Five Years of Freedom Fighting

On August 18, 2014, SFP President Mark Valshannar commissioned the creation of a party paramilitary organization. That organization was created and named Bear Cavalry - in homage to the elite strike force of the Russian army of Cossack warriors who rode into combat on the backs of actual bears. Its purpose was to organize resistance wars against occupying PEACE GC nations in the United States of America. Overtime, Bear Cavalry has flourished and fallen many number of times, but the core belief remained always... fight oppression and imperialism by organizing resistance wars and freedom fighting.

As Commander of the Bear Cavalry, I can safely say that this goodwialism by ill mission will be the unit's Top Priority. However, Bear Cavalry is a small unit, comprised mostly of Division One fighters. Realizing that this would be a much better operation on a much grander scale, I have enlisted the help of other military units. So far, S.H.I.E.L.D. has signed on. One of the Co-Commanders of eUS Military, seeker1has stated that the eUS Military "won't participate unless battle is close." I am currently waiting on other military unit commanders to respond.
But you don't need to be a military unit commander to get involved. As stated above, we will be starting resistance wars in American-occupied Canadian regions in alphabetical order. Simply be in the region that is next to be RW'd and have 1000 USD ready to go. Add me as a friend and you will see me shout when and where to organize a resistance war. Then, fight... get your freedom fighter medals and then move to the next region. Do it again. Easy.

Tuesday Bear Tracker Report
Since 2009, the Bear Cavalry has been defenders of freedom. As one of the oldest military units in the eUSA, it has been a model for resistance war and freedom fighting and today continues to fight against imperialism.
Ursa Fi, Bear Cavalry:
It has been a great week for Bear Cavalry. Leading the charge to return the Canadian core regions, our unit moved into the Top 12 of Top Military Units last week. This is because of a good showing in the resistance wars. Individual military unit stats placed Bear Cavalry 12th Overall - 20th in Damage (308,022,296) and 14th in Opponents Defeated. This is progress that the entire unit should be proud of! Good work, Bear Cav... URSA FI!
Division One
Division 1 was lead by the newly-appointed Bear Cavalry Regimental Captain and Commune Manager, PilotPhil, who lead in both damage and opponents defeated.

Division 2 has only one fighter currently. Enyar is no slouch, however. He racked up 87,525,094 damage points and 1569 opponents defeated to be in the overall Top Three for the third straight week!

Just a week ago, the USA and Canada made the first attempts to repare the broken Brolliance the two nations once shared. Canadian Country President Thedillpickl approached American President dmjohnston and the two agreed on a training war. The exercise would be mutually beneficial to both nations, as Plato endowed new gold-eating missions unto the Denizens of the New World.
Today, I received confirmation from DMJ and the NSC that the time for the return of Canadian regions has come. I immediately began coordination talks for the upcoming resistance wars needed to return the Canadian regions with their nation's top executive to ascertain if he had a plan already. Last time that Bear Cavalry helped free Canada after the withdrawal ordered by then-CP, Molly Emma, there was no coordination. I wanted to make this round better coordinated. After assuring me that there was no plan in progress and allowing me to take the lead, Thedillpickl agreed to my plan of coordination:

The Continuing Story of Jijjalo Jude

A few years ago, a man by the name of Civil Anarchy propelled government-sanctioned media into the interactive talk radio world that had already been the home of several successful eRepublik talk shows. Shows like World Wide Whitehead, The Report With Jewitt and Wahoo Bob, and The Jude Connors Show had shown that there was a definite niche for these programs in the player community. Civil Anarchy and Soren Nelson, two Feds who were active in the media arm of the eUSA government, saw the potential of a government talk show and the official voice of the eUSA, eNPR, was born.
At the height of it's popularity, eNPR ran three shows a week, and had hundreds of downloads. After Civil Anarchy stepped down as eNPR Producer, I took over the reigns and the show really took off. Mainly with the help of Artela, eNPR became the top=rated interactive talk radio show in eRepublik. Against an entire Cabinet's advise,I introduced the monthly eNPR Presidential Debate programs. This became the flagship episode of the eNPR franchise, with over a hundred listeners and downloads per debate. eNPR had definitely become a sucess.
All good things come to an end, however. After awhile, listenership declined. Near the end, I remember an episode that Artela was hosting and the only callers were myself and another RadioStar.FM
DJ. The three of us hung out for an hours talking about.... nothing. eNPR was dead, and not even a move to RadioStar would help it. It quietly died an uncelebrated death and was gone.
Until last week. Civil Anarchy brought eNPR back to life with a Presidential Debate show, co-hosted by Custer. The show's revitalization brought cheers and was received with positive reviews. I even called in to hang out and listen to my dear eNPR make its return. At the end of the show, Civil Anarchy asked me to co-host the next episode, and that episode is TONIGHT!!! I was also pleasently surprised when my former co-host and RadioStar.FM DJ, Artela, also agreed to be a part of the big show tonight! So make sure you join the three of us for some information... and a general good time.

