Writers' Challenge V & VI: "It's About Time..."

Day 1,239, 22:21 Published in Canada Canada by Writers' Guild of Canada

The Writers’ Guild of Canada is the new home for the Writers’ Challenge, which began as a media event presented by DAL and sponsored by several other parties. Like sands through the hourglass, falling very very slowly, things have steadily been changing with WC, the DAL, and with other inter-party relations, which have brought WGC to finally present the results of March’s challenge.

It’s been a long time coming…

People’s Choice Awardlink to the vote here.

A ‘secondary’ prize in the Writer’s Challenge is the newish People’s Choice Award, which quite simply goes to the person who receives the most “I vote for…” comments in a poll article. The standards here depend on A ) The quality of an entry, B ) The number of PMs sent, and C) Whoever happens to see the WC PCA article. The results were:

Kelly Mahoney —
Greene12 — I I
Supabeasty — I I I
John Cleese — I I I
Kilgore Trout89.5 — I I I I I I

As you can see, Kilgore Trout 89 cleaned up in both categories, netting himself 5 Gold and 500 CAD.

We’ll now take this opportunity to launch the Writer’s Challenge: Edition VI - "Changes". This will be a WGC sponsored event, perhaps with some additional help from interested political parties and/or citizens. The prizes will be the same this time around and we would like to thank those that funded WC V – Plugson (500 CAD) and 00AngryMobMan00 (5 Gold).

The topic for this challenge will be a bit more open-ended but all the more relevant to the sands of time that flow through this ever-changing & never-restful hourglass that we know as the New World.
