Before I bore you all with dribble about what the UK has been doing playing games with Norway and trading pimp slaps with Poland, I have a very important announcement to make;

France is out of Spanish hands.

Today Rhone Alps was conquered by Hungary.
Meanwhile, Aquitaine was conquered by France.

We put a lot of effort into these battles, and I would like to give huge thanks to all members of our military who get up for day change to participate in the strikes.
However, Bronchitis/Eden took advantage of Spain being incapable of holding onto stuff and has attacked Liaoning.

As you can read here;

It is imperative you move to fight to defend Liaoning.

Just purchase the one extra Moving Ticket and Move to Liaoning, Serbia. Fight Against China, and come back. Even if you can only afford 1 MT if you contact the eUK Home Office they will fix you up with the Moving ticket you need to come back.

Please; Make the extra effort to really show our friends what we can do.

Holding onto this region is vital.

Lioaning Was Secured by Serbia!

Now onto the Mundane;

Prior to Hungary and France moving in on the remnants of Spain’s empire, a number of countries took part in a blocking/draining manoeuvre. Luckily, we were able to take part in this.

Firstly, I had my amazing Minister of Finance Maggie, run around like a ragamuffin starting resistance wars. Nordjylland (our old favourite) and Sorlandet both had RW’s triggered in them – this is possible because they aren’t original regions of either Norway or Poland.

Quickly after these RW’s were started, I clicked the buttons and pulled the knobs to attack the same regions (they border us). As Norway and Poland were under attack not only was it a handy drain on their damage (and Spain’s via an MPP) it also prevented them from being pesky and attacking anyone. We went on to attack Scania after winning (whut) in Nordjylland. But please, ignore that battle.

You may say “you silly sausage, why didn’t they just retreat”. The reason we dish out the extra moolah to start a RW is because in the current module, you can’t retreat regions that have a resistance war active in them.

Why am I telling you this? I don’t know. V2 is coming soon and the admins might decide to change it. Either way knowledge is power, so stop complaining.

Speaking of Questions

There are two papers in this country that it is vital you subscribe to. This unfortunately isn’t one of them (but if I felt like blowing my own trumpet I would say outside of being CP I usually write some good articles so subscribe anyway) but the links are here and you must subscribe to them.

Our first important paper is MoD news, the paper our military manages to make sure you, the public of the eUK know exactly where you need to go to attack. If those of you unwilling to join our army want to make yourselves handy, and if we as a country are to use the two clicking damage effectively it is one hundred percent necessary for you to subscribe to and read this paper on a daily basis so you know exactly where to go to fight.

Secondly, the MoHA’s newspaper. This one is more for personal enjoyment because that’s where our fun stuff goes. If there is an important announcement that has to be made, or public service announcements you can bet it will show up in this paper. So if you want to stay on top of what’s going on and how you can get involved simply subscribe to and read their newspaper.



Ministries

If you’re wondering how are ministers are getting on, despite a few turbulences in the MoLA I have been very pleased with how this cohort of merry men have been coming along. Even if Altaiair won’t tell us where he is hiding the sausage rolls.

On the domestic side of life, the MoHA have been busy messaging newer people and running various entertainment schemes, and the MoLA has been moving threads around and reading legislation. There was a large ruckus when the house of lords was reformed then abolished, as I am sure you have read about but the new advisers system that has been introduced into HoC has so far been well recieved.

Fighting and Foreigners wise everything has been going well, the military is growing and overcoming obstacles as well as making progress for planning for V2 – facilitated by the help of several people who have magical insight into the changing modules, and of course the erep insiders which have finally proven worth reading. Obviously as of recent our bonds with both France and Phoenix have been growing, and we’ve even made slight progress with a few people in Ireland, but thats more due to them than us.

The Minister of Finance and the Minister of Employment have been busy with each other, and spending money/employing people. Unfortunately I can’t tell you how much is spent on all this kind of stuff and what money goes where, but don’t worry – those congressmen you elect see it all and I hear some are open to ‘gifts’ in return for info.
