[MoFA] Updates on Venezuela and The UK

Day 2,334, 20:01 Published in Belgium Belgium by eBelgian Presidency

Hello international readers and Belgian citizens,

Today I have decided to focus this article on two of Belgium's closest allies, Venezuela and the United Kingdom throughout the year both have become closer to Belgium and on behalf of Belgium I would like to thank them for their loyalty and for a prosperous future.

MPPs
As you hopefully have already seen, we have signed a NAP with Macedonia and Poland since last update. Both nations have given exceptional help towards Belgium and will provide multiple battles for military commanders to set as Daily Orders. Additionally as seen on the forums we will be looking into a MPP with turkey for additional battles.

Long over due: update on eUK

Long overdue but on behalf of Belgium I would like to congratulate the United Kingdom for eliminating France, Moldova and Finland from there regions last month and successfully having all of their home territories back under control.

As we should all remeber, Molodva airstriked Belgium and the United Kingdom took swift action against Moldova, but at the same time was declared a natural enemy by Finland and France. France was easily kicked out with help from Poland and USA, then Moldova with liberations of Belgium's regions, and Poland helping in Flanders and throughout the UK. Finland liked to linger though. As of the day 2306, Molodva and France were kicked out, and 10/12 regions were back in control of the United Kingdom. Finland eventually fell, like any other country who rivals a power. I commend the efforts of the United Kingdom, when most would be stumped about now to desk with a 3 way invasion, they strived and accomplished the task of regaining all of their regions and putting the United back in the Kingdom.

Leo Belgicus: NAP
While there have been no direct hostilities between our two nations recently, we believe this agreement will help to foster a more positive relationship between eBelgium and the eNetherlands for the foreseeable future and to avoid any event that has the possibility to hinder this relationship in any way. This treaty document hereby officially formalises the Memorandum between our two great eNations until such a time where it is declared null and void. A full version of the treaty can be seen here: The Leo Belgicus NAP

As you have hopefully read priorities from the MoD and the last MoFA update. Today besides updating you on a few foreign affairs events relating to Belgium ( more will come later on) I have decided to focus on Venezuela. Over the past few weeks more notably during this week I have contacted and asked a handful of active soldiers, military commanders and the Ministry of Defence to give full support to Venezuela, to show Belgium's pride and power on the battefield as well as support to our ally and brother. Secondly as mentioned in the last update I will attempt to provide some history of Venezuela and relate it to the present with help of Talkewa a great friend of Belgium and a Venezuelan citizen.

Alike the past and the present Venezuela shared the same enemy ePortugal. The history of there relations started in 2011, when Portugal occupied Venezuela for 6 months deniying them the opportunity to congress. At that point in time the relations between these two countries have never been great. Currently Venezuela started the war against Portugal but the reasons for the war are not exactly clear. The Executive government was still discussing whether or not to pass the Natural Enemy while congress winded up approving it.

Alike the present and the past, our relations have been built upon over time and like a few relations they sometimes fade, but our relations are strong now and will be strong in the future. In the past Belgium fought hard and long for Venezuela against Portugal, and they for us against our conflict with the Netherlands in the past. As seen in the past hisotry often repeats itself, Belgium is currently fighting against Portugal for Venezuela. We will support Venezuela what ever path they take, whether it be peace or war.

Over the past week, in my efforts of contacting the Ministry of Defense, Belgian military unit commanders, and active/ powerful soldiers I have asked for them to fight extremely hard for Venezuela and provide screenshots of there actions. Although our bonds are already strong and damage is not needed to secure our binds, I decided to throw out some statistics, I am very happy with Belgium for organizing and fighting for the most part in unison. Not everything was recorded and not the whole population has been recorded but after 32 screenshots, 17 citizens, Belgium has done over 700,000,000 - 900,000,000 damage for Venezuela.
