In the following text, I’d like to present my bitter disappointment regarding the yesterday events and the latest actions of the glorious American army.



While recalling the North of Brazil massacre, I can still hear the words of one of the most intelligent eAmericans, which seem to be truly stupid even today: Poland should not have a high iron region, because that would spoil the global iron market. Apart from the obvious peculiarity of this ‘argument’, America, of course, had (and still has) a high iron region – Karnataka. It must have been an incident that the US postponed the scheduled attack on London, which was meant, as previously agreed, to be synchronized with the NoB battle.

These words sound very clear in my head after the events of yesterday evening.

Sindh is a core region of Pakistan. There is absolutely nothing worth attention In there, with the possible exception of ‘strategic importance’ – in Sindh, Serbia sits and waits for an opportunity to eat the American Karnataka (oh noes!). There was a RW in Sindh started by Polish MoD, StrozeR, and meant as a dmg drain. Who, for cryin’ out loud, wants to liberate Sindh, while at any moment it can be swapped back to Serbia?



The answer is: Team America!

The brave American Army delivered 550k dmg in the said RW. Of course, moments later Pakistan and Serbia swapped back.

It would be just another oddity in EDEnlaNtis, if we weren’t fighting a bloody battle for the land bridge to allow Croatia to move through the Polish regions, first to Western Europe and then to Asia. The remainder of the plan consisted of some heavy whips for Phoenix in Asia, and even a few sweet candies for Poland. Sensitive point, however, was to allow the swaps of Croatia and Poland.

Those of you who were present yesterday on #erepublik.pl, can probably remember the desperate urge to defend a resistance war in Slovenia started by Phoenix. We lost for 40k (skr says it was 7k 😉). In extra-time.

Instead of an epic win, we can all watch a modest counterattack of Slovenia, supported by only 6 MPPs, including Serbia, Russia and Brazil. Such a lovely menu shouldn’t experience any problems with going to Western Europe. *That* wouldn’t be any problem, if only it wasn’t for the fact that two Polish sources of gold are located in the neighborhoo😛 Rhone Alps and Berlin. We won’t be crying too long after the loss of Berlin, but a vision of losing Rhone Alps as a result of someone’s, pardon my harsh words, stupidity, is not a shiny perspective.

What does the American President claim?

He claims that he doesn’t have the access to EDEN’s military plans (it’s 16th of March, he’s been the president for almost 2 weeks). He apparently missed the topic on #alliedforces, saying where to fight.

Moreover, he probably didn’t see the logs from the latest EDEN presidents’ meeting (which shouldn’t be hard to obtain, they leak all the time). At this meeting, the alliance set a new common goal: to grant a passage to Asia for Croatia. Is winning a RW against Serbia, which is given the liberated region back 15 minutes later, *helpful* in terms of this common goal?


I am the general. I want it to spin!

We can also blame the internal distribution of power in the US. There are practically two centers of power: the president and his army, which commanders do not change (unless one finishes playing the game). The Army eats a substantial percentage of the budget (in here you can track some of the money) and can afford to claim independence – given that the flow of the money is in some fraction controlled by the ex-military Congressmen. One of the US president’s versions says that the Army decided on its own (?) to strike in Sindh, because… the commanders do not support EDEN. The Army says that it was the president who failed miserably. As we can see, it’s nobody’s fault.

It is amusing, that, according to the rumors, both Canada and Australia aren’t exactly fond of EDEN as well. It amuses me, because those were the states who, along with Romania, initiated a fantastic coup d’etat, which was supposed to change the image of EDEN and restore the brotherhood forever.



The main goal of reforming EDEN was to improve the communication and cooperation between the member states. As we can see, it was probably something else. So what that HQ asks for something, when people refuse to listen to its instructions?

But what the hell. Slovenia will pass to Italy in two weeks (they have to wait due to the SRB-ITA MPP). The road to Rhone Alps was opened and our chances to defend the only truly valuable region we have are microscopic. It’s kinda silly to count on PHX’s failure, and that is the only thing able to save Rhone Alps in Polish hands.

The global iron market was saved again. Poland shall be punished for her willingness to help Croatia. Croatia, by the way, is stuck to her cores yet again, blocked by Serbia when convenient.
Congratulations to the US, the genius of military & economy.

W dzisiejszym artykule pragnę zawrzeć moje gorzkie rozczarowanie wczorajszym wieczorem oraz tym, co zrobiło ostre wojsko amerykańskie.



Wspominając historię North of Brazil, mam w pamięci słowa jednego z najbardziej ogarniętych Amerykanów, które do dziś wydają mi się idiotyczne: Polska nie powinna mieć regionu high iron, bo zepsuje światowy rynek żelaza. Pomijając oczywistą dziwaczność tego "argumentu", Ameryka, rzecz jasna, high irona miała i ma -- w Karnatace. Zupełnym przypadkiem musi być więc to, że USA nie zaatakowało Londynu synchronicznie z polskim atakiem na Brazylię, jak to było wcześniej uzgodnione.

