[CP] - Rolo answers the Question - Where is the WAR?

Hello Citizens

Many of you are asking the question, Rolo, Where is this war you have promised us?

During my 4 day term as CP, I have been working contacts throughout EDEN looking for just such a War.

Fact of the matter is, We need help. Not Militarily, our Military kicks Ass, but from a tactical standpoint, we need another nation to join us. The War module has been figured out - and not to the benefit of an attacking region from another time zone

Here is why it "won't" work right now vs the UK or France

I can push the button right now, I have no hesitation, and we have the Gold to do so

but..

I attack Wales now at 8:00pm Pacific/11:00pm Eastern, - 4:00am UK time

that means the battle will end at the same time in 24 hours

but

The UK will retreat from the battle at around 11:00am UK time (3am Pacific/6am Eastern) and we will win the region - good for us!

then they will immediately re-attack and the battle will finish 24 hours later at 3AM Pacific/ 6AM Eastern

Problem is, when that battle ends, most of eCanada will be in bed and it will be around noon in the UK

Attack/Retreat/Counter Attack

Now I have contacted jamesw, and tried to find a mutual time when they will not chicken out and retreat. I proposed attacks at 3PM Pacific/6PM Eastern and 11PM UK Time - give or take an hour, so that we may actually FIGHT. He told me, in not so many words that he likes being a chicken and he doesn't care if we attack him until the cows come home, he will simply do what is best for his country



Which is to continue to be a chicken...

And he clearly doesn't have the guts to attack us, I even offered to spot him 1 region (I'll retreat the first and let him attack the second)....no dice

So, there we have it....

We need to find a friend...One that will join us and that is preferable from Europe

or EDEN need to get some ca hones and actually DO something

In the meantime, I will continue to be in contact with our allies and revamp the Ministry of Industries to free up cash so that when the time comes, or jamesw get some balls, we can have the MOAR WAR that we have been waiting for

It is unfortunate that finding a willing combatant is so difficult
