I'm (still) eMarrying Rylde.

Okay. We can talk now. (Or rather, I can ramble.)
I know that a bunch of you are against this... "I can do better," "What do I see in him?" yeah, yeah.
But I adore him. There's something about him that sparks my passion for the game and the people in it too.

Rylde is one of a kind, well, more like one of a type of kin😛 a Jerk with a Heart of Gold**.

Enough of Rylde now, he's got his problems/issues, I've got mine. I have my taints. I'm self-centered, I love in-game attention, and persistence wears me down (to an extent). I basically developed or uncovered a giant ego of my own. Oh, and I have an eFetish for hard-hitting tanks, most likely a power complex of sorts. (Trope: Power is Sexy.) Yeah, I've fallen for Rylde.. This love that we have, it's just as much as my fault as it is his.

K, back-stories/developments & how it ties in with my dearest Rylde.

Self-centeredness: One of my far fetched random ideas/dreams is to run off to some other country with another guy and have Rylde as CP declare war on that nation to win me back. Conceited, I know, but it is in the realm of possibility for me to be a Helen of Troy of eCanada. I also thought of giving Rylde a different task of winning 3 CHs in my name (as 1ronman won 3 BHs in four days for me in V1, and those were basically CHs at the time). I thought of making a show out of it, but then someone like Ralph Kline would snipe my poor sucker and he'd be bankrupt.

eRep Attention: Publicly, first from 1ronman when his article was all about me. Given, it was a one line article including the title. (I'm so special xD)
I think Crisfire & TCO continued my attention-whoring when I was a recruitment feature for TCO while I was in CAF... Yeah... The old days of CAF vs. TCO mud slinging were fun times. (Anyone remember the hot tub? lawls) Similarly, Rylde gives me special feelings, quite sweet when he confesses things like this:

It also feels good that I have a PM thread with Rylde that's about 6 months old. To put it in another perspective, this PM thread is older than Clan Wolf's current Party President. It's definitely a keeper with all of Rylde's humour and awesome one-liners. (;

Indeed. No one can quite measure up. (;

Persistence: I greatly admire persistence and perseverance. Once again, TCO members demonstrated it as they managed to sway me away from the CAF to join their ranks for a summer. (Coincidentally, Rylde returned Crimson... while drunk. I'm not surprised. No one sheds blood and gets drunk while on eRep like Rylde.)

Rylde has been asking me to be his ewoman for over a year. Skype logs date back to November 2011, but Rylde's not much of a Skype user. 70% of the time he ends up on Skype is because he's been drinking, compared to the 30% on IRC.* He's been looking my way probably ever since he recruited me into MDP. Given, it was on and off; he did get drunk and propose to sweeta. He's got quite an Indian charm.
That's what, 2 years going on 3? That's an eLifetime for some players.

*Not actual statistics but mere guestimations.*

So, why now?
I guess I could lead Rylde on for another year, I've already been doing that for two. But, I am a romantic sucker and with his recent three-time CP victory, it falls in line with everything else he suggested and what I wanted a year ago.

I refused Rylde because he wasn't "good enough" or rather, he didn't impress enough for me to be his woman. 1ronman set a high standard of difficulty for any future man of mine to accomplish.



Now that I look back, I think Rylde has accomplished a lot more than we imagined a year ago.

Rylde got bolder, and this fortune favours the bold. He started and finished wars, protected the country from super-power wipes. He's a master of mercenaries, 3-time CP of eCanada. He's the best that I love, abrasiveness and all.

If you're still concerned about my wellbeing and future with Rylde, talk to shoi. He will likely be organizing a legion of people to hunt down Rylde if anything bad happens to me. Seriously though, don't worry, I can take care of myself, especially with the likes of Rylde.