Te słowa szczególnie czysto dźwięczą w mojej głowie po wydarzeniach wczorajszego wieczoru.

Sindh to region rdzennie pakistański. Nie ma tam absolutnie nic wartego uwagi, z wyjątkiem może znaczenia strategicznego -- w Sindh Serbia siedzi i czeka na odebranie Amerykanom Karnataki (olaboga!). Wczoraj toczyło się tam RW rozpoczęte przez StrozeRa, naszego MON, pomyślane jako drain dmg. Kto przy zdrowych zmysłach chce wyzwalać Sindh, kiedy Pakistan w każdej chwil może swapnąć się z Serbią i zniwelować takie ruchy w 15 minut?



Odpowiedź brzmi, Team America!

Dzielna armia USA wbiła 550k dmg. Rzecz jasna, chwilę później Pakistan swapnął się z Serbią.

Byłoby to kolejne kuriozum EDEnlaNtis, gdyby nie to, że właśnie toczył się krwawy bój o most lądowy pozwalający Chorwacji na przejście po polskich regionach najpierw do Europy Zachodniej, a potem do Azji. Dalsza część planu obejmowała tęgie baty dla Phoenixa w Azji i nawet parę okruchów z pańskiego stołu dla Polski. Newralgicznym punktem było jednak umożliwienie Chorwacji i Polsce swapów.

Obecni wczoraj na IRC pamiętają zapewne desperackie nawoływanie do obrony słoweńskiego RW przeciwko Polsce. Przegraliśmy o 40k w dogrywce.

To, co właśnie oglądamy, to skromna kontra Słowenii wyposażonej w zaledwie 6 MPP, w tym Brazylię, Rosję i Serbię. Taki secik nie powinien mieć większych problemów z dojściem do Europy Zachodniej. Tu również nie byłoby żadnego problemu, gdyby nie to, że w Europie Zachodniej znajdują się dwa polskie źródelka golda: Rhone Alps oraz Branden. O ile jeszcze nieszczęsne Branden możemy przeboleć, o tyle wizja utraty Rhone Alps w wyniku czyjegoś, za przeproszeniem, kretynizmu, to już niezbyt wesoła perspektywa.

Co twierdzi prezio USA?

Twierdzi, że nie ma dostępu do planów militarnych EDEN (mamy 16.03, preziem jest od 10 dni). Zapewne nie widział również tematu kanału #af, pokazującego, gdzie należy bić.

Mało tego, pewnie nie widział też logów ze spotkania głów państw EDEN (nie powinno być to trudne, skoro był jego uczestnikiem, a logi często i gęsto wyciekają poza EDEN). Na owym spotkaniu, sojusz ustalił wspólny priorytet: umożliwić Chorwacji przejście do Azji. Czy wygrywanie przeciwko Serbii, której po chwili Pakistan zwraca wyzwolony region, jest w stanie pomóc Chorwacji?

Wina może leżeć po stronie wewnętrznego podziału sił w USA. W jego wyniku, w kraju istnieją w praktyce dwa ośrodki władzy: prezydent i jego armia, której dowódcy się nie zmieniają (chyba, że któryś kończy grę). Armia chomikuje pokaźny procent budżetu Stanów (tu możecie w ramach hobby prześledzić, jakie sumy idą na różne oddziały) i może sobie w zasadzie pozwolić na niezależność -- zważywszy na to, że spory procent kongresmenów kontrolujących sumy płynące na wojsko to równocześnie żołnierze. Jedna z wersji prezia USA mówi, że armia zdecydowała sama (?) i poleciała bić w Sindh, albowiem.. dowódcy nie popierają EDEN. Armia mówi, że to prezio sfailował. Jak widać, w Ameryce nikt nie jest winny.

Zabawne jest to, że według plotek krążących tu i tam, Kanadzie i Australii również nie podoba się bycie członkami sojuszu. Zabawne dlatego, że państwa te, do spółki z Rumunią, były autorami fantastycznego coup d'etat, który to miał wszystko zmienić i przywrócić braterstwo na wieki wieków.



Celem reform przeprowadzonych w EDEN miało być poprawienie współpracy i komunikacji. Jak widać, chyba jednak chodzi o coś innego. Co z tego, że HQ o coś prosi, skoro nie słucha się jego poleceń?

A zresztą, to raczej niezbyt istotne, o co chodziło. Słowenia przejdzie przez Włochy najwcześniej za 12 dni (inaczej wykasuje z wojny MPP Serbii). Droga do Rhone Alps stoi otworem, a nasze szanse na obronę regionu high wood są nadzwyczaj mikre. Jeżeli nie zdarzy się jakiś spektakularny fail Phoenixa, ale trochę głupio liczyć na ich porażkę, kiedy nie ma jak się odciąć.

Ceny irona na świecie po raz kolejny zostały uratowane. Polska, za swoją chęć pomocy Chorwacji, wkrótce może dostać po twarzy. Chorwacja znów jest w rdzennych, blokowana kiedy trzeba przez bezkarną Serbię. Amerykanom gratulujemy geniuszu militarnego i gospodarczego.
