Call for an International Embargo against Admin (Updated)

As someone who has spent considerable real world money on this game, I'm a little upset with the level of service paying customers receive, or don't receive as the case may be. As an example of this, I have an open ticket from July 23 that has received no response, and missing gold from the ad module hacking over the weekend. On top of this lack of customer service, we have been given a game that has so many bugs it'd put a roach motel to shame.
As a result of this incompetence/apathy, I am asking all players to start a strike begining at rollover tonight and continuing until admin fixes this lousy game.
How you can help
DO NOTHING FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE STRIKE!
1.The first and most important thing anyone can do is stop purchasing gold with real world currency.
2. Do not work, train, study, fight, or buy anything for the remainder of the strike.
3. Congress members: Do not vote for, or introduce any new laws in-game.
4. Country Presidents: Do not declare any wars, invade any new territories our propose any new MPPs for the remainder of the strike.
This may seem a bit extreme to some people, but the fact is unless we willing to take steps to show our discontent with Admin and their apathy, they will continue to ignore us!
Update:
I have been fired from Job, and do not plan on finding a new one. I have shut down all my companies, and do not plan on restarting them or selling any of their goods for the remainder of the strike.
If you want to support this effort you can choose your level of involvement, but I'd ask that if you want to get involved, you repost this article in your paper with a link to this article, and shout this article. Maximum exposure will help our results.

i think 1. alone should be good enough. coz playing game costs "them" real money...
This isn't about just costing them money, it's about showing them that if they continue to ignore we can simply stop playing.
see me second to last shout... people are quiting the game on their own i.e. without call to some purposeful strikes.
Sometimes you have to remind people that they do in fact work for you, I think Admin forgets that.
there was also recent article by Bogdan_L from Romania estimating 30-50 of player loss... anyway[tm].

I agree that a gold boycott would be legitimate recourse for the apathy on the part of the Admins. V2 has too much influence on the use of gold and a strong message needs to be conveyed, this game is not a facebook/myspace money scheme for them and should not be treated as such.

It's a hobby, so I don't mind paying for it, but at the same time Admin needs to understand that as a paying customer I expect a certain level of customer service.

I think that this is an extreme method, and honestly, very few will follow through with it. Organize a ticket submitting day, or something. But to ask citizens to essentially not play the game is just plain silly.

Sirs, why doesn't someone organize our own scientific poll? And get completely different results (which will happen). Regardless, numbers don't lie, people are leaving this game, as dsokre so elequently shows in an article without html.
I got a big problem with some of your goals. I can understand the don't buy gold but your asking all of us to stop or dailey elives for this? Think more realistic man and you might get some sort of followoing going. Ill do the dont buy gold for a month or so but out side of that, i need to progress. cant sit still. lol

I think some are missing the idea. The purpose of a strike is to show solidarity around a grievance. Gold is only one aspect of the game. Page views are important too - perhaps more important that the gold that a smaller percentage buys. If they are serious about running erep as a business, they are tracking metrics. If tomorrow, eRep had 1/10th fewer page hits, they would know. If even a small percentage of active users decided to stage a sit-in for a few days, that will send a message that people are willing to walk in large numbers if they are not happy.
I will work and train, and only participate in battles against Poland which is the only country that is really trying to take the most adventage as they can of this situation where most of PHX mpps are gone, and gold being stolen.

well the #1 is good but the rest seems like a little much so i wont buy stuff which i havent anyway and i will continue to work