It is ten days into the new month for the party and Congress elections are upon us. This is the most important part of the month for any party running candidates. The Top Five parties are buzzing with energy right now, all ready for the big election day. Here at America's oldest Sixth party, the Socialist Freedom Party... energy also fills the party. We may be the only Sixth party running candidates, as well. This is also a big part of the month for us.
This month, we are sponsored by the largest party in the eUSA, The Federalist Party. This is a natural partnership, as the SFP is itself an offshoot of the Federalist Party... wayyyyy back before the Feds were a Top Five party. This legacy has been strengthened lately when the party military unit of both parties, Feds and SFP, participated in a joint military unit strike and plan to participate in more together. Finally, through the long time friendship between Wookyjack and I, and the approval and assistance of Federalist Party President, Evil Elvis... the Feds agreed to run two of our candidates in the July Congress elections in very good positions. I apologize for the lack of writing lately. I actually had a little ditty about having Country President DMJohnston on my show a week ago, but due to issues with my outdated PC, I had to cancel the visit from DMJ. I hope to get him on my show soon, however.
In addition to the technical issues (old PC), real life issues and sickness for the last week has kept me down. Ugh. I'm still spitting up wonderful, multi-colored expectorate, but that won't hinder me too much tonight for my internet radio program, Magic Carpet Ride with Jude Connors on RadioStar.FM. The show will kick off at 20:00 eRepublik time and I invite you all to tune in. In addition, I will be on the RadioStar IRC Channel (#radiostar) and on the RadioStar Voice Chat Server powered by TeamSpeak3 technology (voice.radiostar.fm on TeamSpeak) if you want to pass by and hang out, as well. We've even got a room just for eRepublik players there, although the listening party will be in the Party Zone room. And if you aren't by a computer, it's OK... you can listen to RadioStar on any smartphone!
DMJ is over ten days into his first term and is doing an excellent job, in my opinion. Despite the fact that the forums have been down for about a week, the American President and the foreign affairs team have struck a deal with our fledgling neighboring nation, Cuba to rent regions from them. To make the matter an even better deal, the USA has also agreed to pay a small retroactive payment for the days that we occupied the region without a deal. This corrects the last CP's mistake of viciously attacking the young nation at the beginning of the month. Well played, sir.
Until the forums went kaput, DMJ's program of a daily briefing was wildly successful. I hope it can continue after the forums come back. I am now here to state publicly that my web solutions company has offered to host the USA Forums... FOR FREE on our cloud servers. In SFP, I was once again elected to serve as President of the Socialist Freedom Party and Chairman of the Revolutionary Committee. [Bear Cavalry] Riding for Freedom

Unless you have been around since the V1 days, chances are you haven't even heard of the eUSA's oldest operating party militia, Bear Cavalry. The glory days of our past, when songs were sung about the men and women that rode on bear, are just that - past. The stories of the tattered band of misfits liberating the conquered American regions from the oppressive member nations of PEACE GC were sung loud and proud in those days. But like in the sponsoring mother party, Bear Cavalry suffered some hard times. Soon, all the songs stopped and Bear Cavalry faded into the background.
This year marks the fifth year of Bear Cavalry's existence, and the songs of praise are beginning to be heard once more. A few months ago, we helped liberate Canada after American President Molly Emma called for the end of hostilities with that nation. We have worked alongside our outback friends in Australia in support of resistance wars there and have been spending a lot of time lately in the UK, India, and elsewhere. Bear Cavalry revolutionaries fight daily in freedom fights to emancipate oppressed regions.
Today, I lead the men who ride on bears into battle in a joint strike with Easy Company, Seal Team Six, SHIELD, and the United States Armed Forces. The joint strike was coordinated by Wookyjack, Commander of SHIELD. Real Steel 4, the Country President of India, was on-hand to help coordinate the operation. The attaxk began at 13:00 eRep time.
The Country President of India stated that the nation needed help against Peru so we opened a RW in Gujarat, Iran as diversionary tactic. We made the resistance war in Orissa,Peru the priority battle, and the joint strike force went to work. With Gujarat as the secondary priority, it was only a matter of time before the allied strike force, alongside the fighters from India, had both resistance wars well in hand. In the end, both regions were won.
This is the first joint strike that I can ever remember for Bear Cavalry. As Unit Commander, I can definitely say that this will NOT be the last. This marks the resurgence of America's oldest freedom fighting group. The Bear Cavalry is a freedom fighting military unit sponsored by the Socialist Freedom Party. It acts as the party's strong arm in helping to defended our nation and keeping other nations liberated from any imperialist aggression. The Bear Cavalry is an open-ended unit, open to anyone who is in support of the cause of ensuring Freedom and Liberty not only on the homeland but on an international Level. Following the ideals of the party, Bear Cavalry puts freedom above all other things, including glory and personal gain.
We believe in ensuring a democracy to be allowed to keep the sovereignty of a nation by its own people. We fight to ensure that all imperialist aggression is kept contained so that nations can prosper without having to kowtow to a much bigger enemy. The Bear Cavalry consists of comrades of any background, nation, or political party and affiliation that are willing to fight for the freedom of all. We do fight to keep the homeland free from any form of Invasion from foreign enemies, but we openly support other nations who need aid in their struggle for Liberation.

For over a month now, I have been rarely updating this rag. I've been busy running the Socialist Freedom Party and writing in the White House Press Room. After all, someone has to speak for a media-absent, lame duck Country President, right? Just in case you missed them in the WHPR, I wrote a piece on freedom fighting that was widely praised and even interviewed the two top candidates for Saturday's July CP Election. You might want to check them out and learn something!
Speaking of the upcoming elections, it's my pleasure as Chairman of the Revolutionary Committee and Party President of the Socialist Freedom Party to announce that the party has selected John Largo as the SFP's official candidate for Country President. Largo defeated dmjohnston in a party election. Congratulations, Congressman Largo and best of luck in the election.
Personally, I refuse to campaign for or publicly endorse either candidate as a private citizen and wish both luck in the election. Both candidates are qualified and either can be a great Country President. Interestingly, both candidates also have the foresight to ask me to serve as Deputy Secretary of Media, so you can expect to see eRepublik's Favorite RadioStar continue to grace the pages of official government news and propaganda! \o/ I love being a King of eMedia!

