I am writing for Jon Malcom's Erepublik Writers Contest.

Well, where should I start? Ah, yes. It was on January 15th. It was the day of the Party President elections and Captain elections for the military units. I was a member of GRAD and I was running for Captain in the 5th Regiment.

My friend monessenmoon had posted a comment on the military feed box about voting for me. I agreed with him, but then the Commander became involved. (I will not use any names of the people who commented and the Commander's name.)

The Commander was giving a lecture about military duties and that you are to vote for who he says, which he told everyone to vote for the other candidate. Then the comment became a heated argument with many comments. Some included 'You are to follow Commander's orders at all times, so listen to him and do that work', 'You should listen to him and do the Daily Order', and 'Goodbye'.

It turns out my friend monessenmoon was kicked out the next day while I left that night. And there I was, a free citizen, looking for a new home on the battlefield. And that began my new beginning.

The next day, I went searching for a new military unit(At the same time I was looking for a new political party for personal reasons). The one that looked like a nice home was Phoenix Academy. I joined that day and found myself a Phoenix.

It was the best feeling I've ever had in this game. I know about their prestige and how nice they are compared to the rest of Russia. To this day, I have been a member of Phoenix Academy for 23 days. Oh what a great feeling it is to be a Phoenix!
