while we do spend a lot more. Hard to believe we have solid finances this and previous term. Any updates on that?
What about the beloved Financial Sheet that is still updated daily, has additional date on it, that you, Weekstrom and the likes were praising as being transparent? 😉
Not to mention the CP updates included data on what the Government is doing with its money..
Well that sheets gives less info than it did before last time I checked (Friday if I recall correct)
Not to mention the gap that's in it, but that was not you're term.
If you specifically have a complaint about something in the finance sheet, then please, by all means, send me a message and I'll work to update it. Otherwise, complain away!
Realy Aries? How hard is it to look yourself?
But alricht the obvious ones;
- There is no recording of tax income ever since Weekstrom quit.
- There is no overview on spendings and income of you're own CP term.
- There is a vague statement on this term that is not understandable
- There is no recording of CP and congress terms from two terms in the accounts sheet.
I was rather polite in my initial comment but frankly it's a mess.

Which is meaning?
I have to agree with OpKracht, when i look at the doc set up by weekstorm it doesn't seem to be updated for some time, plus while i was looking in it i saw "To Black Sheep: 12810" but no further explanation why.
So unless a different sheet is being used i would like to know as well why this isn't being kept up to date, and why there is even less transparency now than before.
