Yeah, it's about...who?

Day 719, 21:41 Published in USA USA by Warlord Zike

This is the second attempt of publishing my article. I hope nothing goes wrong. Since this is my first (second edition) ever article, I think I'm going to write about my experiences in this game. I’ve been itching to write this for a long time. Only now I think I’m able to publish this, so fingers-crossed. (I have been around for quite a long time but nobody cares, for reasons you may find soon enough)

My eBirth is on the 7th of September last year. Confusion with this game began even before I was eborn. I always fancied being born in Aussie land. Then suddenly most of the Australian regions I found were in Indonesian hands. I thought that the Admins must have flunked in geography. So, without giving much thought (no reason to do otherwise) I was eborn in the Indonesian-held, Australian Northern Territory, a region high in diamonds if I may add, but besides the eIndonesians, who cares?

The game at this stage was still in beta version. So, getting job back then like most of the old timers would remember, was a bitch. You didn't simply find a job you liked, you needed to submit a CV. Mine read "For God's sake! Give me a job! Anything will do, I'm starving!". Big mistake. I posted in English. I was in Indonesia now. Nobody cared until 4 days later with my health a bit lower than it was supposed to be. I got a job. Woohoo! Rejoice, please.

Yeah, only now I realized what a moron I was back then. Working for a ticket company was fine but IDR 2 per day? But the surprising thing was how many people were actually working for the douche. Noobs in those days especially in occupied territories were damn desperate. Nobody cared for them, we had to find any meagre ways to feed ourselves. I speak for all who have experienced this. Some of my fellow employees were in fact RL Indonesians, and they were suffering in their new empire's borders.

For about a month it was the usual two click routine. Strange how I never got bored. Most newbies would have thrown in the towel by then. Suddenly the company stopped functioning. There was no oil and we couldn't work. For nearly a week we remained in the company not working. After that we, hopped out. Again despair, no work. For two days, nothing. Only in the third day I was rescued by a construction company. Pay was highly improved. IDR 4 daily was a fortune for me back then. In fact it was luxury, my skill went up as did my pay, it was only around IDR 8 and I was piling a fortune! It wasn't long before I bought a down to earth Q1 house which I still use today.

I decided, well let’s get political. What went wrong now? Joining a mediocre party with 60 members isn’t bad right? The Legion of Love Revolution. Its not as mighty or Che Guevara or even caring as the word Love in the name implies. But it had a cutie for party chairman. I joined. Don’t get me wrong the party candidates did get votes –from the party members.

Work continued as did the trash talk between PEACE and Atlantis back then. A training war was then initiated in the occupied Western Cape region of South Africa. Again here we were thrown into the heat of battle without anyone telling you what the hell you're supposed to be doing. So, new players in this game please thank the eUS President and his cabinet members as well as all those veterans who are constantly guiding you in this game. They are the ones who are responsible for any success you may have in the future.

Needless to say many noobs were over zealous back then, me included. I thought "Wow, since I can heal myself in the hospital might as well try again and level up!". To my despair there was no longer a heal button the second time. I was down to around 44-45 in health. Good God. So, instead of focusing in bringing by health back up to 50, fighting once and healing again, I resorted to good ol' high quality food and rest. I took me nearly a week and a half before I was restored to 90+ health.

Ignorance was my poison. The tutorial didn't even make a lick of sense to me back then.

Another training war started in Western Cape. This time I was cautious. They didn't get me the second time. Thank God they didn't. The French Toast War was on the horizon. This time the guys in the opposite trench weren't gonna be nice in letting us win.

Oh, and if you're wondering. Yes, I was on the opposite side in that war. Yes, I was one of the PEACE imperialists shooting at you guys as you waded ashore in France. And I was definitely one of the participants in the French counter attack at Limousine. How couldn't I be in Limousine? I was promoted to Corporal there.