Speaking of elections, I was handily defeated in the election of the Speaker of the House for the 79th eAmerican Congress. I congratulate Speaker Derphoof for his re-election to the prestigious position and wish him continued success. Derp has done an amazing job as a fair and just Speaker last month and is one of the better Speakers that Congress has seen in quite awhile. I thank everyone that had the balls to vote for me and especially thank those who nominated me. Maybe next month, right? 8^)
Speaking of Congress, SFP had three candidates sponsored by The Black Sheep Party in the last Congressional elections. Only one was able to make it to Congress, however - Freshman Congressman Ghost of Tom Joad. Congressman "G" has been quietly learning the ins-and-outs of Congressional procedure and has been doing a good job of informing the party of Congressional happenings via the party shout feed. Congratulations to "G" and I hope your first term is as enjoyable as it is informative.
On the battlefield, I have been collecting Freedom Fighter medals, as usual. I'm up to 37 now, which averages out to just less than 10 per month since I started my career as a Freedom Fighter. In addition, I lead a group of fighters from Bear Cavalry to join with eAmerica's most powerful private military unit, Easy Company for the recent MU Tournament. It was an amazing success. As stated in this article, EZC swept each division in the eUSA and finished 16th in the world. Congratulations to Easy Company for a job well-done.
My time in EZC was nothing short of amazing. The unit is a vibrant community with an active forum, military feed, and in-game MU chat. They made me and my rag-tag band of revolutionaries from BC feel welcome and even added the Bear Cav logo to their forum banner. In addition, both the unit and its more affluent members made sure that even the refugees from other MUs were included in daily supply rations. As Chairman of the Revolutionary Committee and Party President of Socialist Freedom Party/Commander-In-Chief of Bear Cavalry, I hope we can continue to work with Easy Company in future endeavors. I want to thank you, both as a player and as the representative of SFP's Bear Cavalry, for not only allowing Bear Cav to join with EZC for the MU Tournament, but also for the hospitality. Now I am sitting back, reaping the benefits with an chest of energy bars and a Training Contract that helps me build strength daily for next to nothing. Thanks again!
Finally, I want to give a shout out to the members of eUSA's other top Military Units: Seal Team 6, United States Armed Forces, and eUS Military. Each unit went balls-deep during the recent MU competition and should be proud of themselves! Good work!

Right after he immediately began to personally attack me by calling me a "craven liar", I knew it would be a waste of time trying to open Kemal's eyes to see the light. Instead, I decided to have fun because I clearly pwned him from the very start of this conversation. He practically begged for it. Sue me.
Remember, America... elections can change things. Congress elections are coming up soon, and it's important to see how people stand on the issues. Two of the top five parties stood up for you and I and our private military units in the recent attempt to lower the work tax, but three still are holding the majority and the status quo. If you can't change a Congressman's mind in your party... maybe it's time to vote for another party. If we kids continue to give the Bourgeois our candy, we will get the same answer each time.

The move of the Socialist Freedom Party to the former offices of the now-defunct Liberty Advancement Party is now complete. It was a huge success. I would like to thank the SFP members who made the transition seamless. I also want to thank some of the former party's leadership for helping SFP ease into the new spot. And a shout-out ot PQ, who stayed behind to turn off the lights in the old party offices. Last but not least, mad props to Captain Recks for doing a great job at reinvigorating the party with activity!
Now let's talk a bit about Canada. A couple of months ago, I stood as the lone voice of reason and precognition and spoke out against the unwarranted aggression against our former Bros to the North. I warned about the wasted and excessive spending that would from a prolonged occupation. I warned how wasting the time and damage would hurt our allies. as now... Brazil is voting to leave Sirius.
I'm not going to say I told you so, but I kinda did. Luckily, the ripple of dissent I have been preaching since day one of the failed Operation: Grey Cup is becoming a tide of change. People are starting to see the folly of this useless war that hasn't even provided the USA with 100/100 resources and has cost the American players millions of USD. Just read the comments on these articles published by HeapSeppo and Hale26. It's clear that the movement's in motion.
And why wouldn't it be? Former President Gnilraps admitted to spending millions of American tax dollars on the war in wasted spending that SCI approved with no oversight from the rest of Congress. The cost of the war is so great that Economic Council members like Evry and Kemal have said the government is now in a deficit and that a reduction of merely 2% in work tax (which a group of good American Congressmen are now fighting for in Public Congressional Proceedings right now) would cripple the nation and lose resource bonuses. The USA went into this war with a surplus of money and is now in deficit spending. Financially, this war has bankrupt the nation and failed the American people.
So who is actually benefitting from this war? The American Bourgeois class is. The aristocratic politic elite fat cats that have bankrupt America and bullied Canada for it's own gain. They will continue to live in denial and blame this war on Canadian foreign policy, which sucking up tax dollars that help them level up faster, rank up faster, and spin a web of lies to confuse and take advantage of the American players like they have done for the past three-plus years.
It's a simple fact that the majority of the American Bourgeois are members of and the ranking officers of the government-funded military unit. That unit receives $215,000/wk. in American tax money and a lionshare of the money SCI approves for defense spending without oversight from the rest of Congress. Week after week, the "official" military is ranked #1 in American battle damage. That seems impressive, right?
Well, dive deeper, my friends. Last week alone, the government MU laid down 16.5 billion in damage. When you add up the damage done by the rest of the top ten military units last week, the "official" military only did 26.7% of the 61.7 billion damage done by the top ten. The majority of the damage done last week by American military units was done by private units like Easy Company, Seal Team 6, the eUS Military, S.H.I.E.L.D., and VMA-214 Black Sheep. Kinda looks like wasteful spending of American tax dollars, amirite?
Yet we continue to support the Bourgeois and it's elite clubs and take it up the butt without so much as a reacharound. This war... our wasteful spending... the horrid treatment of our allies... the lies and years of taking advantage of the American players... all the work of a small cadre of players in power for years now. Is this what the eUSA is all about?
It's time for this ALL to end. It's time to seperate ourselves from that herd and do what is right. The tides of change are amoung us, but we need to make it waves! Stand up and Fight! The House of Cards of the American Bourgeois Class will soon be tumbling down... but not if you remain a mindless lemming and follow them off the cliff.

