I desire a war, real or training. Player and new player retention, "excitement", and TP money (growth) are the three most important goals any CP/PP/MU leader should be aiming for.

After a brief stint in the US trying desperately to recapture some of the mojo I used to have for this game I had to come back to what is familiar, easy and comfortable, eCanada.

I missed the whole Rylde kerfuffle and I don’t have the interest to ask "what was up with that" but I can come to my own conclusions based on playing this game with Rylde for along time. He is a divider, provider and a force of energy (when motivated) that can pump much needed enthusiasm, controversy and easily becomes a much desired but ever elusive eCanadian champion that ropes other players in and keeps them interested.

With him gone eCanada is that much the poorer, though I understand it gets tedious feeding the ego from time to time. I hope he comes back.



I’ve been back and half in the water for about a week I guess and I’m looking for a leader(s) to motivate me. I’ve usually latched on to someone(s) inspirational and willing to put that inspiration to action but I’m not sure it exists anymore and if it does it is in such small numbers that it wont make a difference, its hard to make a difference with large numbers of active players so the challenge to not fade even more into obscurity is a monstrous task.

eCanada forums are dead, I think 4ish congress members have bothered to post something since the last elections. PP's should be notifying their congresspeeps to get on and get involved in the debate process or those PP's should be changed.

The Speaker needs to be the champion of Congress and bully, prod and push congress members back to the hallowed halls so that proper debate and hopefully results can be achieved. He also needs to find a Deputy so we can dismiss him if he sucks.

The executive needs to communicate with eCanada even if its only to the remaining 5 active players, I jest but I’m probably not far off. It needs to focus on retention and activity which result in country and individual growth. Hold contests with rewards and provide incentives to MU’s for growth and output. It may want to look at sponsoring immigration ads to other countries maybe tempting small fish in big ponds that may want to be a wee bit bigger fish in a wee bit smaller pond and maybe consider offering incentives.



Something that may help with retention and growth is of course a war, real or training, it doesn’t matter, what matters is retention and growth or in other words activity and wealth/experience gain. We have been wiped and to be honest a lot of the time it was the most enthused ive ever been, the threat of being wiped should not be a deterrent to starting some shit, we bounce back but the lose of activity and player growth can never be brought back, its slipping away as you read this….or maybe you skipped this part in which case I hate you and always have but never had the guts to tell you.



Party’s need to get back to arguing issues and backstabbing, one helps with progress and the other helps with its entertainment value. PP’s and party leaders need to hold its congress members it elects accountable for there participation and actions or lack of in Congress, or don’t elect them.



Anywho I’m not sure how long ill remain semi active it all depends on how things go. We all have the choice of actively playing, 2 click or follow the legend Homer j Simpson off into the sunset(when the f@ck did that happen), we will see.
