WAM Me Up & Less Taxes
Azarius Theron
After reading the very informative discussion in J.Canuck’s article, “Did we all stop WAMing?”, I learned some business-minded players did some math and have decided to cut back on their work-clicks. This possible economic downturn could use a pick-me-up message dedicated to all the WAMers out there hardest hit by recent changes.
Thinking about a good song for WAM, the first thing that came to mind was George Michael. I could not imagine a more positive vibe to share with all of eCanada. WAMers, please don’t go-go!
WAM Me Up Before You Go-Go
You put the boom-boom into my guns,
You send prices sky high when your WAMin' ends.
Get iron, then do some grain,
Get some bang-bang-bang with my foodfights, you do the same.
But something's bugging you,
Something ain't right.
My best friend told me what Congress did last night.
Left you holdin’ the bag,
You were fumin’, but should have been WAMin’ instead.
WAM me up before you go-go,
Don't leave eCan hanging on like a yo-yo.
WAM me up before you go-go,
I don't want to miss it when I hit that CO.
WAM me up before you go-go,
'Cause I'm not plannin' on WAMin’ solo.
WAM up before you go-go,
Take me medal hunting tonight.
I wanna hit that high (yeah, yeah!)
You take the grey skies out of my way.
You make the bombs brighter than Enola Gay
Turned a bright spark into a flame.
My hits per DO never been the same.
'Cause you're my pusher, I'm your tool,
It makes me crazy when they tax you so cruel.
Come on, baby, let's not fight,
We'll go huntin’, everything will be all right.
WAM me up before you go-go,
'Cause I'm not plannin' on WAMin’ solo.
WAM up before you go-go,
Take me medal hunting tonight.
I wanna hit that high (yeah, yeah!)
Bonus track: Less Taxes!
Less Taxes!
I gave you my vote
But the very next day you raised it anyway.
This month,
To save me some tears,
I'll give it to someone special.
Once bitten and twice shy.
I keep my distance,
But you still charge me, why?
I'm hiding from you
And your list of lies.
My god, I thought you were someone to rely on.
Me? I guess I want a shoulder to cry on.
Less taxes!
I gave you my vote,
But the very next day you raised it anyway.
Maybe next poll I'll give it to someone,
I'll give it to someone special.

Neon pastels and a multiple chart topping George Michael, even Orwell couldn't fathom the true horrors of 1984:

glad to see the grinch making the big time.
Who would have known I would be seen with George Michael. I am not sure if I should be proud or sick to my stomach lol.
For a second there thought it was DMV, not George Michael.
I think raising taxes is a good reason for people to vote for my reelection. I will do what's necessary even if it's not popular.
Especially if it's not popular. Lol!
I think it is a good reason to kick you out. You have basically turned the q1 Rm companies into government establishments. I am happy to pay taxes. but I didn't buy companies just so you could completely pilfer them,
Well you should run against me on a low tax campaign
George Michael - the reason why I don't use public toilets any more.
About a decade ago I got really, really drunk in a bar in Warsaw and went down to the washroom for a piss. Inside this dude propositioned me - in English, very polite.
I declined, of course, but then went on to congratulate him for being so open and then boasted about how we had recently passed a law making same sex marriage legal.
I don't know if he appreciated that. I think he was probably just looking for (or to give) a blow job.
And later that same night, Chochi tried picking up some Polish chicks by citing the excellent maternity benefits provided through Canada's Employment Insurance program. : )
Lol, if only I was so smooth. Nope, I got too drunk and suggested that the hot German's grandfather might have been a Nazi. She happened to agree, though. Who would have thought that wouldn't have led to something?
It actually was quite the night. I'm surprised I found my way back to my hostel and not the hospital with alcohol poisoning.
I had a large pile of iron mines I worked in daily (along with half a dozen rubber plantations) to support my ability to work in my Q1-Q7 weapons factories. With all the articles lately, I realized I don't use rockets anymore and don't need to keep building any Q1-Q6 weapons. I sold off all the iron mines, bought 200K raw weapons material, and am down to working my Q7 weapons factory, Q5 food factory, and 2 hunting lodges daily. I could quit working the two hunting lodges for 50 days and let my raw food material storage go down. That's actually a good idea. No idea why I have it taking up 50K storage.
Rockets have been bogus forever, glad you've seen the light. 🙂
Voted for truth and for using the term bogus in equal measure.
Somebody tell me,
Won't you tell me...
Why I work so hard for you?
All to give you money
All to give you money...
I have read a lot of articles on lowering the Taxes, however the Administration has not said what they are spending all our money on...other than the generic "war spending" montra. Who are they paying hundreds of thousands of our tax dollars on? Are the purchasing mercs to do the fighting jobs of eCanadian fighters? Cause I don't see them buying up weapons and food to give to the people of eCanada...In fact they are asking for us hard working over taxed eCanadians to donate goods to the nooby fund....I just don't get it, where is all the money going?
Government money is nowadays spent entirely on CO. Mercs are hired using Q7 weapons which are always donated by the cabinet or CP, never seen tax money used to buy weapons to pay mercs. You would be surprised how much money is spent on CO.
The fact is, at the start of my term last month there wasn't a lot of government money. We had 300k. The first battle against Italy cost about that much. However, the Dutch paid for most of it. We then spent about 280k kicking out Italy and the initial battle against Germany. DMV came into office with 600k of his own money and spent it to wipe Germany. Rylde also pitched in at least 200k. 95% of the government money was spent during my term, DMV inherited about 20k, which was in the CAF MU account and I used it to set CO against Germany. So basically, I would say DMV hasn't really spent any government money so far this term. Blame it on me if you want, but 300k was great bang for our buck considering the action we got (part of the reason we went to Italy was because the Dutch offered 450k for CO).
Nice breakdown of costs.
I know the game is pretty much broken down at this point but it wouldn't hurt if we made this kind of information more readily available..
MoF has two programs we want to startup to make money, but as Xichael says, our wars are very expensive and literally all money goes towards them.
another reason to quit this
George Micheal won't be doing an encore performance in eCanada.
Please don't go-go, Dawson.
Let me get this straight...we have wars that we don't really do anything but pay for them? That is crazy...Why are we not supporting our own eCanadians and hire them? Or are there eCanadian MU Merks...
People bitch about how boring things are if we don't have wars even more then they bitch about high tax's.
Also we all fight for free already and we get tp cash . We need help to win wars. If we could win them ourselves we would not be spending a dime on CO.
Not win wars so much as prolong the wars as long as possible. Not sure if you can actually win.
