[Artela] End of CP term update

Well, all the keys, channels, passwords, etc got handed over to the new boss yesterday, so all that remains for me is to do a quick “wrap up”.



Ireland
War is still ongoing, and the Natural Enemy got locked in again for another week shortly before I left office, so we can continue to have fun there. I have no doubt that we’ll get fruits again, and this time with a trade route back to London.



Canada
Despite their efforts to try and come through UK, we succeeded in repelling them, and now that the Swedes have decided to play Canada seem to be in a bit of trouble with a slight IKEA invasion. This cut off Canada from us as a byproduct, so we are no longer at war with them. However, the UK as a collective has a memory like an elephant (see Ireland)...



A note on warring and fighting
I noticed that some were saying “if Alfagrem is fighting why should we?”. Well, the truth is that everyone counts when we’re fighting. It doesn’t matter if you only hit 150 influence and not 1500 when we are all fighting together - every hit counts on the battlefield, and all those smaller hits mount up. Don’t get disheartened, keep training and fighting, and eventually you too will be bigger and stronger for it, as will the UK.



And finally...
So, quite an eventful month. I survived two attempted impeachments, and we all survived a two-pronged Eden attack while getting a nice shiny statue for the virtual central park for achieving a couple of national goals (including holding Louth at the time). The MOHA department increased the national library by commissioning new and amended guides that were issued and kept on top of making sure any eBabies got messages, and the MOFA department managed to stop our peculiar foreign affairs situation from completely imploding and left things in a state where the incoming administration should have a fairly free hand to head wherever is needed. The MOD department got plenty of military action to keep them satisfied, and even commissioned a couple of new campaign ribbons for the Armed Forces personnel to recognise their achievements of the past few months.





In parting, just a final thank you to everyone who worked so hard in the past month to make it a success. You all know who you are 😃
