Hello citizens of eBelgium and the eNetherlands, Today, on behalf of both of the Foreign Ministry Teams of the eNetherlands and eBelgium, we would like to announce the passage of a Memorandum of Understanding between our two eNations. While there have been no direct hostilities between our two nations recently, we believe this agreement will help to foster a more positive relationship between eBelgium and the eNetherlands for the foreseeable future and to avoid any event that has the possibility to hinder this relationship in any way. This treaty document hereby officially formalises the Memorandum between our two great eNations until such a time where it is declared null and void.



The Leo Belgicus Non Aggression Pact
Bilateral treaty between
The Kingdom of Belgium and the Kingdom of The Netherlands



Article I: Preamble
Noting In order to promote a platform of peace and prosperity to relations upon, Belgium and the Netherlands agree with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding

Emphasizing preventing aggression between the involved states. Both Belgium and the Netherlands agree to abide to the following terms

Article II: Terms of the Agreement
There will be no direct and/or indirect aggression between the signing states. There shall be no Natural Enemy (NE) nor Declaration of War (DoW) proposed between each other. If there happens to be a Natural Enemy or Declaration of War proposal by any congressman in Belgium or the Netherlands, it should be voted down. If it happens to pass, it will be violating the Non-Aggression Pact.

Article III: (Expanded) Terms of the Agreement
1. Both involved States will not support any resistance war, direct war, Airstrike or any military activities towards one another.
2. Both governments of the involved states will also not aid any third party who has gone to war with the states mentioned in this agreement. Aid can be defined as: monetary support, damage, donation of weapons, or Combat orders. Aid will also be frowned down upon from private organizations in each country such as Military Units or Political Parties.
3 Unless mentioned in another agreement and with consent of both the MoFA & CP of each corresponding state, breaking the Articles will be considered breaking the treaty.
4. In the circumstance a state directly asks to be wiped and directly requests military support against them, the other state will have the ability to take action and comply to their request.

Article IV: Personal Disagreements
Any personal issues made by both countries shall not be brought up in both embassy forums or IRC. These issues must be dealt with on their own and not bring to the whole country nor bring to the attention of the vice versa government.

Article V: Enforcement and Condemning
1. As a guarantee that Belgium and the Netherlands abide to this agreement appropriate actions will be taken against the violator. Out of respect for both states if this agreement is violated before any direct military action or political action is taken a meeting on IRC will take place to attempt to fix the incident.
2. Condemning the violator by alerting every active Alliance’s HQ, as well as the violators MPPs
3. Condemning the violator by reserving the right for military action against the violator by the other state or the states allies.


Article VI: Amendments and Renewal
The initial term of this Agreement is valid for two months starting from the Effective Date (4/6/14) of signing the NAP between the two states and valid for 2 months after the signing date. If either Belgium or The Netherlands want to renegotiate the terms of the treaty ,or renew the treaty. A notice must be sent and both parties will cooperate for an agreeable solution after which this agreement can be modified by mutual consent and cooperation.

Article VII: Violation of the agreement
Should the terms of this agreement be broken, the country who did not violate the agreement reserves the right to take appropriate action against the violator by any means necessary.
