I have some new Hungarian Intel for you. This is not for a too-Clicker, this is long reading material.
This is a new Project Hungary is tyring to Implement. It contains an overview of Hungary's situation, this includes some defencive strategies, future diplomacy, current Economics, and even their Baby Boom. This article mainly goes into length about the war with Canada, but also goes into it about the US, Croatia, Germany, Poland, Ukraine and other Nations.
Although I am not certain this is from a government official, his newspaper has 3500 subscribers. The publisher is also a very prominent figure, he was a congressman 7 times, as well as President twice.
So regardless if he is official government or not, many people are reading this in Hungary, and probably in other PEACE nations.

And notice one thing ... unlike what the Government's been saying in public, eHungary also things of defense systems, not just hospitals.
What's crucial for eCanada in the mid- and long-term is to get population transferred and defense systems set up at strategic points to prevent invasion ... that means in NL and NS in the East, and ideally in AK (Alaska) in the West.
The most active members in eRep should be in high-resource areas so that they can produce large amounts daily. These high-activity individuals will be able to fight anywhere that eCanadians can fight, so it doesn't matter much. Low-activity individuals, however, contribute 100 points to a defensive wall EVEN IF THEY DON'T FIGHT, so getting them to migrate to regions where invaders can arrive (excluding the eUS) is a good passive-defense measure.
So, defense systems and low-activity citizens to STRATEGIC-DEFENSE regions (NL, NS, AK). Hospitals and high-activity individuals in high-resource HIGH-PRODUCTION regions. And in some cases, high-production and strategic-defense regions coincide (for example, NL has high oil and it's a key defense region).
The whole thing hinges on persuading citizens to move to where they're most needed.
Mr. Prez and Congressmen, time for leadership .. take note!

There is one key point we need to take from this.
They are planning not just a week or a month down the road. They have plans for the next six months to a year.
That is why they Defeated us so badly in the First Part of the war. The Invasion was planned weeks in advance. They may have even figured out who gets what spoils ahead of time.
We have to keep this in mind when we plan any combat operations or Political Negotiations.

Both Canada and the US should build Q5 defenses and hospitals on all border, coastal, and shift population to bottleneck areas like alaska.

I hate to have to say this, but...
Jacobi is right.
If our enemy was producing less damage than the inital wall or we didn't need to get it to the secured area then it might make a difference. Neither of these conditions exist in any war that might happen in North America. Ontario, New Jersey and California showed that.
In the end, we always need to do one more point of damage than our enemies at the end of 24 hours no matter what the starting wall is. That is the only thing that matters in a battle in erepublick.

Great Job, Alaricus.
I keep seeing comments from people (here and in other articles) about moving the population to high-resource zones even when those zones are within borders. What is the point of that? You don't need to be in the region to work, these active players should live in the border regions too. If a border falls, the population moves inwards to keep building the up the wall and to remain within the nation to support our military and to contribute to our economy.

Yes, but we won't have a cease-fire in trade for Saskatchewan. Or Saskablabla as they call it. At the very least we want a high iron and a high diamond. It is a big country for our small population. But we love our country.