I first want to congratulate Molly Emma on becoming Country resident in a landslide election. Now I hope Molly Emma can pull the eUSA out of the slump of occupying Canada and lead the nation in a righteous direction. I recommend the freedom of our longtime allies, Brazil.

That being said, I've got some information on the longest continuously running party in the eUnited States, the SFP: Socialist Freedom Party!
In just a few days, SFP, like every other party in eRepublik, will be heading to the polls (pressing the button) to elect a new Party President. Of course, I am running for that office, but this month... there is a twist.
With LAP merging into WTP, the SFP Revolutionary Committee got together and discussed in our forums with the general membership about packing our bags and heading over to the party the LAP members are tossing aside. I've been in talks with a member of LA Leadership, Oblige; and they have no problem with us coming in to claim their dead. So in a few days... hopefully at least, SFP will be ranked above the old AFA in a new home. SFP members should keep a close eye on their message inbox for more details or feel free to message me in game if you have any questions or concerns.
SFP members will be happy to know that I have worked out a deal with the new Top Five party, The Black Sheep Party, securing the SFP at least one spot for Congress candidates. Here's how it is going to work.
After SFP elects it's new Chairman, he or she will open a Call for Congress Candidates in the SFP Forums. Those interested in becoming a Congressman will reply to the post to declare their intent in representing the SFP in Congress, including a manifesto. After the new SFP Chairman is in office (16th of the month), s/he or a representative from the SFP Revolutionary Committee should open a Call for Congress Candidates in the forums. On the 20th of every month, the Call thread shall be locked and a new thread opened for voting on the candidates. Voting will last until the 22nd of the month. The member who receives the most votes in the Congress Candidate election will be the SFP Congress Candidate and then leave the party and join the Black Sheep Party and candidate for Congress. After the election, the candidate leaves BSP and returns to SFP to serve as the SFP Congressional Delegate. If the SFP is given more candidate slots with Black Sheep Party, they will be filled in order of votes received in the Candidate election. Any ties in the Congress Candidate Election will be broken by a vote of the SFP Chairman.
☞ IMPORTANT: Individuals seeking to represent the SFP in Congress should remember that Black Sheep Party is doing SFP a favor and any negative issues between an SFP delegate and Black Sheep Party can result in a suspension of up to six months from the Congress Candidate elections. Don't be a tool.
I'm excited at the direction that SFP seems headed. There are still some things that we - just like any other party - need to work on, but when all is said and done, SFP is stronger now that it has been in a long time.

Unless you are either in my party or know me personally, you probably didn't realize my absence from eRepublik for nearly a month. I had decided to take time off in order to plan a wedding then get married. On 4/19, I was married to the love of my life. It was an event that was twenty years in the making (yes... i AM old).
I see that the USA is still neutered and bullying a weak nation just because we can. I would have thought that the cadre of SuperFriends in power at the top of the elite class would have gotten bored with that atrocity to freedom, but I guess I was wrong.
It is nice to see that some of the common people are getting tired of the SSDD mentality of those in power, however. Bucephalus92 speaks about that exact concept in Time for Peace?.
But what could be more meaningful than warring Canadians you ask? Aside from literally anything? Honestly, I'm much less concerned about that. I know what I would like to do but what matters to me more is that were doing something other than getting caught up in boring war that exists purely because we think the Canadians are dicks, and vice versa. As a suggestion, why not NE Portugal instead, free Venezuela and then use that position as a launching pad for a campaign to finally bring freedom to the people of Brozil? They have languished at the hands of the Argentinians for far too long and I believe a strong and coordinated campaign, rich in narrative, would be beneficial for all involved. However most importantly, I think it could be fun.

Let's face some facts here... we play eRepublik because we want to have fun. Yet somehow, we slide in monotony and the game becomes more of a daily grind, void of independent thinking... void of civil anarchy... void of fun.
We use populist opinions, we quote the status quo, we conduct government-sanctioned bullying in both foreign and domestic policies. We scream for change but suffer from insanity by doing the same thing over and over again.
After a month AFK, the only thing that has seemed to change is that LAP has been ousted from the Top Five, replaced by The Black Sheep... and are merging with WTP. How is this fun again?

