Youth and Inexperience in Politics

Day 2,424, 17:25 Published in United Kingdom Poland by Lanthanide

In this New World, a major question of many voters, especially in the United Kingdom, is who they should vote for in elections. I know I look a lot at rank, seeing who is the highest, and, most of the time, voting for them. However, I recently threw my hat into the ring for the party presidency and found that my rank was the lowest of the candidates.

However, I also noted that Alfagram, our current party president, had not thrown his ring into the hat. That made me take a step back: if there isn't an incumbent, then isn't that an advantage for the youthful and inexperienced? Think about it: the lack of an incumbent is the perfect opportunity for a pure newcomer to enter the fray. That's exactly what I intend to do.

MY POSITIONS ON THE IMPORTANT ISSUES:

1. I will make sure to poll party members regularly to establish a party platform.
2. I will campaign heavily to the citizens of the United Kingdom so that they vote for the UKPP in the Congressional election.
3. If I win, whoever received the second-highest vote total will automatically be my nomination for Country President.
4. I believe that we should maintain control of Newfoundland and Labrador, but that Poland has been occupying UK regions for far long enough.

JUSTIFIE😨

1. Polling party members regularly: We want to make sure that we're as republican as possible. Because we elect our leaders to represent us, if I'm elected, I want to be sure that I'm representing the interests of the people.
2. Heavy campaigning ensures that the UKPP receives the highest number of seats possible in Congress, giving us more leverage when we vote on important decisions.
3. There are other candidates in the current mix that have more experience than myself. I believe that I am fitting for the role of party president, because it's a mid-level role. However, the 30-level experienced citizens are fitting for the Country President position, and I believe that if I win, one of them will get second. If there's a tie for second, then the higher-ranked will receive the nomination.
4. Please see my warfare analysis column for justification of this point.

I hope that you consider my positions on the issues, and, in doing so, vote for me.

Sincerely,

Lanthanide
