Open Letter to the eAmerican Leadership

Day 917, 00:21 Published in USA Hungary by Zoli

I remember that just 7 days ago the head of the American Army, NXNW, asked Indonesia to accept a cease fire regarding Suthern Thailand, based on RL Thailand's problems.

Taking into account that RL China was hit by major natural dissasters, that killed hundreds, and that affected regions where in game RW's are raging on, like Shangdong, I ask the eAmerican leadership to stop all hostilities in Chinese regions as long as it keeps raining in China.

Memorandum

To: The leaders of eAmerica
From: Zoli, a concerned eUS citizen
Date: Day 917
Subject: RL China

This article is an open letter to the eAmerican leadership regarding the situation in RL China and gameplay in the erepublik nation of eChina.

As many people know RL China was hit by major natural disasters. I do not pretend to be an expert in this situation but from news accounts it seems like a very difficult time for the people of China. In the game world the region of Liaoning is contested by the eUSA & eSerbia. While this is just a game it does not feel appropriate to simulate e-violence in a region that in RL has it's share of distress.

I propose, out of respect for RL China and any Chinese people who may be playing the game, a cease fire in regard to the region of Liaoning. We can continue to have our fun and games in all other areas but a gesture of respect to an unfortunate RL situation not only seems appropriate but is within our power as sportsmen.

I hope that a gentleman's agreement can be reached in the near future. Also I hope that as a gesture of ypur sincerity, you will not order US forces to fight in Liaoning nor will you direct the civilian volunteer force to do so through the DoD orders or any other means of communication.

I look forward to hearing from the appropriate member(s) of the eAmerican leadership. I hope that the words of the head of the US Army where not just empty promises and that you will accept this proposal that was in line with the one you made a couple of days ago.

Best regards,

Zoli
