Greek-Macedonian Peace ?


So long, 100 year war

In a surprising turn of events, Macedonia and Greece haven't declared war on eachother for a whole 3 days now, following the wiping and liberation of Macedonia.
For those reader who are un-familiar with the Greek-Macedonian conflict, this war had become a "ping pong" war.The original goal of the conflict was to free Bulgaria from Greek occupation. After this goal was reached, the war quickly became repetitive, with Macedonia occuyping all of Greece for a day or two, only to have Greece liberate their homeland and fail to take over Macedonia. This repetitive war continued for a few weeks, until Greece finnally managed to wipe Macedonia for 3 days.
Though war was suggested to both countries' congress, the NE proposal met stiff opposition, and subsequently failed to pass.
On a lighter note, it is a abit heartening and relieving to find that the 2 nations have stopped their useless war. That being said, with Serbia now on the border of Greece, it is questionable as to how long this un-official ceasefire will last.


Russia Sieges Swedish Capital
After taking yet another Swedish region yesterday, Russia has succesfully put the Swedish Capital of Jamtland and Harjedalen under siege. This move has effectively cut off all but one of Sweden's resources, including the territories they gained in a treaty with Germany (that allowed Sweden to occupy 2 German regions)

Russia is now attacking the island of Gotland.
In other news, Sweden's congress has put a bill into congress asking for the declaration of war on Russia to be cancelled, with the vote being 18 in favour and 10 against. This vote will need 66% of congress approval to pass.

France Rampages through England, Leaving peace Treaty in it's wake


French forces are currently in the middle of England right now, following failed peace talks between the two countries. The French are currently attacking another English region, with the battle being fairly equal at current.
France will need this attack to succeed if they want to keep the initiave in the war, due to England's recapturing of their South West region.
Though France has had good luck so far, they may be meeting un-wanted opposition from the ONE nation of Poland, now that Poland is done fortifying a land bridge connecting their Homeland to their French colonies.

Hungary unites EDEN, Romania captures half the nation.


The enemy of my enemy is my friend

The war in Hungary is continuing, with Romania holding the southern half of the country, and Hungarian forces holding the Northen half. Hungary's fortunes have greatly changed from a week ago, when they were poised to take the Ukrainian capital region.
Strangely enough, there is an inter-alliance feud going on between the Ukraine and Romania right now, yet Romania still attacked Hungary to divert their forces away from the Ukraine. Though this is far from the peace that the rest of EDEN was praying for, it seems as if relations between the 2 countries could become warmer in coming days.

Havoc in the Baltic ; The Cold war Heats up


Speaking of wars that have been around since the dawn of time, Finlands war with Estonia has finnally drawn to an end today, following the Finnish taking over of half the ABC (associated alliance of ONE) nation.
Though this war has been known as the world longest "ping pong" war, the wiping of Estonia was to be expected following a Finnish push onto the Estonia homeland a few weeks ago. This push was done with the goal of re-directing ABC damage away from Finland's ally, Belarus (which was wiped by ABC at the time, but became liberated thanks to help from Russia and Finland)
Now Finland will be diving deeper into the Baltic, with a declaration of war issued to Latvia, one of Estonia's ally's.
But before we jump to any conclussions, it should be noted that ABC is one of the most organized alliances in the game. What it lacks in power, it makes up for in co-ordination.

Poland secures Land Bridge

Following a treaty between Germany and Poland, Poland has captured 3 southern German states, which means that they have now wiped the German homeland. Though the treaty states that Germany will get 2 of it's original regions back in return for the 3 states, this is bad news for TEDEN forces.

To elaborate, Poland at current occupy's most of France and Germany. TO get to their German and French colonies, they used the German region of Saxony. TO get to their French territories, they used the German region of Hesse.
These 2 regions were often used as choke-points by EDEN forces, who attacked the regions with the aim of cutting Poland off from it's resources. Or even just diverting Damage.

However, the chokepoint region of Hesse is now gone thanks to this treaty, which means the only choke-point left for EDEN forces is Saxony. Though the taking of Saxony would be a tremendous blow to Poland, it is in little doubt that the taking of Saxony will not happen any time soon.