A long time ago in a different life, I was once thebitchboy ...Vice President... for Oblige. During my month as White House Bong Keeper ...Vice President... I advocated publicly and privately for an invasion of Canada that was desperately needed back then. Even well-known Canadian Bros were asking for it, to clean its government in the wake of their version of Ajay coming into power. A multitude of Canadians were coming to me daily, pleading for American intervention. Unfortunately, Oblige was too busy ruining TERRA by getting a virtual hand jibber from an Argentine official.
Since then, our Bromance with Canada has died, cemented by Canada's MPP with Serbia. This reportedly happened after the eUSA shunned Canada in the recent international realignment of alliances. Minor skirmishes during the previous administration lead to a recent "Cold War", filling citizen feeds, forums, articles, and even social media with propaganda. Both sides shouted their reasons and chose sides, and lines were drawn in the snow. Until recently, no one crossed those lines.
Gnilraps and the stamp-happy American Congress decided the time had come for USA to stomp across those lines three days ago with what Gnilraps calls "Operation Grey Cup". (Personally, I think Operation: Pounding Beaver is a better name, but whatever....) With Canada again declared as Natural Enemy, USA attacked British Columbia. Five Years of Freedom Fighting

On August 18, 2014, SFP President Mark Valshannar commissioned the creation of a party paramilitary organization. That organization was created and named Bear Cavalry - in homage to the elite strike force of the Russian army of Cossack warriors who rode into combat on the backs of actual bears. Its purpose was to organize resistance wars against occupying PEACE GC nations in the United States of America. Overtime, Bear Cavalry has flourished and fallen many number of times, but the core belief remained always... fight oppression and imperialism by organizing resistance wars and freedom fighting.

As Commander of the Bear Cavalry, I can safely say that this goodwialism by ill mission will be the unit's Top Priority. However, Bear Cavalry is a small unit, comprised mostly of Division One fighters. Realizing that this would be a much better operation on a much grander scale, I have enlisted the help of other military units. So far, S.H.I.E.L.D. has signed on. One of the Co-Commanders of eUS Military, seeker1has stated that the eUS Military "won't participate unless battle is close." I am currently waiting on other military unit commanders to respond.
But you don't need to be a military unit commander to get involved. As stated above, we will be starting resistance wars in American-occupied Canadian regions in alphabetical order. Simply be in the region that is next to be RW'd and have 1000 USD ready to go. Add me as a friend and you will see me shout when and where to organize a resistance war. Then, fight... get your freedom fighter medals and then move to the next region. Do it again. Easy.

Since 2009, the Bear Cavalry has been defenders of freedom. As one of the oldest military units in the eUSA, it has been a model for resistance war and freedom fighting and today continues to fight against imperialism.

It has been a great week for Bear Cavalry. Leading the charge to return the Canadian core regions, our unit moved into the Top 12 of Top Military Units last week. This is because of a good showing in the resistance wars. Individual military unit stats placed Bear Cavalry 12th Overall - 20th in Damage (308,022,296) and 14th in Opponents Defeated. This is progress that the entire unit should be proud of! Good work, Bear Cav... URSA FI!

Division 1 was lead by the newly-appointed Bear Cavalry Regimental Captain and Commune Manager, PilotPhil, who lead in both damage and opponents defeated.

Just a week ago, the USA and Canada made the first attempts to repare the broken Brolliance the two nations once shared. Canadian Country President Thedillpickl approached American President dmjohnston and the two agreed on a training war. The exercise would be mutually beneficial to both nations, as Plato endowed new gold-eating missions unto the Denizens of the New World.
Today, I received confirmation from DMJ and the NSC that the time for the return of Canadian regions has come. I immediately began coordination talks for the upcoming resistance wars needed to return the Canadian regions with their nation's top executive to ascertain if he had a plan already. Last time that Bear Cavalry helped free Canada after the withdrawal ordered by then-CP, Molly Emma, there was no coordination. I wanted to make this round better coordinated. After assuring me that there was no plan in progress and allowing me to take the lead, Thedillpickl agreed to my plan of coordination:

The Continuing Story of Jijjalo Jude

A few years ago, a man by the name of Civil Anarchy propelled government-sanctioned media into the interactive talk radio world that had already been the home of several successful eRepublik talk shows. Shows like World Wide Whitehead, The Report With Jewitt and Wahoo Bob, and The Jude Connors Show had shown that there was a definite niche for these programs in the player community. Civil Anarchy and Soren Nelson, two Feds who were active in the media arm of the eUSA government, saw the potential of a government talk show and the official voice of the eUSA, eNPR, was born.
At the height of it's popularity, eNPR ran three shows a week, and had hundreds of downloads. After Civil Anarchy stepped down as eNPR Producer, I took over the reigns and the show really took off. Mainly with the help of Artela, eNPR became the top=rated interactive talk radio show in eRepublik. Against an entire Cabinet's advise,I introduced the monthly eNPR Presidential Debate programs. This became the flagship episode of the eNPR franchise, with over a hundred listeners and downloads per debate. eNPR had definitely become a sucess.
All good things come to an end, however. After awhile, listenership declined. Near the end, I remember an episode that Artela was hosting and the only callers were myself and another RadioStar.FM
DJ. The three of us hung out for an hours talking about.... nothing. eNPR was dead, and not even a move to RadioStar would help it. It quietly died an uncelebrated death and was gone.
Until last week. Civil Anarchy brought eNPR back to life with a Presidential Debate show, co-hosted by Custer. The show's revitalization brought cheers and was received with positive reviews. I even called in to hang out and listen to my dear eNPR make its return. At the end of the show, Civil Anarchy asked me to co-host the next episode, and that episode is TONIGHT!!! I was also pleasently surprised when my former co-host and RadioStar.FM DJ, Artela, also agreed to be a part of the big show tonight! So make sure you join the three of us for some information... and a general good time.

