[WO4PotUS] Cabinet Part I

Greetings fellow Americans,

Just like a captain of a ship isn’t worth much without a solid crew to back him up, a PotUS needs a solid cabinet to work with him for the duration of his tenure in the White House. While this announcement has taken longer than I’d have liked to, I am pleased with the team that I have assembled to work with me as I seek to become President of the United States.



Vice President:
Deciding my numero deux was a no brainer. I’ve known this guy for the past few months, and have developed a great working relationship with him. His experience in foreign affairs in particular is vast, and we often discuss events in eUSA and abroad. We may be political opponents at the time, but that will cease to be the case after the elections. NewAzazel is a bro to me and I am honored to have him as my Vice President.



Chief of Staff:
For my Chief of Staff, I want someone who can whip slackers back into shape. She can be firm when needed, and be a great helping hand if you’re in a fix. Former PotUS and multi-time Secretary of Treasury, Evry, will be working with me as my Chief of Staff and I am extremely pleased to have her join the team.



Secretary of State:
Derphoof has been working his way up in the State Department over the past few months. Although he has a peculiar fascination with ponies, he is focused and has worked extensively in the past few administrations, both in CoT and in the USA State department. Derphoof has the contacts, expertise and skill that America will need in the coming month as we seek to improve our position internationally.



Secretary of Defense:
USAF has often been targetted in the past, for its perceived lack of efficiency and the lack of structure for soldiers as they rank up. For my Secretary of Defense, I’m glad to get someone who’s been the driving force for America’s biggest and hardest hitting private MU. Gnilraps has agreed to serve as my Secretary of Defense and I am sure that his experience will come in handy in the coming month.



NSC:
As the coming month is expected to be a low intensity one, I haven't picked an NSC chief. I'll be doing a large part of it myself with n0s3y as a deputy.



As you can see, I've left some positions out of this article. Things like NSC, Media, Interior and Education will be announced in my next article. With the current focus on the domestic front, its probably best that I cover my secretaries for those departments and the plans which they have in a separate article anyway. I'm quite excited about the people I’ve assembled and what they will contribute towards the community and nation.

I will love to have new players serving in government this month. I want to find new positions for as many new people as possible, as trainees, deputies and internees. As we seek to rebuild our nation, it is in our best interests to involve the largest possible number of people involved in doing so.
