[NGP] Green Spotlight & KB Statement

Green Spotlight
Through a new series offered by the the NGP we will put the hardworking Greens under the Green Spotlight giving you all the chance to get to know a little more about the people who are working for you. In our first ever series we are going to get to know one of the new comers and hardest working Greens in Norway today. She has managed to not only help her new country but completely reshape the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, here is Kesha!

How long I have playe😛 As Kesha Winehouse I have been playing for just about two months now, but before then I played as another player (who shall remain nameless for now) for four years before I quit for university!

Positions I have hel😛 As a member of the NGP I have so far served as Minister of Foreign Affairs for two terms, under an NGP administration and now under a Tek administration, which helps me think I am doing something right lol.

Why I came to Norway: I started out this life in eNorway because it was so surprising to see how Norway had become such a shell of the empire it used to be, now that I'm here I see that although there aren't alot of us, at least the ones we have are active and devout to Norway!

What I've proposed in Congress: Although I personally haven't proposed any new laws in Congress yet, I am usually responsible for the MPP proposals in one way or another. After I secure the deal, one of the CP's will do the actual proposal, but it was through me that they did.

Examples are Cuba, Japan, and soon to be Peru.

Why I ran for Congress: I ran for Congress just last month and I plan to do so again. The reason I did this is because as Minister of Foreign Affairs I learn many cool tricks of the trade from our allies and fellow nations that I can use better to introduce better in Congress.

My aspirations: After working with the MoFA in just two months we have got the newspaper running again, the Embassy program open and growing, and new relationships with nations we may have never reached out to before!

Eventually I hope to become Prime Minister in an NGP administration, and after I would like to be the first female President in Norway in over five years.

Why I chose the NGP: When I started, I joined the NGP because kb1992 was president and I wanted to join a winning party. It wasn't long until I got lucky enough to be picked for MoFA and that helped me eventually become the Vice President of the NGP, later I redesigned the logo for our party!

What being Green means to me: As a member of this party, I feel I have a duty to protect the national health and international position of our nation and it's governments. I am happy to serve our people, but I'm even happier to be doing so as a member of this party.

What the NGP has helped me accomplish: Everything I have done so far in my jobs as MoFA and VP of the Party as well as Congresswoman, I would have never been able to do without the support of the NGP and it's members like kb1992 and Joshua Morriseau. I am proud to have seen us become the biggest party in the nation and am looking forward to seeing us keep growing!

Statement on KB's Actions
Recently KB (former member of the NGP) made public revelations that he was behind multi accounts that were created for his own purposes. The Greens have come together to make a joint statement and issue a punishment for KB because of his actions.

"The Norwegian Green Party does not condone nor endorse the use of multiple accounts in any way shape of form. Our elected and appointed officials are held to certain principles as can be seen in Article 2 Section 1 of the NGP Charter of Values and Principles. KB has not only violated said principles but in doing so has damaged his own reputation, and the reputation of Norway's largest political party and for this we must apologize. The NGP has come together to hand down a punishment to KB in response to his actions. KB has been banned from the NGP for three months time unless otherwise approved by the NGP membership. A public apology is also required (which he has already done.) We thought it unnecessary to issue a monetary punishment as Plato has already done this.

We believe KB's actions are sincere as he did not have to come forth publicly and admit his mistakes. For this we commend KB and hope that he truly sees the scope of the damage he has caused and hope that one day he can work to restore the faith that those of us in the NGP placed in him, as well as the faith of the citizens of Norway."