The Top Five parties are buzzing with energy right now, all ready for the big election day. Here at America's oldest Sixth party, the Socialist Freedom Party... energy also fills the party. We may be the only Sixth party running candidates, as well. This is also a big part of the month for us.
This month, we are sponsored by the largest party in the eUSA, The Federalist Party. This is a natural partnership, as the SFP is itself an offshoot of the Federalist Party... wayyyyy back before the Feds were a Top Five party. I apologize for the lack of writing lately. I actually had a little ditty about having Country President DMJohnston on my show a week ago, but due to issues with my outdated PC, I had to cancel the visit from DMJ. I hope to get him on my show soon, however.
In addition to the technical issues (old PC), real life issues and sickness for the last week has kept me down. Ugh. I'm still spitting up wonderful, multi-colored expectorate, but that won't hinder me too much tonight for my internet radio program, Magic Carpet Ride with Jude Connors on RadioStar.FM. The show will kick off at 20:00 eRepublik time and I invite you all to tune in. In addition, I will be on the RadioStar IRC Channel (#radiostar) and on the RadioStar Voice Chat Server powered by TeamSpeak3 technology (voice.radiostar.fm on TeamSpeak) if you want to pass by and hang out, as well. We've even got a room just for eRepublik players there, although the listening party will be in the Party Zone room. And if you aren't by a computer, it's OK... you can listen to RadioStar on any smartphone!
DMJ is over ten days into his first term and is doing an excellent job, in my opinion. Despite the fact that the forums have been down for about a week, the American President and the foreign affairs team have struck a deal with our fledgling neighboring nation, Cuba to rent regions from them. To make the matter an even better deal, the USA has also agreed to pay a small retroactive payment for the days that we occupied the region without a deal. This corrects the last CP's mistake of viciously attacking the young nation at the beginning of the month. Well played, sir.
Until the forums went kaput, DMJ's program of a daily briefing was wildly successful. I hope it can continue after the forums come back. I am now here to state publicly that my web solutions company has offered to host the USA Forums... FOR FREE on our cloud servers. We will host the forums and only ask that a footer be placed at the bottom of the page, advertising our hosting company and our radio station in a small text-based advert that simply states These forums are hosted by The RadioStar Company. In SFP, I was once again elected to serve as President of the Socialist Freedom Party and Chairman of the Revolutionary Committee. I appreciate the confidence of the party members and will once again work to the best of my ability to work with the RevCom and community to continue to make the party the best we can! It has been an amazing couple of months at the helm and I thank all the members of the Revolutionary Committee for working with me to make the party better and better.
With that, I have opened a Call for Congresspersons in the party forums, which still work, by the way. Any SFP member interested in running for Congress is invited to post their intent and a manifesto. The Call is open until the 20th, then a vote is held to determine our candidate(s). [Bear Cavalry] Riding for Freedom

Unless you have been around since the V1 days, chances are you haven't even heard of the eUSA's oldest operating party militia, Bear Cavalry. The glory days of our past, when songs were sung about the men and women that rode on bear, are just that - past. The stories of the tattered band of misfits liberating the conquered American regions from the oppressive member nations of PEACE GC were sung loud and proud in those days. But like in the sponsoring mother party, Bear Cavalry suffered some hard times. Soon, all the songs stopped and Bear Cavalry faded into the background.
This year marks the fifth year of Bear Cavalry's existence, and the songs of praise are beginning to be heard once more. A few months ago, we helped liberate Canada after American President Molly Emma called for the end of hostilities with that nation. We have worked alongside our outback friends in Australia in support of resistance wars there and have been spending a lot of time lately in the UK, India, and elsewhere. Bear Cavalry revolutionaries fight daily in freedom fights to emancipate oppressed regions.
Today, I lead the men who ride on bears into battle in a joint strike with Easy Company, Seal Team Six, SHIELD, and the United States Armed Forces. The joint strike was coordinated by Wookyjack, Commander of SHIELD. Real Steel 4, the Country President of India, was on-hand to help coordinate the operation. The attaxk began at 13:00 eRep time.
The Country President of India stated that the nation needed help against Peru so we opened a RW in Gujarat, Iran as diversionary tactic. We made the resistance war in Orissa,Peru the priority battle, and the joint strike force went to work. With Gujarat as the secondary priority, it was only a matter of time before the allied strike force, alongside the fighters from India, had both resistance wars well in hand. In the end, both regions were won.
This is the first joint strike that I can ever remember for Bear Cavalry. As Unit Commander, I can definitely say that this will NOT be the last. This marks the resurgence of America's oldest freedom fighting group. The Bear Cavalry is a freedom fighting military unit sponsored by the Socialist Freedom Party. It acts as the party's strong arm in helping to defended our nation and keeping other nations liberated from any imperialist aggression. The Bear Cavalry is an open-ended unit, open to anyone who is in support of the cause of ensuring Freedom and Liberty not only on the homeland but on an international Level. Following the ideals of the party, Bear Cavalry puts freedom above all other things, including glory and personal gain.
We believe in ensuring a democracy to be allowed to keep the sovereignty of a nation by its own people. We fight to ensure that all imperialist aggression is kept contained so that nations can prosper without having to kowtow to a much bigger enemy. The Bear Cavalry consists of comrades of any background, nation, or political party and affiliation that are willing to fight for the freedom of all. We do fight to keep the homeland free from any form of Invasion from foreign enemies, but we openly support other nations who need aid in their struggle for Liberation.

