Yes, It's a POTUS Article.

I will be running for POTUS this month. After consulting many different sources, I know this is the right thing to do. October shall be a change for the eUSA.



The last few days the big topic in congress has been money, more importantly the lack of it. GOLD sinks have drained us, and we're having a tough time with funding. I expect the new changes in the game to bring back a little money, but sadly we have to embrace the fact that we won't be seeing the stuff we saw in V1.

In V1 battles happened every day, and weapons flew out of the market. Due to durability and lack of battles, this is no longer the case. Therefore I believe the only way for us to get the money we need is a very obvious option, yet one no one has suspected.

WE NEED A BABY BOOM.

I think we're at a good time here, V2 is going into V1.5, and things are simpler now. We have a military mod that is hard enough to be engaging and exciting, but not frustrating and exhausting. Plus, with the new mod coming out, it seems things will get even easier. This is a perfect way to draw people into the game. Instead of the old erep slogan of "Change the world and rewrite history!" or "Build your country into greatness!" how about what all the other games say.

"Battle real life people in live combat!" "Join the Military and destroy your enemies!"

This is what attracts people.

Now, this may be different for you guys, but here is how I started the game.

One day I got on a game called Evony (best free game ever) and saw an ad for eRepublik. It looked cool, so I signed up. Then I did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING but two-click for FOUR MONTHS. I still fought in battles, but didn't get involved. If we can get a bunch of gamers to sign on to this part time, making it look like it only takes 5 minutes every day, and the occasional battle which takes a little more time. Once they're hooked on the battles, we introduce them to IRC, and our #defense channel to get them organized.

Honestly I'd keep them away from the military because that would increase out money needs. This game could serve as a part-time get away from another game, like it did for me.

Now as to how we would get these people's attention I will announce in my next article.