The war went well. Atlantis' problem with coordination was exposed in its full glory. Started to feel good in eIndonesia, my loyalty was never stronger. The PEACE offensive against Argentina was next. We definitely felt we were on the side of good back then. We were invading one of the offending countries of French Toast.

It was near suicide the wall in Pampas was a meat grinder. Didn’t if it was true, but I heard at least 2 PEACE generals were dead after the battle. In fact it only took two more battles after legendary Pampas (as PEACE referred to it), before I made Sergeant. Yeah, you might think, hey, you got it made why the hell did you even think of moving, to the USA?!

We’ll have to continue the story to understand.

Well, for one, Indonesia decided to play the kind empire role. With a smile on its face and a gun behind its back it gave back some Australian territories to its rightful owners. First Queensland, then, yup you guessed my eBirthplace, The Northern Territory. Sufficed to say, I was pissed (PEACEd) whatever you wish to call it. I felt as if I was disowned. New (the original) owners moved in. Australian companies back then (don’t know about now) were low paying. Back to the basics I guessed, but this time I decided to move. I moved to Sumatra.

Life began anew, started working again (and rich again). But suddenly new countries started popping up.

eMalaysia was born.

I was one of the few brave enough to venture into newborn Malaysia. Wild and exotic theoretically, poor and vulnerable in actuality. As a RL Malaysian, I decided to stick around no matter how hard life was going to be. In fact, I really felt as if I was living the life of one of the patriots who won RL Malaysia’s independence from the Brits. But RL grudges were about to be unleashed by the Indo’s on their tiny neighbour.

Malaysia was PTOed by Indonesia in its first ever elections. The operation’s name couldn’t be anymore worse, Operation Ganyang eMalaysia. Operation Flatten eMalaysia, named after a slogan of the same name that sparked the RL war between the two countries in the 1960’s, with Malaysia barely hanging on to its borders with every wave of heavy Indonesian attacks. Well, the RL borders haven’t changed so you know what happened.

I was pissed...again. eIndonesia has intentionally or accidentally messed with my life many times in one way or the other. I buckled under every bullshit they put me through. But this was the one that caught me in the face. Well, up till this point eUSA was pretty much the evil I was fighting for all my eLife. Then reality hit me, evil is only a point of view. I wonder what would the other side be like? Screw PEACE, Atlantis here I come.

By the time I realized it, I arrived in Ohio. The eUS was just smarting from the disastrous French Toast and Mexican ventures...not to mention screwing up Pampas. Jobs were plenty, pay was extravagant, choices were liberal. And this time I wasn’t going to play mediocre with politics anymore. I decided to go big with the USWP. This was the closing stage of the grand era of USWP politics, back when the party still dominated the political arena.

Training wars with Ireland in Rhode Islands were a constant favourite back then. Got promoted to Lieutenant, so who’s complaining?

I’m going to end my article, quite quickly so sorry in advance. Got other things to do.

Suddenly, whispers of war surfaced. PEACE was gearing up for a major offensive which most of you know. Which most of you fought against poorly –in the beginning but bravely to the end.

So, that’s my story. Sorry if it was boring. But thank you for actually reading it. Oh, I just made General the other day. This credit goes to PEACE, yeah, you promoted me alright, thanks for trying to screw more countries than you can. This story is dedicated to all the players new and old. To old I’m sure your stories are more interesting than mine. I hope you can share them with us in the future. For those of you who are new. Relax there’s no rush. In fact, you won’t enjoy as much fun if you do. There’s a lot more for you to experience.

For me, the secret of this game is not to make it big but live it like most of the new guys. That’s why I still live in a crappy Q1 house, when in fact I could get a Q5 one any given day. And I still work, no being manager for me. I’m independent, no military unit I want to apply to...yet. I was with the Training Division, but figured I couldn’t go on being ordered. So, I was kicked.

If want to ask me anything, anything at all (as long as I tolerate the topic) PM me. That’s all folks ^.^

We Will Prevail.
