The Construction Program: Now With More Money!
Chochi
The Construction Program is back again for another month and it’s bigger than ever!
So far the Construction Program has reimbursed more than 100,000 CAD to 32 recipients. You can see the full details on the money spent in this Google spreadsheet and you can check out this article for comments from happy recipients.
This month Congress has approved the budget with a whopping 200,000 CAD set aside for citizens like you to take advantage of! If you meet the criteria, you can be reimbursed for any and all of the following:
a) 500 CAD for each of a maximum of two plots of land for players born in 2011;
b) 500 CAD for one 1,000 unit storage facility;
c) 500 CAD for one Iron Mine so long as you don’t already own one and only have a Q1 or Q2 Town Center;
d) 2000 CAD for one Fruit Orchard as long as you don’t own anything more than those three grain companies the Admins gave us;
e) 2000 CAD for each of a maximum of two Oil Rigs or Saltpeter Mines so long as you don’t own weapons raw materials companies which have a combined total of 245 basic production or more*;
f) the CAD equivalent of 5 gold for one Aluminium Mine so long as you don’t already own one or have a Rubber Plantation;
g) the CAD required for upgrading a Town Center.
*That’s the equivalent of 1 iron mine and 3 oil rigs. If you own a combination of WRM equivalent to this in terms of output you can’t get reimbursed. You can check out this wiki page to do the math yourself for your own companies using the 0% column. So you can build one oil rig and get reimbursed if you’re below this limit and if you’re still under this limit then you can build a second oil rig and get reimbursed for it, too.
Before you get building, send me a PM. I’ll take a screenshot of your land before you start building so we’ll know exactly what you’re eligible for. The program is not retroactive and it’s a reimbursement so you’ll only get money back for new buildings that you have built using your own money.
Once I’ve let you know that I’ve taken your screenshot then all you need to do is get building. You don’t have to build them in a certain order or within a certain amount of time. If you are eligible before the screenshot was taking you’ll stay eligible for as long as the Program still has money (and we don’t change the program’s basis). Just let me know when you’ve built something and I’ll get you your money back as soon as possible.
And I have even more good news! The ever-generous Chamrajnagar has decided to organise a loan program for Construction Program recipients. If you’re short on cash but want to get building right away he might be able to provide you some money so that you can start building that much sooner. Check out his article for more details. Take it while the money's hot but you know, not too hot. You have to be careful with that guy.
If you have any questions or want to sign up you can either PM me or write a comment below. I’ll check back here until I post a new article.
Oh and thanks again to Plugson for his help before with images. I found two of these ones on my own and take full responsibility for the fact that they don't really make much sense in. But better than my usual wall o' texts, right? Oh, and I'll be working on a French version soon (unless someone wants to do that for me...)

No, this cannot be!
But i see it with my own eyes ...
Chochi is having his own newspaper?
It must be a realy cold day in hell.
Who were the recipients of the first traunch of payments?
Id like to expand my land by the maximum of 2 plots. Please PM when you have taken your "before" snapshot of my land.
Lol, well I might as well take advantage of the only one I can:
b) 500 CAD for one 1,000 unit storage facility;
The wording seems to suggest I can only do it once anyhow 😛
To be honest, Dr.Pain, I was considering not taking the job for that very reason. I had been kind of making a point of not having a paper. So of course, now that everyone stopped using the module, I had to jump in.
Addy, A while back when the list got too cumbersome to include at the bottom of an article I switched to a Google Doc, which is the first link in the second paragraph of the article. Here's a direct link: http://goo.gl/2IlQQ
It's got more information there than I think anyone could possibly care for or, hopefully, ask for: who got how much, for what, when, with links to their original land, the land as it stood when I checked for their reimbursement, and then a screenshot after I sent the money out (just to cover my butt in case of any disputes).
Cham, yep, you only can get money back for storage. Wait until I've taken a screenshot first.

Thanks for this rundown of the program. I mentioned it in my last article, but had trouble finding something this comprehensive to share with some of my newer subscribers. This is a great program.
Chochi runs a great program! As a recipient of funds, I recommend this program highly.
There are new funds available, so message Chochi and get started today!
Shame I spent all my saved up gold and CAD just last week. Seriously. My timing sucks.
OR you can just lower taxes. n00bs
Yes, I am in the same boat as Uncorporated....just spent my money and gold bars....o well....off to the grind...
Lowering taxes doesn't help noobs, Octavian. As the saying goes, it takes money to make money. This program helps new players make products which they can either use, products there's a good chance they previously could not afford, or they can sell their products and get a good head start to even more prosperity. It would take them a long, long time to save up for the buildings the program pays for just from wages and bonuses alone.
It is good idea, but should nevertheless be at a scale level, for example 15, to know that the player is interested in the game and not spend money nonsense.
Got my reimbursements for the followings
f) the CAD equivalent of 5 gold for one Aluminium Mine so long as you don’t already own one or have a Rubber Plantation;
g) the CAD required for upgrading a Town Center.
Received 1500CAD for plot of land and Q4 town centre upgrade﹐ and storage.
I would LOVE to get enough CAD to upgrade my town centre, but if i can't i would like to have a fruit orchard or iron mine. If nothing, thanks anyway 😉
PM sent to Chochi!
woot! too bad i didnt find this article before building. hopefully there are funds left.
2000 CAD received for the construction of an oil rig. Still eligible for 1 more oil rig and Q5 TC upgrade.
This is indeed a great program!
I've got a loan from Chochi of CAD 7000 I hope to give it back in 10 days.