For over a month now, I have been rarely updating this rag. I've been busy running the Socialist Freedom Party and writing in the White House Press Room. After all, someone has to speak for a media-absent, lame duck Country President, right? Just in case you missed them in the WHPR, I wrote a piece on freedom fighting that was widely praised and even interviewed the two top candidates for Saturday's July CP Election. You might want to check them out and learn something!
Speaking of the upcoming elections, it's my pleasure as Chairman of the Revolutionary Committee and Party President of the Socialist Freedom Party to announce that the party has selected John Largo as the SFP's official candidate for Country President. Largo defeated dmjohnston in a party election. Congratulations, Congressman Largo and best of luck in the election.
Personally, I refuse to campaign for or publicly endorse either candidate as a private citizen and wish both luck in the election. Both candidates are qualified and either can be a great Country President. Interestingly, both candidates also have the foresight to ask me to serve as Deputy Secretary of Media, so you can expect to see eRepublik's Favorite RadioStar continue to grace the pages of official government news and propaganda! \o/ I love being a King of eMedia!

Speaking of elections, I was handily defeated in the election of the Speaker of the House for the 79th eAmerican Congress. I congratulate Speaker Derphoof for his re-election to the prestigious position and wish him continued success. Derp has done an amazing job as a fair and just Speaker last month and is one of the better Speakers that Congress has seen in quite awhile. I thank everyone that had the balls to vote for me and especially thank those who nominated me. Maybe next month, right? 8^)
Speaking of Congress, SFP had three candidates sponsored by The Black Sheep Party in the last Congressional elections. Only one was able to make it to Congress, however - Freshman Congressman Ghost of Tom Joad. Congressman "G" has been quietly learning the ins-and-outs of Congressional procedure and has been doing a good job of informing the party of Congressional happenings via the party shout feed. Congratulations to "G" and I hope your first term is as enjoyable as it is informative.
On the battlefield, I have been collecting Freedom Fighter medals, as usual. I'm up to 37 now, which averages out to just less than 10 per month since I started my career as a Freedom Fighter. In addition, I lead a group of fighters from Bear Cavalry to join with eAmerica's most powerful private military unit, Easy Company for the recent MU Tournament. It was an amazing success. As stated in this article, EZC swept each division in the eUSA and finished 16th in the world. Congratulations to Easy Company for a job well-done.
My time in EZC was nothing short of amazing. The unit is a vibrant community with an active forum, military feed, and in-game MU chat. They made me and my rag-tag band of revolutionaries from BC feel welcome and even added the Bear Cav logo to their forum banner. In addition, both the unit and its more affluent members made sure that even the refugees from other MUs were included in daily supply rations. As Chairman of the Revolutionary Committee and Party President of Socialist Freedom Party/Commander-In-Chief of Bear Cavalry, I hope we can continue to work with Easy Company in future endeavors. I want to thank you, both as a player and as the representative of SFP's Bear Cavalry, for not only allowing Bear Cav to join with EZC for the MU Tournament, but also for the hospitality. Now I am sitting back, reaping the benefits with an chest of energy bars and a Training Contract that helps me build strength daily for next to nothing. Thanks again!
Finally, I want to give a shout out to the members of eUSA's other top Military Units: Seal Team 6, United States Armed Forces, and eUS Military. Each unit went balls-deep during the recent MU competition and should be proud of themselves! Good work!

Right after he immediately began to personally attack me by calling me a "craven liar", I knew it would be a waste of time trying to open Kemal's eyes to see the light. Instead, I decided to have fun because I clearly pwned him from the very start of this conversation. He practically begged for it. Sue me.
Remember, America... elections can change things. Congress elections are coming up soon, and it's important to see how people stand on the issues. Two of the top five parties stood up for you and I and our private military units in the recent attempt to lower the work tax, but three still are holding the majority and the status quo. If you can't change a Congressman's mind in your party... maybe it's time to vote for another party. If we kids continue to give the Bourgeois our candy, we will get the same answer each time.

The ABCs of the American Bourgeois Class

The move of the Socialist Freedom Party to the former offices of the now-defunct Liberty Advancement Party is now complete. It was a huge success. I would like to thank the SFP members who made the transition seamless. I also want to thank some of the former party's leadership for helping SFP ease into the new spot. And a shout-out ot PQ, who stayed behind to turn off the lights in the old party offices. Last but not least, mad props to Captain Recks for doing a great job at reinvigorating the party with activity!
Now let's talk a bit about Canada. A couple of months ago, I stood as the lone voice of reason and precognition and spoke out against the unwarranted aggression against our former Bros to the North. I warned about the wasted and excessive spending that would from a prolonged occupation. I warned how wasting the time and damage would hurt our allies. as now... Brazil is voting to leave Sirius.
I'm not going to say I told you so, but I kinda did. Luckily, the ripple of dissent I have been preaching since day one of the failed Operation: Grey Cup is becoming a tide of change. People are starting to see the folly of this useless war that hasn't even provided the USA with 100/100 resources and has cost the American players millions of USD. Just read the comments on these articles published by HeapSeppo and Hale26. It's clear that the movement's in motion.
And why wouldn't it be? Former President Gnilraps admitted to spending millions of American tax dollars on the war in wasted spending that SCI approved with no oversight from the rest of Congress. The cost of the war is so great that Economic Council members like Evry and Kemal have said the government is now in a deficit and that a reduction of merely 2% in work tax (which a group of good American Congressmen are now fighting for in Public Congressional Proceedings right now) would cripple the nation and lose resource bonuses. The USA went into this war with a surplus of money and is now in deficit spending. Financially, this war has bankrupt the nation and failed the American people.
So who is actually benefitting from this war? The American Bourgeois class is. The aristocratic politic elite fat cats that have bankrupt America and bullied Canada for it's own gain. They will continue to live in denial and blame this war on Canadian foreign policy, which sucking up tax dollars that help them level up faster, rank up faster, and spin a web of lies to confuse and take advantage of the American players like they have done for the past three-plus years.
It's a simple fact that the majority of the American Bourgeois are members of and the ranking officers of the government-funded military unit. That unit receives $215,000/wk. in American tax money and a lionshare of the money SCI approves for defense spending without oversight from the rest of Congress. Week after week, the "official" military is ranked #1 in American battle damage. That seems impressive, right?
Well, dive deeper, my friends. Last week alone, the government MU laid down 16.5 billion in damage. When you add up the damage done by the rest of the top ten military units last week, the "official" military only did 26.7% of the 61.7 billion damage done by the top ten. The majority of the damage done last week by American military units was done by private units like Easy Company, Seal Team 6, the eUS Military, S.H.I.E.L.D., and VMA-214 Black Sheep. Kinda looks like wasteful spending of American tax dollars, amirite?
Yet we continue to support the Bourgeois and it's elite clubs and take it up the butt without so much as a reacharound. This war... our wasteful spending... the horrid treatment of our allies... the lies and years of taking advantage of the American players... all the work of a small cadre of players in power for years now. Is this what the eUSA is all about?
It's time for this ALL to end. It's time to seperate ourselves from that herd and do what is right. The tides of change are amoung us, but we need to make it waves! Stand up and Fight! The House of Cards of the American Bourgeois Class will soon be tumbling down... but not if you remain a mindless lemming and follow them off the cliff.

I first want to congratulate Molly Emma on becoming Country resident in a landslide election. Now I hope Molly Emma can pull the eUSA out of the slump of occupying Canada and lead the nation in a righteous direction. I recommend the freedom of our longtime allies, Brazil.

That being said, I've got some information on the longest continuously running party in the eUnited States, the SFP: Socialist Freedom Party!
In just a few days, SFP, like every other party in eRepublik, will be heading to the polls (pressing the button) to elect a new Party President. Of course, I am running for that office, but this month... there is a twist.
With LAP merging into WTP, the SFP Revolutionary Committee got together and discussed in our forums with the general membership about packing our bags and heading over to the party the LAP members are tossing aside. I've been in talks with a member of LA Leadership, Oblige; and they have no problem with us coming in to claim their dead. So in a few days... hopefully at least, SFP will be ranked above the old AFA in a new home. SFP members should keep a close eye on their message inbox for more details or feel free to message me in game if you have any questions or concerns.
SFP members will be happy to know that I have worked out a deal with the new Top Five party, The Black Sheep Party, securing the SFP at least one spot for Congress candidates. Here's how it is going to work.
After SFP elects it's new Chairman, he or she will open a Call for Congress Candidates in the SFP Forums. Those interested in becoming a Congressman will reply to the post to declare their intent in representing the SFP in Congress, including a manifesto. After the new SFP Chairman is in office (16th of the month), s/he or a representative from the SFP Revolutionary Committee should open a Call for Congress Candidates in the forums. On the 20th of every month, the Call thread shall be locked and a new thread opened for voting on the candidates. Voting will last until the 22nd of the month. The member who receives the most votes in the Congress Candidate election will be the SFP Congress Candidate and then leave the party and join the Black Sheep Party and candidate for Congress. After the election, the candidate leaves BSP and returns to SFP to serve as the SFP Congressional Delegate. If the SFP is given more candidate slots with Black Sheep Party, they will be filled in order of votes received in the Candidate election. Any ties in the Congress Candidate Election will be broken by a vote of the SFP Chairman.
☞ IMPORTANT: Individuals seeking to represent the SFP in Congress should remember that Black Sheep Party is doing SFP a favor and any negative issues between an SFP delegate and Black Sheep Party can result in a suspension of up to six months from the Congress Candidate elections. Don't be a tool.
I'm excited at the direction that SFP seems headed. There are still some things that we - just like any other party - need to work on, but when all is said and done, SFP is stronger now that it has been in a long time.

Unless you are either in my party or know me personally, you probably didn't realize my absence from eRepublik for nearly a month. I had decided to take time off in order to plan a wedding then get married. On 4/19, I was married to the love of my life. It was an event that was twenty years in the making (yes... i AM old).
I see that the USA is still neutered and bullying a weak nation just because we can. I would have thought that the cadre of SuperFriends in power at the top of the elite class would have gotten bored with that atrocity to freedom, but I guess I was wrong.

But what could be more meaningful than warring Canadians you ask? Aside from literally anything? Honestly, I'm much less concerned about that. I know what I would like to do but what matters to me more is that were doing something other than getting caught up in boring war that exists purely because we think the Canadians are dicks, and vice versa. As a suggestion, why not NE Portugal instead, free Venezuela and then use that position as a launching pad for a campaign to finally bring freedom to the people of Brozil? They have languished at the hands of the Argentinians for far too long and I believe a strong and coordinated campaign, rich in narrative, would be beneficial for all involved. However most importantly, I think it could be fun.

Let's face some facts here... we play eRepublik because we want to have fun. Yet somehow, we slide in monotony and the game becomes more of a daily grind, void of independent thinking... void of civil anarchy... void of fun.
We use populist opinions, we quote the status quo, we conduct government-sanctioned bullying in both foreign and domestic policies. We scream for change but suffer from insanity by doing the same thing over and over again.
After a month AFK, the only thing that has seemed to change is that LAP has been ousted from the Top Five, replaced by The Black Sheep... and are merging with WTP. How is this fun again?

Gnilraps and the stamp-happy American Congress decided the time had come for USA to stomp across those lines three days ago with what Gnilraps calls "Operation Grey Cup". (Personally, I think Operation: Pounding Beaver is a better name, but whatever....) With Canada again declared as Natural Enemy, USA attacked British Columbia.
